Whatsapp BUG - Outgoing call drops after first ring on the receiver side - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

THIS IS NOT A RINGTONE PROBLEM!
How to reproduce the problem:
- Place a voice call to a contact, ringing will start on the other side
- Ringing will stop (call drop) after one ring
More details
-> ON THE INCOMING SIDE: device will ring once, the receiving call screen will flash with the answer/reject slider on it. It drops after one ring, and it is impossible to answer calls by sliding to "answer" very fast.
-> Phone can receive whatsapp calls from contacts flawlessly.
-> Can call from other devices using the same account
-> Device info: sonyericsson mk16i using cyanogenmod 10. Latest whatsapp version. Working google play services.

I have the same problem now on Galaxy S5 6.0.1 with Stockrom 2.0. Did you ever diagnose/fix this?
It started after reinstallation of the ROM. This time I encrypted the device, so perhaps it is related problem.

[XU] [Bug] SMS/Whatsapp notifications stop after making an outgoing call

For some reason, my Xperia U stops notifying SMS/Whatsapp pings once I've made an outgoing call. To enable them again, I need to restart my phone. The screen does not light up, neither does it vibrate when in vibrate-only-mode.
As I said before, this bug creeps in only after I've made an outgoing call. All is well until then.
I'm on stock ICS [6.1.1.B.1.10].
Is anyone else facing the same problem? And is there a fix?
Update it, that firmware is awful that's why

Sip connectivity - help needed

Hey, O am having a little issue so I hope you guys can help me out. I am using the built in sip connectivity in the dialer that comes stock (I am using golden eye rom). I have it set to receive calls as well but I am having an issue that for some reason or another after a little while I can't receive calls unless I go into the settings and untick then retick the receive calls option. Any ideas how to solve this or maybe I missed a setting? I am using freecall for sip service since I have an account with them to make calls. Now, making calls works great and always works its just the receiving calls which sucks right now.. Look bellow to understand my full setup
Person Call my GV number -> GV rings IPKall number -> my phone should ring. Some times it does, like within 20 minutes of signing in but once I sleep my device its done.

Android 4.4.2 call holding

Hey guys,
So I have a note 3 and I regularly make calls and text on whatsapp. My problem arises when I get a regular cell call while I'm on a whatsapp call; I can answer the regular call but my phone does not put my WhatsApp call on hold, causing both calls to be active and neither to hear me.
I have to manual hang up one or the other to fix the problem but it is quite frustrating to do this when the phone is basically struggling to cope with 2 active calls and is lagging.
Ant advice? Thanks.

No incoming calls after CM 12.1 custom ROM on Galaxy Avant (G386W)

If I revert back to CM 11 (4.4.4) incoming calls work again, no issues. But if I install the CM 12.1 (5.1.1) rom, I no longer receive incoming calls. I can make outgoing calls just fine, and can receive texts fine. Also, another weird thing is that if I call my cell from my home phone (voIP), or my mom calls my cell from her cell, my cell doesn't ring. But if I call my cell from the Google Hangouts dialer (to my cell number) on either the same cell phone or a different cell phone, or dialing out using Google Voice service from my home phone, it rings my phone just fine. So it's like the only thing it will accept is Google Voice. NOTHING else.
I managed to fix the security settings crash (keymaster files), and am reading various bugfix suggestions on how to fix the camera, but I can't find any bugfix list suggestions for fixing the network. Any ideas on where to start?

[AMAZFIT STRATOS][GUIDE]Accept incoming calls

On the Amazfit watches (including the Stratos), you can only Reject the call or Ignore the call.
Here is a very simple trick to change the Ignore Call action with Accept Call action.
You need TASKER (of course) installed on your smartphone:
- Create a new TASK called for instance "Accept call", Add action "Take the call" in the Category "Phone". (Sorry, my Tasker is in French and actions could be different in English)
- Create a new PROFILE, category "State", select Variable, Variable value, %SILENT ~ on
- Backward. A menu appears to select a Task. Select the task "Accept call" you have previously created
- Long press on the Variable value "%SILENT", a menu appears with Add (+), click on it
- Select "State", click on "Phone", (verify that it's Incoming type)
- Backward to Profiles
You need to set the sound of the smartphone to vibrations or ring but not to silent for both call and messages. The drawback is, if you select the silent mode by error, that the smartphone will automatically accept the call immediately.
If you want (like me) that your smartphone doesn't vibrate when a call or a message occur, you can set the vibrations to the minimum and create a vibration patern with Nothing (it's possible with my Samsung Galaxy)
Et voilĂ  !!
I'm surprised that nobody is interestes by this post !
It's so usefull to accept the incoming calls just by pressing a button or the screen on the watch.
This trick is valid with all smartwatches proposing reject or ignore call.

For me even if accept incoming call from the watch I must take off the phone from the pocket to talk. So if I take off the phone I can accept call from the phone. If I answer the phone from a BT device I accept call from the BT device, so no need to accept from the watch. Different for an Huawei 2 watch or a Samsung S3 where I can accept the incoming call from the watch AND Answer to the call from the watch.

Ok. But if your phone is in your jacket or a bag or placed somewhere in your house/car, and if you have a flip cover and finally if your network provider limits the ring time before going to voicemail, you will be happy to accept the call from your watch then get few seconds more to get your phone and speak directly without doing any additional button press/swipe on the phone screen.
The possibility to answer to the call from the watch (from the internal mic and loud speaker) seems to me useless except if your name is James, James Bond
