Ok so I edited a few lines in the thermal-engine.conf. Now the camera don't give you a msg saying it's overheating. Now I have been using this for a week with no issues. Yes it gets hotter but at least don't cut off while recording videos,AR effects,etc. IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DEVICE. Use at risk. My phone reached up to 118f. Make sure you back up. Place in system/ect. Make sure the permissions is the same. I renamed my original thermal-engine.conf1. YOU MUST BE ROOTED
I tried ur file and did as u said. But camera still shutting down. Ur attached file is blank when opening in root Explorer. Please check it.

I have not tested this exact thermal config file... But I have another thermal config , and that works, so this modification does truly work on MM, if the op is interested I'll post the link from the post from the z5 forum and another post from z3 forum where I found the files Im using right now.

Yes, this file supports Nougat. Although Sonys configuration file may have gotten an update, so maybe the now default .conf file is good enough. If not, this file will allow it to get even hotter and reduce thermal throttling. The N .conf file may be better optimized now, but this file sure has better performance.
My unit was a very hot one, i sent it to my service provider complaining about not being able to use the camera as intended, told them i had unlocked bootloader(which actually does break warranty) but they did not say anything, and repaired it. I think thats because the camera was a hardware fault(because of the heat) and not a software modification(bootloader).
My new device is sooo much better! I got 92 000 in Antutu running Nougat. Last device got 56 000... I believe Sony begun to manufacture different motherboards with better optimized 810's. So my first unit was a pre-order and may had the first motherboard(therefore run very hot) and when i repaired it i got a motherboard with a later production date.
Anyways, i have a nexus x5 now, and do like that device much better...
testing this config on my Z3+ dual with MM now
edit:
reboot my phone twice with this "tuned" thermal conf and the temp jumped up over 70 Celsius
step back to my stock thermal conf and reboot twice again and my cpu temp kept under 60 Celsius
using this one now and its fealing better so far

Ya.. It actualy make your GPU fruequwncy to get the Maximmum Power.. Because of the first India Kitkat release or the Genxxt Kitkat.. Doesn't have lag / fps that drop fixed.
So i made a init.d script... To make the GPU to get maximum power ..so we got the highest FPS that we can use...
I use it and not experience it yet.. If you get battery drain.. You can just remove it from init.d ..

- i must make folder init.d to my system
- then copy your script to it,
- activated via superSu <<< --- how ? (done it Smanager from playstore and activate it)

Nope .... u just need root only to place it in the system and after placing it just reboot ur phone and it will work by itself !

If you use init.d .. Search how to use init.d on stock kernel... If smanager... Just search how to run script auto on boot using smanager.. (And dont forget the SU)

Just use a root browser to navigate to /system where you will see folders like app, framework, priv-app, lib and such. Just select all the files and folders and copy them somewhere in your sdcard. Then zip them up and upload on Dev Host rather than 4Shared coz I hate to login at the damn site to download anything.

I found an application to help with root, and it worked. For custom recovery you can look at twrp but since your generic device will definitely not have device trees available, there's no way to compile it for you.

Bro, I think custom recovery isn't needed? I downloaded a ROM before and boot my device to recovery mode and apply update zip from storage, I choosed the correct ROM I downloaded and it started flashing, I was scared cause my device might brick cause the ROM wasn't really for my device so I immediately restarted, I don't know. Isn't it possible to just have ODIN and let the work do it for me so I have custom recovery? Thanks man.

Man, if you look the files inside the zip, you will know the correct answer. As I said, you can't claim it will work on every MIUI and Android versions.
I don't know where to find an FSC script to flash .111 since flashtool keeps telling me that "Flash script is mandatory. Closing session". I don't know if I can't just take one from F33XX or if I'll brick my device. Flashtool doesnt provide a default.fsc file, itr only provides "F32XX.properties". And if doesn't exist, how can I make it by myself ?

I just downgraded my phone to .111 using the latest Flashtool. I went to Users/.flashtool and copied the default fsc of the F31XX to the F32XX folder, renaming it to the build version, something like "F3212_36.0.B.1.111.fsc". Flashtool then asked me if I wanted to use it during the flash, I answered yes. Now my phone is fully working, rooted and xposed on .111, till now everything is working fine, even the front camera focus

I just downgraded my phone to .111 using the latest Flashtool. I went to Users/.flashtool and copied the default fsc of the F31XX to the F32XX folder, renaming it to the build version, something like "F3212_36.0.B.1.111.fsc". Flashtool then asked me if I wanted to use it during the flash, I answered yes. Now my phone is fully working, rooted and xposed on .111, till now everything is working fine, even the front camera focus

Hope you have finally found the way to it, otherwise I'd like to tell how I did this.
First, in Windows, open file explorer and click on c:/ go to users and double click on your user name to open.
Once there go to .flashtools and navigate till you find the folder devices, open it and go to the foder corresponding to the name of your device, in this case I assume it musst be F32XX, open it and see if the is a file named F3213_(version of the room).fsc without the brackets.
If there is not you can goback to the devices folder and open the folder corresponding to F3211 and find a file named F3211_(version of a rom).fsc, if so just copy it into the folder corresponding to your device making sure your rename it with F3213_(version of the rom).fsc.
Finally just flash your rom with flashtools, at the beginning of the process it will ask you if you waant to use the fsc file found, just click on yes and the process will begin and end successfully.
I worked for me.

Firstly thanks for your work on treble (running v9 su and gapps on my p10 plus)
Created the folder and placed the apk as advised (folder permissions set to 755, apk to 644) rebooted but can't launch the app.

Mate, tried the app (installed in /system/priv-app/HwCamera) but it crash. So I try to find the problem and i got that libHwPostCamera_jni.so in /vendor/lib64 is missing. So i extracted the missing file in stock emui rom and the camera is working now.
Btw, I used p10 plus. I attached the missing file.
If someone want to try, just copy to /vendor/lib64 and set to 644 permission

You'll need to free up some space in /system or resize system image
Those who are facing any problem while using any root browser, the best option will be Mixplorer, which is available in our XDA forum, no need to set permission, just copy the file, permission gets set automatically.

No, I get a black screen, I have to open the gallery from the app drawer to see photos

You gotta free space up. I deleted the apps that Google provides, Dialer, Contacts, Chrome and then installed the APK, and those I deleted I downloaded them from Play Store. Did everything with Mixplorer.
After installing camera quality is the same as stock rom? Both cameras working? (P10)

Just want to say that using your file from p10 plus, it also worked on my mate 10 pro.

Thanks mate. I'm really confused about my buying decision. If this treble thing works out great, I might get a honor v10 and save some bucks rather than getting a op5t
