Have you tried official bootloader unlock on the chineese (you can select English language) Huawei site. For (T1 8.0 PRO) they gave unlock code and instructions.

For me it was working, but I have a different tab. Anyway try this one: type ()()1357946()() on calculator app then press =
On some Huawei tab this works

Unfortunately, the way that you typed also does not work
I do not know what to do with this device is very slow and has a very heavy and Aadri why Huawei stopped when updating Android 4.1.2
Try to search in any way to find ROM For this device But I did not find this link in the first post I hope that the developers tell me that if the information is correct or not done

Hello, so I've bought a Huawei Ascend Y6, and it's on its way. I didn't realize that there seems to be a lack of support for third party OS's before I've bought it. I see threads about other devices that have lots of work built around them, some of them being Huawei products, but none seem to match this exact model. I'm finding nothing either here, or through search engines.
So if nobody's written a ROM for this Huawei phone, am I out of luck and just stuck with the stock OS? I'd appreciate help very much, thanks.

Yes, I believe the phone is also just called the Huawei Y6! My model is the SCL-L04, so I could also give you some details on that if you need any, and if it would help you. Do you have any links to your work on this? I'd love to try finally installing a new OS on this phone, (though I'm not sure how to do it with this locked down bootloader).

I don't have any work ready yet and I only have the SCL-L21 libs ready to work with. Could you send me a backup of your system.img? I could work with that.

I would like to, but so far I can't find the file you mentioned. Whenever I search for it, I only get results on how to unpack it, but I can't locate it in the mtp client. Any help?

You'd have to create a TWRP backup, then they will show up in the backups folder of TWRP.

Ok so i got an "Allview E4" not the lite version. It's not a chinese fake or knockoff. It's just made in china it works really well, etc... Well, i can't root it.. There is no way to root it, impossible, No "One-click root" softwares/apks work, and also the fact that it has no "install" in the recovery menu isn't helping, oh and it's in chinese as well

For me it worked at first with kingroot.
Then I found boot.img on needrom, and patched it with magisk (via adb/fastboot), and now I have magisk root
i want to unlock my honor 5x bootloader but i am not getting the code from honor website. I also contacted through email and I went to there customer service center. But they are not giving me any code. so please someone help me to unlock my honor 5x bootloader.

I think the code is unique for each device. Give a try to the unnoficial method here.

tried but seems some issue with code as got some error for no login for 14 days...weird. check below link on UC browser..I followed the chinese webpage method given.

tried again...for me its working for my Honor 5C but not for your model. seems some issue with your model.

Not to my knowledge, it seems that FunTouch (the fork Vivo has developed of Android) is particularly complicated to root for some reasons. The handset comes with options to "unlock boot loader" but I am not sure regarding the steps from there. From my searches is Baidu and on Chinese BBS-boards such as YDSS (can't link because my account is new) there is still no luck regarding rooting or flashing custom roms for Vivo x20/x20plus. :crying:

Bought one ... very annoying but it doesnt allow you to change stock launcher. It always defaults back to the stock launcher.

[UPDATE] So it turns out you can change the stock launcher for the X20 Plus UD; you need to complete a second step which can be found in settings|security|replace the system launcher. However, in my version you have to first sign up with VIVO Cloud which requires a chinese phone number (it sends you a verification sms).
Loving the phone now!!
