Notes:
If deciding to remain rootless, TWRP will be your new File Manager for operations that require root.
Let's use adding Layers apk's as an example:
*Boot to recovery
*Mount > Check System
*Advanced > File Manager
*Navigate to desired Layers apk
*Tap apk and select Copy
*Navigate to /system/vendor/overlay
*Tap the button to Paste and swipe to complete Paste
!! You are now redirected to the original Layers apk directory !!
*Navigate to /system/vendor/overlay
*Tap apk, select chmod 0644, and swipe to complete the setting of permissions
The necessary Google Apps are included so do not flash any GApps package.
If coming from a rooted ROM and you wish to run this ROM without root then you will need to tap Full Unroot within the SuperSU app.
A Permissive kernel is required for full ViPER|Atmos™ functionality without root. If you insist on changing the kernel while remaining rootless then it must be a Permissive kernel.
If you want to run an Enforcing Selinux kernel with root then be sure to flash the ViPER|Audio™ Supolicy Script zip after the kernel change.
I've added a Layer's multi-apk Installer in the attachments section below. This zip is to be extracted and customized by the user. There is a readme.txt with instructions on what to do.
You can add ad-blocking by flashing the Adaway Latest Hosts Installer in the attachments section. This Installer will be updated when the hosts file is updated.

Just FYI coming to this ROM I was rooted I never had to download supersu and unroot to get Android pay working. It just works for me and so far it feels snappy. Can't wait to jump in my car and setup all the audio stuff

It'll work. I think you have to install the Elite boot.img afterwards. @derekr44 knows the right steps. :good:
