There's a way to boost mic levels in our xperia? The Volume in my videos is very low and Shazam not working because of low mic level...
What I can do?
Maybe you have a hardware fault. How is the in call volume on the other side of the line, or when recording video? Shazam, TrackID etc. have always worked fine for me.
Has there been a solution to adjusting the audio sensitivity for recording loud music at concerts?
Why is the sound so horribly distorted when recording live audio. I dont believe its the microphone because it only happends on recordings that are 1080p and 4k if i use the lower quality creative effect the sound is perfect even in a loud concert its like they use a lower sound recording level for that, is there no registry setting in the rom that can tweak the audio recording level for video?
Navigate to System/Sound/Accessory settings/Mic sensitivity and change it to "Low" if you are going to record a loud noise!
Probably stupid question but
When i choose slow-mo video mode, mute option on settings pane is grayed out so i can't switch off...
While recording there is no option for muting sound on recording screen.
And after recording, while editing or saving as slow-mo video still no option for mute sound...
How to record a silent slow-mo video?
I havn't been able to find a way either except for using a differnt camera app that can shoot in slo-mo without audio like footej camera.
Ok, thank you very much @tmzbeme i will try it.
I just realised even on normal video recording there is no option for silent video or for muting sound, not only slow -mo...
Yes u can mute it
In the 3 doted menu go to audio there microphone on and off. I cant add the screen shot ow i wouldhave shown it.

Can someone test changing the Audio Effects (under the camera settings) to anything other than Standard? When I do so the sound quality is extremely muffled and poor. Wonder if this update broke it???
