Hello,
I have dropped my Xiaomi yesterday and now the display is broken. I already order a new one from HK. Is there any tutorial how to fix it.
I only found vids for the normal Redmi 3 and they also use LCD Panels with the frame. I found only displays without a frame for my model.
Any ideas? Also i live in germany and cannot bring it to my chinese repair shop.
use hot air to melt the glue and pull it gently. just put touch panel and display connector into proper place. reglue the screen and gather all piece back. Done

I am also looking for the lcd and middle frame in gold color.
Up' up' up !
Does not exist, you have to buy a new one.
I'll not recommend to order the LCD by CELLSPARE... It's not original, it's ****y and it's super dark... In details: ordered 20 days ago the LCD for SE and received it today, LCD is not original - it's just cheap china screen for 150mm version with 152mm glas over it, LCD is super dark, frames on the sides (of LCD) are bigger than by original and you can just see it without any help that it is just cheap **** and not original screen.
My Z2 fell down from a 1 storey height last day . The phone is still usable but the screen is cracked on the top right corner. The touch is not working on that side. I can't swipe down the quick settings from there. There's a little touch issue at the bottom right side also I think. And the back glass is almost completely broken. I had applied a carbon fiber sticker on the back earlier so the glass is still there fixed.
Also the fingerprint scanner is not working. There's a scratch there too. But the press function of that button is working. The shape of the outer frame of the phone is changed a little bit.
I just reset everything again and flashed AOSiP-9. Except the fingerprint and top and bottom right touch everything is working I think. I'm posting this thread from my phone so it is still usable.
I want to know how much will it cost for the front screen, back glass and a new fingerprint sensor? I went to the nearby Lenovo service center but none of these parts are available there.
Just found that the it'll cost between 2500-3000 for all these parts. The screen is also broken a little bit. So both the touch and screen should be replaced.

I bought a pre-owned OnePlus 7T yesterday after long-time research. It has almost everything I like. The only issue is that the lack of custom ROM development support but I'm waiting.
Meanwhile the back camera of my Z2 too also stopped working. I replaced the fingerprint scanner and the touchscreen myself with another dead Z2's parts. All the area is now touchable but sometimes it freezes too much. Now I can use the Z2 almost okay, so I'm still using it as my daily device with AOSiP-9. I decided to use as long it can run without any serious issues.

I paid ₹ 30k. It has extra accidental and screen protection worth around ₹2000. The first owner bought it in October. If you are buying a pre-owned you should not spend more than 31k even it has extra protection as it is available in Amazon for around 35k, and with credit or debit card you can almost save around 1.5k to 2k. But please check Amazon for the card offers.
I chose 7T over 7 Pro and K20 Pro because of some personal reasons. But I recommend if you are upgrading from Z2 and you can afford, please buy this as it has almost all a flagship needed and doesn't have any extra gimmicks like motorized pop-up camera. Because only a few phones have this motorized type of cameras and the current trend is having a punched hole camera. The notch is a way ahead of this punched holes because you don't feel that much distracted with notches. I tried latest Samsung phones and I felt too irritated with those ugly punched holes. A few upcoming mid-range phones are coming with these as per some news. Anyways these are just my personal reasons.
I'm quoting my own text that I replied to someone.
"Yes bro, 7T has almost everything which I wanted and lacks only a very few things. Like it has a
+ non-popup camera so faster face unlocking
+ 90Hz of course
+ stereo speakers
+ 3 cameras with a wider one and now with a super-macro mode
+ OIS
+ less weight compared to 7 Pro
+ 855+
and pretty much everything a flagship needs. The only thing I miss is the QHD display. I have a VR/AR device so I wanted to use it for watching movies like in a theatre. The QHD display has less pixelated view compared to fHD for this use. But compared to other specs it is not a deal."
Hi there, I am using 6/64 GB variant POCO F1 for one and a half years recently I noticed problem like screen burning, on my display. If I use any app for 5 to 10 mins I see a shadow of the same app for 20-30 mins behind the screen. It is more clearly visible in dark mode or dark grey background.
Is there, anyone facing the same issue or knows whether it is a software issue or there is something wrong with the LCD panel? And if its a hardware issue where in India can I change my LCD panel for a good price with good quality?
I posting the Pictures of Screen shadow below, please check it out.

It's a hardware issue. Have an issue like that too. It happens intermittently, but isn't really an issue for me anyway because when I switch to another app it's not too noticeable. Usually happens when I read manga since the screen is mostly white, then there's artifacts for a while then is barely noticeable.
As to where you can get it fixed in your country, sorry I'm not from India so I don't know. But if there's a Xiaomi store/service center they should be able to help you
You can greatly reduce that effect on stock MIUI by going to Display > Color Scheme and change it from Automatic to Standard. Been having the same issue for about 8 months (my device is 18 months old), other than that, haven't had any other display problems, so there isn't much of a reason to replace the lcd pannel (unless you're still under warranty).
Had the same issue with a replacement screen, but after some time i decided that it bothered me too much, so i decided to replace the screen again, and now everything is fine.

what was the cost of screen replacement and did you replace the screen in MI service center or in a local shop?
Well i was able to fix it by using lawrun oc build i implemented the amoled color option and i don't have to suffer from this problem anymore.
Hello!
I've read that there are two display manufacturers tianma and huaxing So which is the better one and how can I tell before buying the device?
From what ive read from a 9s/pro facebook group, most of the screen bleeding issues is with huaxing panel. I personally have tianma display, it has no bleeding and retention (as of now) but it does have some shadowing around the notch. And you cant tell what display you will have have unless you opened and checked it through engineering mode, its most likely a lottery really.
How exactly can I check which panel my phone have?
Checking the LCD manufacturer:
https://all-spares.com/en/articles-and-video/how-to-check-the-lcd-vendor-in-xiaomi-smartphones.html
...but Redmi Note 9 Pro is not showing the LCD manufacturer there.
I have huaxing panel with no issues. There's no bleeding even if I put my screen on black. But thanks for asking!
My phone has a huaxing screen too, and I have no issues.
Sometimes I have the feeling people are SEARCHING for something the can hate on a phone...

Better to know it beforehand than to cry about it later.
If only your display misbehaves, you'd feel the real pain of getting a faulty display of previous Redmi and Poco F1 owners :crying:
My Redmi Note 7 had Tianma panel and it was really bad... Keyboard with lag and a lot of screen retention/burn. Now my Redmi Note 9 Pro (max, 6/64, 64 megapixels) have Huaxing and that problems are not present, by the moment.
But in YouTube you can see many videos with redmi Note 9 pro speaking about burn ins, ghost touches, etc. Typical tianma disease. For now maybe not many (?) users get this problems, but how these screens behave over time? Is screen from Indian unit (9 pro) different then from global (9s)? I can see more Indians completing. And trust me, they don't complain without good reason
I have one week to decide either to buy this phone or not. I would really like to believe that everything will be fine etc, but I've almost lost the hope
