Hi i rooted my phone everything was working fine...then i removed some of the google play services...suddenly i couldn't install some apps...so i did a factory reset..
now it boots and starts the setup (clock date ,wifi etc..) and then as its about to complete setup screen goes black and it says "unfortunately google play services has stopped" then is goes back to the last working page (EULA & Diagnostic DATA).
When i connect it to the comp i can access the phone. Also when I tap home button S-voice gets activated and is fully operational.

Ive already tried Wipe Data & Cache
I checked sammobile the site for the stock-ware but i couldn't find it.

This is my first post on xda-developers. You guys are doing a great work. I am a newbie when it comes to android so I would really appreciate if you guys consider than in your replies.
I have a Galaxy S2 international version and I installed official ICS by directly updating the phone from settings using wifi/carrier network to download. First two downloads worked fine (240s MB & less than 20 MB). 3rd update file downloaded successfully (it was 100-150 MB). I installed it and it gave some error during installation about some file missing on SD card. But it completed successfully anyhow
Now the phone works fine except these two problems I found so far
1- Some kind of system information on home screen which wont go away and appears over any wallpaper I choose (screenshot attached)
2- Swipe/patter unlock etc don't work even when I choose them in settings. Phone just unlocks when I press the power button.
Now I know this might have been caused by a corrupt download but please tell me some steps to solve this problem. I want to do this without rooting the device and want to install only an official ROM. Also is there a way to recover it without having to backup everything and resetting the phone ?

Hi, I apologise if I posted this in the wrong section I wern't sure,
My Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 keeps freezing on start-up, It was working fine until I installed a app called, Go Launcher, once it installed, it was working fine until my device restarted after that, it just freezes after like 1 minute as soon as it comes on, I barely have enough time to put in the start code to unlock the device..
I can't remember what firmware it has, It was a custom one I think of this forum, all I know after I put it on it put a picture of a black tree on the main screen, not sure if that helps sorry..
It is rooted too.
I'm looking for some advice on what I can do to fix this.. I don't want to completly format I have some pictures I kind of don't want to lose.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Try uninstalling it via the Google Play store, and then download another Launcher.

Thanks for replying, but I just fixed it, I managed to get into recovery mode and do a wipe data from there, it didn't delete none of my pictures but everything else and fixed my problem.

Hi kenxda,
I tried doing what you said but it still the same., nothing is changed.
My phone rebooted then shows the same message as I posted yesterday? Anything I missed? or possibly is there anything i can still do?

flash other rom, or go back to stock rom
if you like that rom, and still want to use it, flash another gapps,
remember, always read the instructions about flashing.

First find your stock firmware, then download it. Then download odin and flash stock firmware with odin. For instructions for flashing with odin you can search the forum, you can find step by step instructions for flashing.

I tried rooting my phone using this method [Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo SM-903F] for the first time using Odin and it seemed to succeed on Odin but on my phone it is a different story...
I keep getting Unfortunately, x has stopped working...
the follwing is a list of some of the processes that have stopped working since:
download manager - unable to download anything
user dictionary - everytime I use the keyboard
contacts storage - can't get onto the contacts app
weather daemon - weather gone off lockscreen, no big deal
media storage - looks like i'm unable to store anything
The phone now shows as connected in Odin but whenever I open the Windows Explorer, I can't see it
I've tried restarting the phone a couple of time to no avail.
I fear I may have screwed up my phone a little too much - is there a way to return it back to how it was or fix this mess?
I'm going to try and Factory Reset it, is this a good idea or do any of you have any other ideas?

Hello and welcome to XDA Q&A section of the Forum.
A factory reset is always a good idea. But before you try that, open SuperSU and go to settings and disable root and reboot, see if the problem still persists, if it still happens, you know the root of the problem (pun unintended) but if it stops it is because of root. To fix this, do a wipe and then root it and try again.

as simple as possible,i havNokiaia xl 1030 rom(lineage-11-20170628-UNOFFICIAL-xl_fix_camera)& recovery(MIUIRecovery-2.04-normandy) the phone started to produce these errors
-unfortunately, google play services has stopped.
-unfortunately, Key Chain has stopped.
-unfortunately, Trebuchet has stopped.
-unfortunately , .com.google.process.gapps stopped.
and I couldn't use the phone because of these errors, i go to my app store i get a "google store stopped " ,i go to chrom i get "chrom has stopped"and so on +other errors start piling up on screen and i cant use the phone until I restart It.
so i tried to clear some space I unistalled a couple of apps and i still got the same errors, i changed the language from Arabic to English (for some reason it worked a couple of times before on similer errors) i still got the same errors , so i restarted the phone after changing the language and uninstalling them , but when i restarted it the phone went to the same statuse before the changes I've made .
the apps are there the language is back to Arabic and it's back to the same point(let's call it square1 ) before this problem started occurring .
so I tried the follwing :
-wipe cache/factory reset /cache /data/ dalvik-cache+format system/ data /cache /boot / and no luck the phone is acting as if it's on some sort of read-only mode and gets back to square1 like nothing happened.
-I've tried to reflash gapps and no luck.
-I've tried reflashing the custom ROM (lineage-11) the flashing is ok no errors but at restart, the phone is back to square1.
-I've tried to flash the stock ROM using Nokia_X_Flasher_v1.1.0.1 the flash process is ok but at reboot, i got back on lineage-11 rom still on square1 and flashed the stock ROM using Nokia Care Suite and the flashing is ok no errors but again I get I reboot to square1 !!!
please if u have some info to resolve this problem I'll appreciate it :fingers-crossed:
