Android OS on a Desktop Computer

Hello, well I've been trying to see if I'm able to install an Android OS on a Desktop Computer. I'm sort of new, at working with Android OS and script. So I have a spare desktop computer from dell. Dell Vostro 410 it is, the system is based on Intel Core 2 Quad processors and is equipped with a 800MHz system memory and (up to six) 512MB graphics card(s). I have 2 ram cards in both 512 MB.
The compatible one I can find is eeepc, and at that it's glitching.
Is there a way to install a different rom, but still be android?
How do I really tamper with the kernel?
Is there some easier way to messed with the OS?

[Q] [Problem] Noontec A9 stuck after Bootscreen

Hi, sorry for making my first message here with a problem.
I have a Woxter Android TV 200 ("spanish" version of Noontec A9 - RK2918, 512MB RAM and GC800 graphics). This android-PC had 2.3 for default and the company doesn't provide any higher.
So, searching, I found that Noontec A9 is similar and it has a 4.0 ROM . I flashed it with RK Batch Tool without problems, BUT... when I did the root (I did with a .bat and adb), in one step ("enabling emulator hack"), then it rebooted again... It didn't work. When I turn on it, it shows the penguin of Linux and nomore...
It doesn't turn on properly because I can't see it connected to my wifi router. It hasn't any button, only 2 USB, 1 SD Reader, 1 HDMI-out and 1 RGB out.
Please, help me :crying:

Remix OS boot crash

Hello,
I've got a problem with Remix OS, when I boot on the usb (that I made with their tool) and then select persistent or guest mode, the result is the same, a weird screen appear with random colored pixel blinking everywhere and nothing happen...
I also tried to install it adding "INSTALL=1 DEBUG=" in the command line and the installation worked, but when I tried to boot on it the result was again the same.
Here is my computer :
Motherboard : G41m Combo
CPU : intel core 2 quad Q6600
GPU : Nvidia GTX 650
Ram : 4Gb ddr2
USB key : Rival 8Gb usb 2.0

Howto disable the onboard intel gpu...and force Nvidia gpu
It might work or not... goodluck
Ok thank you,
I put the commands in the kernel line and now there is no more weird pixels but there is a white underscore on the top left-hand corner and nothing happen...
So, finally I've give up and try to install Pheonix OS and it's work

CPU problem with 1 core always work at 100% performance

Hi!
I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7559 laptop with Intel Core i5 6300HQ CPU, Intel HD Graphics 530 and nVidia Geforce GTX 960M GPU.
I tried some Remix OS install on hard drive and have a cpu problem: 1 cpu core with 100% load, which make total cpu load always greater than 25%. And i can't shutdown or restart the computer too.
So i tried Phoenix OS too. Phoenix OS don't make my CPU load > 25% all the time, but every time i try to restart or shutdown computer, the problem happen.
I did some research and found this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/remix/remix-os/remix-os-updated-to-kernel-android-x86-t3596789. Maybe replacing kernel can fix the problem. With that idea, i was trying to replace the kernel of Remix OS => result: cpu problem gone, can shutdown, restart computer normally but wifi not work. Open setting, in OpenGL driver version, i notice the "GL Renderer" change to "Gallium...", not "Intel Skylake.... " anymore.
After that, i tried the modify Remix OS in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/remix/remix-os/remixosx64-uefi-legacy-xposed-supersu-t3525993. Can boot but only show wallpaper and cursor, nothing else. Do some experiment, then i decide to replace "egl" folder in "lib" and "lib64" folder inside "system.img" with folder in the original Remix OS iso. Okay, the system finally working, but cpu problem happen again. Open setting, both kernel and Mesa driver updated to newer version but that not fix the cpu problem.
Now i'm out of idea. Anybody, please help! :crying::crying::crying:

Intel powerclamp

Hi. I'm new in this remix os stuff. I failed to install remix 64 bit on my asus netbook (with flip back touchscreen). It has intel n4200 and 4gb of ram.
It says "intel powerclamp does not run on family 6 model 92"
Writing speed test... Cannot detect the writing speed test. System may fail to boot up"
How to solve this problem?
