Hello everyone.<br />
I'm using an OPO with Hardware keys.
I always bind action " Recents " on long press home button . I found that the time between the first touch feedback and the second one is slower or speeder depanding of the ROM. I would like to increase this value, to get a quicker acces to recents. But i did'nt found any informations about this. Does anyone knows how to do this ? Thanks.

It adds a very simple feature I was missing: waking the phone by pressing the volume keys, just like the power button sometimes hard to catch.
It's a feature available on MIUI but not in stock Froyo roms. As far as I know, there is no simple way to enable this.
It's very light: no widget, no screen, no configuration, no service, no process running. So it won't appear in drawer or widget menu.
Just install it and it's active. No root required. Can be slow to react right after a reboot, but ok after.
It's my first application and it has been tested only on my 2.2.2 defy, so do not hesitate to write about any problem: not working, conflict with another application, etc... You can also tell if it's working of course .
It should work on other devices, but never tried.
Thanks for your feedback.
Nice! Worked for me

I'm planning to switch to MSGinger soon, I will be able to debug it and take a look at this. Maybe it's because of Gingerbread base version. I hope I will find because I will need it!

I am using "No lock" (BOD) from the market for this with MSG 2.1.
It is disabled the lock screen and in the same time you can wake up by pressing volume button.
I need this when I am mountainbiking (volume button are easy to catch), so I did not need the lock screen.
It a desktop widget, easy to enable/disable.
If you use your mod, is it possible to activate/desactivate the feature or it is always on ?

I dont think it will work because these keys are disabled when the screen is off.
This feature is already included in the latest stock MIUI.us release...it's under settings, system, buttons.

I will be able to work on this but only after two weeks of holidays...
great
thanks
Unfortunately, it does not work on Samsung captivate I897.
Is there an apk that you can see a visual to set volume on the prime other than the hardware that came with this? The buttons and on/off are very difficult to use but you never hit them by accident. And really not a question but as to apps available for the situation.
Difficult tu use? Omg...this is the most easier way to volume up / down..

This might not be exactly what you are looking for, however if you go to the App Menu > Widgets > Settings Widget you can add a link to the sound menu right onto your desktop.
If that doesn't help you, go to the Market and search for "volume control." I took a quick look and saw at least several dozen volume control apps and widgets that should suite your needs.

Thank you, I will look. You can see a volume slider on this video is what I was looking for. My the fingers are just to big but the controls are hard to use.

You have a screenshot feature in the notification toggles..
The most easier way it's push settings (left button between home) and at the same time push volume -.

Hi!
I'm a new user and I'm very disapointed by touchpad behaviour.
Using a mouse, no problem, I can draw or drag and drop files by keeping left button pressed like under any other OS.
But with touchpad, both buttons seem acting as a simple click even if they are kept pressed.
Nevertheless, I found a button that works as expected(?) : the touchpad itself !
Indeed, the whole touchpad of my Lenovo X121e is a button itself; if I press strongly the sensitive surface, it clicks... and stays pressed for RemixOS too.
But it's unusable, it requires too much pressure to permit smooth and precise moves.
So, my question is : is it the "normal" behaviour of touchpad or a mapping bug due to extra buttons of my laptop ?
Thank you in advance,
Regards,
Ed

On my Asus T100TA touchpad works just like in Windows - click with the buttons or double tap to click and hold. I think this should be the default behaviour.
Did you try double tap in order to click and hold?
Anyway, it seems like your touchpad is not supported.
I don't remember if Remix didn't have some touchpad options in the settings. Anyway, I'll check that soon.

Thanks Vioner,
I have tried to change "Enable Trackpad" (on/off) with no success.
It seems double tap works for moving icons or windows on desktop but not for moving files accross file manager windows.
But I just discovered left button works as expected when I use trackpoint instead of touchpad...

Hi everyone,
In case anyone wants to enable the nav bar and disable the capacitive keys, there's a handy app that can do both the things easily, requires root though.
Link for the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.alviano.android.softbuttons
For some reason, I wasn't able to enable the navbar from the code in build.prop and change a few values in keylayout to disable the capacitive keys, so if someone is facing any problem or doesn't want to get down into messing with those values in the files, this app will help you a lot.
The app is pretty self explanatory and straightforward. Just choose the right option, let the app work and reboot.
Thanks for the tip. Although I don't see the point of having virtual keys
