Greetings to all proud owners of Redmi 2/Redmi 2 prime
HTC REMIX based upon Android Marshmallow SDK 23
This project has already evolved to 4th stage
Phase 1 started as just a way to spice the pure Aosp experience with htc apps and caf asop was used
after the huge response from phase 1 ,goals slightly changed
Phase 2 was released on 30-jan-2016 this was mostly bug fixes of 1st release and the goal changed to making it best looking marshmallow rom
but both phase 1 and 2 lacked customization as in cm
Phase 3 or what i like to call version 3 released on 21-Feb-2016 Remix v3 is finally what i always wanted it to be,V3 is created with the motive of providing a complete package to the users with latest android version,smooth and lag-free performance combined with Good battery backup and ofcourse stable experience with HTC magic also making it the best looking marshmallow rom available for Redmi
Phase 4The latest version of Htc Remix is 3.5,many of you have might already used it in beta version as it was uploded long ago but now the Beta Bugs are fixed now and am releasing it as stable

Q:Recent apps not showing,how to fix this
A:Go to settings>Htc Personalize>Navigation>Hardware buttons>Enable custom actions,set on whichever key you like
Q:My phone has 8 mp camera,but pis are being [email protected] 6mp??why? ?
A:That's because by default HTC camera is set to 16:9 ratio for full screen,set the ratio to 4:3 in settings for 8mp pics
Q:HTC car crashes ??why? ?
A: DO NOT UPDATE car from playstore,if you already have,go to settings>apps>car>uninstall updates
Q:HTC themes show unable to connect to server during sign in?what to do ?
A:Go to settings>accounts>add htc account,sign in with Email
Q:I only get whatsapp messages when i turn on screen not before that,GF complaining about late replies.. what to do??
A:It is because of DOZE in marshmallow,it hibernates or freezes apps if phone is in inactive state..To fix this go to settings>battery>press options>battery optimization>all apps>whatsapp>DO NOT OPTIMIZE ,done no more complaints from GF for late replies
Q:Am not getting clock and weather over blinkfeed ??
A:Long press on empty space in homescreen >manage home screen pages>set blinkfeed page as home,done
to view weather go to settings>accounts>htc weather service done...
Q: Does this ROM require custom Recovery and will it void warranty?
A:YES it requires custom Recovery ,its been Tested with CWM,should work with others,and i forgot to mention this above this would void your warranty you, cannot blame me for any mishappening with your device after installing this,its your decision to flash it,but you should be fine if you followed steps as stated above
Q:How to enable google Now on Tap?
A:step 1: download and install google app(dont use it yet)
step 2: go settings>apps>google app>permission>give all permissions
step 3: open google app>options>settings>voice>ok google detection>from google app
step 4:in google app>options>settings>now cards>show all cards
step5:system settings>apps>press setting icon>default apps>assist and voice input>assist app>google app(select even if its selected)
step 6: press setting icon next to assist app >enable now on tap
step7:tick use screenshot, use text from screen
and use tap by long press on screen button

playstore not supporting
after flashing rom my phone is not opening playstore and supporting any kind of play services or any playstore related services

i will give 100% marks to multitasking but i have one isssue after uninstalling some unused system apps i'm getting continiously getting this error message "com.android.phone is stopped'. Is their any solution to this problem without reflashing rom

camera + video all works with snapdragon or any cam of your choice downloaded from playstore...
recording problem is only with htc cam,not with others

but why...? rom is really big in size. bigger than miui. there are some apps that i really don't use them. baackup rom is going over 2gb size. better tell me which system apps can i remove :crying:
