My last phone was a galaxy s4(my first smartphone) on verizon and we never had an unlocked bootloader just Safestrap instead of TWRP.

we can't cause it requiere lg framework but @codeworkx adapted the CAF camera for the g4 and we will use it for cm13 asap as it is stable
if you check the following link, someone has gone ahead on the G4 forum and made a batch program to edit RAW pics, which should work well. Not entirely convenient, but it's a workaround for sure.

Please apologize for this newbie-like thread but I need to ask you a couple of things about the Z2.
I've just sold my Nexus 5 and I got my new Z2, so the question are: what ROM comes closer to the stock Android? (doesn't matter if 4.4.2 or 4.4.4).
I've saved the TA, unlocked and rooted my Z2 keeping the stock rom, what can I do to make it a bit smoother/faster? I'm feeling like my N5 was better
On my old phone i've upgraded the gpu drivers thanks to Qualcomm, does exist anything like this kind of mods for Z2?

AOSP roms are literely just android
Z2 rom ive tried making much faster but there isnt much we can do until sony atleast give 4.4.3 to Z2 because there are some glitches/bugs which make the device extremly slow compared to what it can/should be. These exist in 4.4.2
And the kind of mods for Z2 dont exist because people dont make them, usualy custom kernels have this this however a unlocked bootloader for both a kernel or AOSP rom

Camera app from sony will work only on stock based custom rom, it will not work on AOSP, CM, AOKP, and any other rom.

To be honest I like my new Z2, expecially thinking that I've sold my used Nexus 5 for 290€ and bought this Z2 (+hearphones and original leather case) for 300€
But for sure I need to well understand how it works and how to manage it, on Nexus series everything where easier

Yes it would be an update for the ROM. It's the same team building it. Obviously the ROM would be all up to date and running 5.1.1 ?

What I'm saying is, or asking, is if somebody with a sgs3 i9300 is willing to try/test a 4.4.4 KK i9305 based rom ported for trelte MO i9300 with a 6.0.1 touchwiz marshmallow UI / framework.

I thought somebody would jump at it tbh! ! No worries anyways had problems writing the installation/permissions script with dsxds kitchen so I'm having a go with Ricky's Rom Kitchen instead. Offer still stands though to anyone with a S3i9300 and a bit of experience with custom recoveries. I.e. flashing zips. PM me if you like or simply reply on this thread. Thanks

Hey, I'd test your rom But in my opinion people wouldn't stick to 4.4... that's a pretty old version.

It's only 4.4.4 base as that's the newest anyone can port from as far as stock TW is concerned. I used a official stock rom for the s3 gti9305 lte as that's had the KitKat update and obviously our i9300 didn't as the phones both have the same chipset etc the rom can be ported. But the rom itself is almost identical to 6.0.1 Marshmallow like note 5 and S6 on Marshmallow. I had quite a few bugs and script errors so I've changed kitchens and I have all day and night today free to do this. Hopefully finish it tonight and I will get back to you. Thanks for your reply/interest.

I've been threw them all cm12 - cm12.1 - cm13. Resurrection remix, temaseks, archidroid etc. There are some really good customed roms but I need touchwiz for the MHL - HDML cause the cm builds don't have the right Samsung USB port drivers. So I went searching for the best touchwiz mod and there are some good ones. I'll send you the download URL once I've done it. Just want to make sure its right.
Edit: might be tomorrow now. I'm shattered. Doing for another 2 hours then stopping until tomorrow afternoon

There are many N roms...we have different camera sensors, so you have to try yourself where it works best for you.
For me, halogen os works best

I just affraid if I post in the main forum people will include MediaTek version so just to make sure, I post here . I just want to have a reference, I have try Zephyr, RR, XOSP Rev 1 but still not find my best suitable one.
MIUI.... - i mean, when they'll deliver source, we will get a new blobs and all be well
try latest roms, its all based on cm14.1 aka lineage14, they are all pretty much the same
what make the difference is the kernel and the firmware, use latest firmware of 19.1.2017 and use the best kernel u see working best,
until MI source of nougat will be out, try those different kernels

Wow, thank you devs! What do you think about making a PE or idk, any other rom with G Photos patch in it so we dont have to root this device for getting unlimited cloud storage. I got some issues with uber and bank apps(i know about those patches and hacks, but none on them work unfortunately)

DIOS has that Features yet but I am waiting for Stable Trees to release it for the most Xperias

Reddit cleary covers why no one like Me is around anymore... Aside from the Point that Sony totally fails with the SODP Management. Stock fw is bad and AOSP is even worse thanks to them...
