Where is "hide sensitive content" on lockscreen??? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

I'm reading online that under sounds and notifications -> lockscreen should be an option to "hide sensitive content" I don't have it. I have 3 options hide all, show all or don't show notifications.
I can still assign applications notifications to be sensitive or priority or off, but I have no way of hiding the content selectively.
Is there a trick or someone screwed up and this option is missing?
I have 2 S5 phones and it's not available on both of them.

anyone????

It sounds like you're on a stock touchWiz based rom.
I'm on CM12.1, Android 5.1.1. Mine is under Settings -> Notifications -> When Device is locked. I have the same exact three options you mention on top of your post. I don't see any ways to customize this any further. Here are the menu screen shots:

Does Dashclock not work with pattern? Only with Swipe unlock?

I know that the other Samsung lockscreen widgets only work with Swipe enabled - is Dashclock the same way? Thanks

I just picked up my phone yesterday, and this was one of the first things that I had to figure out. Here are the steps that I took to get it enabled:
Go to Settings > My Device > Lock Screen
Enable the "Multiple widgets" by checking on the box.
Lock the Screen and Unlock it.
You should see the default clock / personalized message still there. Swipe down on the clock/message and you'll see the box expand. At this point, you can swipe within the extended box left and right. Go to a new tab (will have a plus sign). Select DashClock and there you have it. You'll have to move some stuff around if you want it to be your default lock screen.
Took me a little tinkering, but it's almost to where I want it.

So this will only work if Swipe is enabled? I use pattern and find using both Swipe and pattern redundant. I have to perform two actions to unlock my phone then.

Yeah, never understood why that was like that on my old phone. I have swipe currently enabled right now, I honestly haven't tried with any other unlocking method... Hold on...
Swipe seems to be the only Lock Screen that allows for "Multiple Widgets", other security options do not even allow for the option.
The problem I had with dash clock and Nils was that there is a default notification that takes focus built into the lock screen. I have yet to figure out how to remove that notification. I would always have to swipe left to see my dashclock or Nils notifications. Very frustrating.
True. Even after I've deleted all of the extra lock screen windows and made DashClock my primary lock screen, I'll still see the default/stock notifications window.
I'm wondering if it's a Verizon thing, because I've seen videos where the DC messages notification will pull up correctly (and not to the default bulky notification).
I don't know if you ever found a solutionbut, I ended up switching the message app to handcent and the default notification didn't pop up.
So that's an option.

Disable lock screen notifications by app on Lollipop

I'm using the Nexus 5 with Lollipop and wanted to disable lock screen notifications for specific apps (but not the normal notifications that go in the notification bar). Is this possible? The only option I can find is one that disables the notifications for that specific app in both the lock screen and the notification bar which is not what I want.
TIA
You can hide the content of a notification on the lockscreen by going to settings->notifications->notifications on lockscreen, then select the app and you should see the options.

Thanks for the reply but I don't have that option. I'm using the Nexus 5 with Lollipop (OTA update). Build LRX210. The exact options I have are Settings->Sound & notification. I have attached screen shots of the settings I see under there.
Any ideas what's going on and why I'm seeing different settings to you?
Click on "App notifications", I was not sure, how it was named in English as I have German set as my phone language.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have already looked under there but there is nothing to control this. There is 2 or 3 settings under each app depending on the setting you have for When Device Is Locked.
I have set mine to Hide Sensitive Notification Content so see the attached image for what I see with this option enabled. If I change the setting to Show All Notification Content then a third option appears (as can be seen by the other attached image).
The third option does not remove the notification from the lock screen, it only removes the sensitive information so that's not what I wanted.
Any other thoughts?

[Q] "Unlock to see sensitive" How can I change app sensitivity?

On Lollipop the lockscreen notifications designate apps as "sensitive" however some of which are not at all sensitive. One example is my podcaster PocketCasts, is there any way to change the security sensitivity for specific apps? I should note this is BarePop/ZV8
I found the answer to my question on some random forum, it's not intuitive but go into "Settings>Sound>Notifications>Lock screen" and change "Hide sensitive only" to "Show all notifications" then you'll need to either long press the notification to mark it as sensitive(and it will hide the details) or go right below in the Sound menu where it says "Apps" and you can change settings there.
My phone doesn't have the option to hide sensitive only. All it says is show all notifications or hide them . It used to say unlock to see sensitive but now it's gone idk what happened

[Q] Looking for a Notification Mod

I'm looking for a notification mod that would allow me to maintain the look of the lockscreen when I switch my phone on (Note 4 910f).
I've just updated to Lp 5.01 using this custom ROM and noticed the clock/weather/user info etc display is different when the phone is first switched to when it has been unlocked and I return to the lockscreen.
Please see the attachment.
The image on the left is from when I switch it on, and I see the full clock/weather display.
And the image on the right, shows the lockscreen after it's been unlooked and I return to the lockscreen, but the clock has been compressed, there's no weather, pedometer, user info etc.
I still want to receive email/text type notifications on the lockscreen and I still want status bar notifications for apps (like for example AF+ Firewall in this case).
I've tried to disable AF+ Firewall's notifications, but it disables them all (status bar and notification panel) by using "Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> Application Notifications"
I just need something that displays notifications underneath the full sized clock.
Thank you for any help.

I don't know if this helps you: I use "lock screen clock mods" to alter the clock, then I prevent the notifications from showing on the lockscreen to then show them in "nils" (notifications on lockscreen) instead. This is what it looks like on both the locked and the unlocked lockscreen:http://imgur.com/UFFcdHg
Edit: I don't know is the nils part is necessary, it just looks best for me.

Thank you for the reply and help
I've just tried "lock screen clock mods", but whatever changes I make to the clock, it doesn't alter anything when I apply it (also rebooting).
I'm not sure what you mean by "nils", Is that altering a value to zero somewhere in the code?
I've also tried "NotifyClean", but that doesn't stop any notifications on the lock screen, but does when the phone is in use.

I disabled the notifications completely in the rom: "Settings -> notifications and sounds -> when screen is locked". They don't show on my (stock Sony) lock screen even when unlocked. With Nils I mean this app and I don't know why the mods don't work for you.

Yes, I know those settings.
I've just tried "Nils". It sort of works.
If I disable a specific apps in "Settings -> notifications and sounds -> when screen is locked", I loose the icon in the status bar, which I want to keep.
If I don't disable it, when on the lock screen, I get a notification at the top of the screen and a repeat in Nils.
I think something needs fixing in Lp, to do want I want it to do.
I think I need to go back to KK or wait for Lp 5.1.1. or M.

Lock screen notification content privacy

Is there a way to hide the notification contents displayed on the lock screen?
You can switch off the notifications in the lock screen per app, but it's a tedious process. I would be interested in an easier method as well.
Sent from my ALP-L29 using Tapatalk
Settings>Apps&notification>Notifications management> on top right corner drop down toggle "Lock screen notifications".
Havent logged in a while but had to to say thanks for this.

Yes it is. I was looking for it & I was afraid to be disappointed but I found it.
Go to:
Settings> Apps & Notifications> Notifications Management, then click the three dots up in the corner of the screen. You'll find it there
It has changed now!
It is
Settings -> Notifications -> Lock screen notifications -> Selection:
1) Show
2) Do not show
3) Show but hide contents
