I just noticed this spot on the display. I've only had the watch a few days. Don't mind the background, it just shows the spot more readily.

Hmm, I'm not sure I'm seeing the spot you're referring too. Where is it and what am I looking for?

It's a purplish spot on the middle of the left half (the black section).
I have it too in my watch, no idea if it's a future problem. It's barely noticeable for now.

I think it is a small pressure spot from the circuit board underneath the screen. I have it on my watch too and notice it "ripples" a little bit if I bend my wrist and put some pressure on the screen. I'm not too worried about it (my 1st gen 360 had it too)
yeah when i bend my wrist and stuff, I see a blueish spot in that exact area. it goes away tho when pressure is gone.

I've heard about yellow tints on the TFPrime, and I certainly have that, but there's something else I noticed, like the opposite of screen bleeding.
On the left of my screen, there's two lines that are consistently darker when the screen is showing one solid color. I couldn't get a good picture that shows it, but I selected them here. Is this something else that will go away or something? @[email protected]

Gamestop in Allentown, PA. I'm from Philly.
im looking for something like this http://www.discountcell.com/cellular/p/htdroid-dna_clunipodium_4
that one loses stickiness after short time according to reviewers.
anyone know of a stand/podium I can buy? just something to stand it up, for example at computer desk. I got spoiled from the kickstand on my old T-bolt.

Verizon sells these for $12 in store. Now if you use it the way it is intended it will cut off a small portion of the bottom of your screen, plus the viewing angle is a little steep. So what I did was if you notice in pic 2, that bottom flat piece is a sliding shelf for stability. I peeled the rubber foot off the bottom of it and stuck it on top, so now I can rest my DNA fully exposed backwards against the stand, and the little rubber foot keeps it from sliding off. This gives me more of a 45 degree viewing angle and looks nicer imo.
I'm wondering if the faint vertical gray lines I see on my G3 are a device specific issue or if everyone is having the same problem. For some reason whenever I look at the stock background or anything with white or light colors I can see vertical gray lines on my G3's screen. They aren't that noticeable, but now that I have noticed them, I seem to always notice them. Does anyone else have this problem or should I exchange my device for a new one?
So looking at a white or light background makes these "grey bars" visible?

Yes, faint but now that I've seen it already they bug me.
All the LG G3 phones have it. Some people notice them, some don't. And they vary in degree
Those little grey lines
Are your phones capacitive input sensors, its how the phone registers touch.

i own a gear s and i have a problem with display. on the bottom part appeared a line from left to right and width/height of 1mm. the line stays there instead of the normal content during menu navigation.
i tried to reset or restart but no success. when the screen is off the line disappears also.
strange thing is that the color of the line differs according with the color of the screen
is it a hardware or software problem?
Just my opinion but it sounds like a hardware issue.

Is it something like that?
In my case it's vertical. Sometimes very visible - like you can see on pics below. Other time barely visible...

My Gear S had a similar white line, running vertical, on the right side of the screen.
Within a day or two, the entire screen was affected. It looked faded, streaky horizontally, still with the vertical white line on the side.
Now, the display does not work at all. Completely blank, black, no light whatsoever.
After opening it up, the liquid damage indicator is still flawless. And after putting it back together, the watch still works perfectly! You just have to know what should be on the screen.
What happened? What can I do?
Hey I notice a purple spot on my screen. Its very noticeable on dark background. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Blunt object impact. Can't be repaired; panel must be replaced.

When you say panel, you mean screen/digitizer?

Correct (short for LCD panel). Very difficult to replace on HDX devices due to copious use of industrial glue during the manufacturing process. Of course, you probably won't care about cracking the old display during disassembly. Getting the new one to lay flat is a different matter.
