Instructions :
1. Download Latest TWRP Recovery by @Tomoms / @Adrian DC
2. Reboot in that Recovery
3. Recommended to perform a Clean Wipe (Data, Cache, Dalvik-Cache and System)
4. Flash the ROM
5. (Optional) Flash any GApps Package (recommended Pico as you will get other Apps from Play Store Itself, and since XSP has only 1GB of System Space.
6. WIPE CACHE and DALVIK-CACHE
7.Reboot

NOTE:-
1.The BootAnimation is a bit Oversized so.....
Download this BootAnimation and Paste it to /system/media/bootanimation.zip
and set permissions to rw-r--r-- or Octal number 644 if you are in Recovery
2. Gestures can be added to the ROM by Adding DeviceSettings.apk to /system/priv-app/DeviceSettings/DeviceSettings.apk

so far the smoothest i've been using
Also the battery life is good (4 days standby with a 4.5h screen on time).

It's not working. The google play services has stopped error is still present. I don't know what to do.
EDIT
Finally my issue is resolved. I used CGApps from the CM forum (just search in google cyanogenmod gapps) and i flashed the fixwebview.zip file.
Don't know if it is the gapps or the browser fix that fixed the problem.
Btw currently enjoying the smoothest 5.1 ROM I have ever tried (not so many tho)

I have this error too.
After flashing the ROM and the gapps, in the first settings menu, the "google play services has stopped." error showed up after the "Tap & Go" page
I have tried many gapps available (both updated and a few 2015 builds) and it still gives me this error
I know that this is the final build and no development whatsoever will be done so I just want to let you guys know.. just in case
btw, the ROM runs fine if no gapps was installed. And indeed it is very very smooth, smoother than the cyanogenmod snapshot (it has small stutters/freezes every now and then).
Would love to upgrade to 6.0 but I am worried that i have to flash updates frequently as the development for 6.0 is still ongoing.

You can use Deccan90's camera fix with any haida rom on your hallon without any problem.

okay so i tested the new version, found some bugs
1) lock screen does not work
2) quick settings not accessible
3) no notification visible
4) sometimes home and back button does not work
5) cannot access recent apps by holding home button
6) banks gapps gave me setup.apk crash on first start, so had to remove it from zip to start rom
rest all is working
and no android os battery drain! cheers! :highfive:

I hope you didn't dirty flash, because, I tested thrice, and it works just fine.
bootloop for me too, after a clean flash, after boot "upgrading message" and reboot automaticaly...

Nope ! I did a full wipe and after installing the Rom and the pico gapp I rebooted the device. Got a message "upgrading android" and after 3 of ... it strated to reboot again and again. I let it reboot for 21 times till I decided to kill it and put back V2 of your ROM
Unless this ROM includes the CM12 firmware upgrade, maybe you should link it to them as an one-time upgrade as long as they stay on CM12 based ROMs.
EDIT: yep it boots up well with the cm12 firmware upgrade by martin_ro.

Did you flash thhe CM12 firmware update?? If you did not.. Bootloop is here to stay.. the firmware update can be found on Bliss roms Op as well as vanir's op.. Flash it nd you will be out of the bootloop .
PS: Only if this rom was compiled before the update and that i doubt

Nope I did not flash the CM12 firmware update. I'm running CyanHacker V2 so clean flashed V3. So what ure saying is ..

Reboot to Recovery (TWRP is recommended)
Wipe System, Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache (Found in Wipe -> Advanced Wipe)
Return to the TWRP Home Screen
Install the ROM and the CM12 Kernel of choice
Reboot to system
Reboot to recovery (Power Off -> Power On -> Press on the Volume Down Button while the red LED Lights Up)
Install the GAPPS Package
Reboot to System and Enjoy!

Recommended. Its light, fast and stable unlike some other gapps packages
Flashed. Rom feels smooth. But I have problem with mobile data and wi-fi... Not working. Flashed latest tangerine kernel.
For me WiFi is working. But no mobile data with latest tangerine kernel .
Caught me by surprise lol.

Copy the Rom.zip to SD card,
Boot to TWRP. Wipe cache, dalvik cache, system, and data!
Flash rom zip
Boot to system.
Just finish of with initial setup, Boot to TWRP again
Flash 6.0 Gapps (Open Gapps/ TK Gapps recommended)
clean cache and dalvik partitions
Reboot.... and Done
Let the bar Open :P

In instructions it is written to boot to system first then flash gapps , can't we just flash gapps after flashing ROM zip directly !?

Hi,
SuperSu v2.68 come with the rom, like Viper and LayerManager.

Flashed it and booted fine , smooth and fast ROM as we all known Tipsy for + layers
Issues I've found :
1. WiFi need to be activated with same on/off trick as XPerience
2. Can't turn off quick pull down on quick settings (I know it's Tipsy fault and not the developer)
3. Quick settings looks like old lollipop ones , no pages on it (I know it's Tipsy fault not the developer)
But nice ROM though , especially cuz have layers support

In addition to the above by Dr Am there is Bluetooth share bug , also if u choose charging sounds enable , System ui crashes when connect USB charger

FAQ
Q: Is the upgrade rom to a newer version can be done with so-called "Dirty flash "?
A: The answer is always the same, I do not recommend this, you can do so but then please do not report any errors.
P: Application SuperSU tells me to update the binary, what to do ???
A: Application of super-su is just to get the user to install super-su without downloading anything, I recommend the use of the built-in Super User available in developer options.
Q: AdAway can not install the host file what to do ;___; ! ??!?!
A: Uninstall AdAway and install the latest version manually.
Q: Can I install other gapps than recommended pico ???
A: Yes, I'm testing new versions always with gapps pico and I confirm working, other versions can cause all sorts of errors / bugs.
Q: Does rom contains pixel launcher?
A: No. You can install it from the store play.
Q: How can I repay you for his work on this project?

Q: How update from older version of XenonHD.
A: If you only update from old version xenonhd to new, full wipe is recomendet, but you also wipe only cache and dalvic cache.

Will you support other variants on the future, like what the past XenonHD maintainer did? It would be cool if you do.
I am still using XenonHD 6.0 for my D850 and would to try these builds as well, so, hopefully, you'll consider maintaining for other variants as well.

I dont like too much apps from google in rom, so I dont plan to include it. Less is more
If you want you can install it on this rom, there is fiew tutorial how to do it
Flashed and runs fine. No issues. A little sparse on features yet, but it is an early build. When it's got more quick settings, lockscreen config and ancient display, it will be a good practical rom.
