I'm using G925F with MM 6.0.1 beta. Is there a way to disable home button for turning on the screen.
I know its possible with Xposed, but I dont want to use xposed.

My power button in ACE 2 is broken. Is there any way so I can install stock rom to send phone on warranty?. Or turn it on, so I can use it without power button? I have accidentially managed to enter download mode and another time, simply turn it on, but i can't find a way to reproduce this effect.
You can use Q & A Thread to resolve your problem.

Boeffla kernel 2.3b6
Viper4android powered sound
i've found a way to disable the power button.
with root explorer go to system/urs/keylayout...here open "Generic.kl",search "power" and replace "WAKE" with "NONE".Do the same with "gpio-keys.kl" and "qwerty.kl"
But doing this neither the home button works
Is there a xposed module or a way to add recovery on the power button?
I just installed the official ND7 found here

On every other ROM I've been able to disable home button wake but on this one editing the gpio-keys.kl file isn't working.
I was able to do this with Wanam but I'd rather do it directly.
