I have a VZW i605 Note 2.
I am using AT&T service.
I have JellyBeans 21 ROM installed.
OK, on to the question...
When I receive a phone call the call back number is wrong. From what I have read it is an issue with non Verizon service or something.
If I were to get a call from 18147259951 it would show up as +8147259951 in my recent calls list, making it impossible for me to easily call them back from that screen.
Does anyone have any idea of how this could be fixed?
I know I can just install an international ROM and it will work, however then my GPS will not work. (I also really like JellyBeans)
This has been bugging me for some time now and I would greatly appriciate any assistance I can get.

I am trying to make my girlfriends Verizon Galaxy S4 work with our T-Mobile Sim cards. It was working great until I messed up and updated to OC1. Literally the only thing that doesn't work is outgoing SMS. I can even send MMS.
What I'm trying to figure out is if it is at all possible to force the phone to send MMS ONLY. It would have to be something I can just set and let her use it. She's not going to jump through hoops every time she wants to text.
I appreciate any and all input you can offer. Thank you in advance
Did you try going into settings/more networks/network mode and make sure it's set to GSM/LTE? Only Verizon is CDMA. Also look up (Google) the correct VPN for t-mobile.
You betcha! Data works, phone calls work, MMS works, and incoming texts work. Verizon did something that makes it where the phone won't send text messages on GSM carriers.
I just got this phone about a month ago and I am not able to send any text messages but yet, I can receive them. MMS, data, and calling works pretty good too. MMS didn't work at first until I had to change my APN settings. Is there a way to fix this?
Does this problem have something to do with the software version? It's 5.0.1 (lollipop)
I'm having the same problem with my phone also!
Samsung Galaxy S4 (Verizon)
Im also having the same issue. Sold phone and bought lg g3. Ive tried changing to LTE / UTMS / GSM from global. But nothing. I turn off wifi and on data, sometimes texts go thru. But not 100%.. Another thing you can do temporarily is get a google voice number. All calls will be forwarded to your number and texts will show up in email and hangouts. Good luck

same problem here. It seems we need to either disable lte or find a way to choose lte/gsm mode to get the texting work. I did not find a way to do this in lollipop. Please help.
I need a fix also
No texting on Verizon s4 i545 on 5.0.1 with root
None of the radio switches are working
Need a proper solution ,
partial soln
I have the same problem going to cricket. Here is the solution I am using until a better one is found.
EDIT: (My SCH-I545 is rooted and running Stang5Litres rom, OF1)
[App] Advanced Signal Status
[Select] Additional Info at bottom of page
[Select] Phone Info
[Setting] GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)
This soln turns of LTE, but still allows me to use EVDO and HSPA, and texts send and recieve fine. Still trying to find a LTE soln.
Hi everyone. This is my first dual sim phone so please be patient if this is common knowledge, but I tried to search and couldn't find anything. My device is a Mido, running Pixel expereince. I also posted in the thread for that ROM, but I'm not sure if it's a ROM issue or I'm just missing something so I am posting here as well.
I have the phone set up to use sim 1 for calls and sms, and sim 2 for data. But when it is set like this sim 1 cannot send or receive mms. When I try to send an mms it just stays stuck on sending but never goes through, and when I need to receive an mms, it says downloading but never downloads. If I toggle to use sim 1 for data, the mms then goes through or is downloaded.
On other phones, when I try to send an mms, even when I am on wifi, the H+ signal comes on briefly for the data to go through for the mms. What I have now is the x above the signal indicator for sim 1 never goes away while trying to send or receive mms, meaning the phone never attempts a data connection on that sim, unless I toggle the switch to use data on that sim..
Is there a solution? Is this how dual sim phones always works or is it a problem of the ROM?
Thanks in advance.
Hello, I have a unlocked sprint (cdma) note 5 currently on cricket. I purchased from 3rd party so sprint won't help. Everything works except for outgoing sms and mms, I also have NO signal bars but am still receiving, making calls and incoming texts. This phone has the weirdest settings I've come across, my last phone was note 4. I have to put ##3282# into dialer to get in apn settings, everything is correct in that setting. I can't for the life of me find the message center or number in the phone settings. I have a little knowledge about phones so I know where to look, its just not there! Cricket gave me the number I would need to put in, I just can't find where to put it. I'm not tech savvy, but the phone is on 7.0 nougat? That's all I know about that...any help would be greatly appreciated...
