En, I know that. I means the hardware. Because mine not work too.
Too many patches and bugs need to fixed. The kernel Remix using is 4.0.X. Too old to merged.

for me - using teclast X98- phoenix is more awesome than remix.. my wifi works fine with both os but the Bluetooth and sound don't..
screen resolution and dpi is better in Phoenix.. also their browser is magnificent and the dual boot method is fairly straightforward

yes I tried one app but it did nothing.. I think it is a kernel problem.. anyway I will try another apps while waiting patiently for Remix os Beta.

I've been looking for something like this to replace Windows 10 on my ASUS Vivotab 8 for a while now. I had never heard of PhoenixOS before following the link to XDA from Remix.
I had to disable secure boot in my bios to get this to install, but after it reboots it says unable to find rtc0 or something. Then it says something about searching for Phoenix and a bunch of dots going across the screen until it finally goes blank and nothing else. Just wandering if I'm not waiting long enough or if something is wrong.

Holy crqp the new phoneux OS is soo snappy and they changed a few things around
Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

I have been using Remix for a couple of weeks and I found out about Phoenix yesterday and I have really like Phoenix over Remix at this point in development. Phoenix has a rooted, with google play working great. Fast and smooth. I will be using both and see what happens

Can I ask a viber ques? Am trying to run it on both my sgp5 & itouch4 - but it always shuts the latest device added off - it will support two devices but not if it thinks both are cell phones. Apparently it thinks sgp5 is a phone & itouch4 is an iPhone. Can I tell my sgp5 to be a tablet to help this? Most threads about this only show this for ICS running on sgp5 but I am on cm11 KK and not even sure what else tab mode might do. But it might be worth going to ICS to get tab to get viper to stay on?

Sorry, my knowledge stops there. I think you need to use the source, build the recovery to our device, and set it up with a kernel.
And, btw, what Recovery are you wanting to port/use?
It was a touch recovery without any kernels and it had keyboard input and looked neat.
I will try searching for how to port it i really want it.

I'm not completely sure I would want this since it would get rid of the knock knock feature wouldn't it?

Knock on still exists in the kernel.
Knock off will eventually be added to the launcher from what I read.
Until then,there are certainly workarounds.
I had knock on and knock off (on launcher AND any app via status bar) working on my *HTC ONE* before I got this. Using just Nova Launcher, Secure Settings, and GMD Gesture Controls

[Q] Android Device Manager

Can anyone find their Mate 2 on Android Device Manager. I never had a problem on JB, but since the update Android Device Manager doesnt list it at all. Am I the only one?
Looked up the issue online and I see multiple other devices with the same issue....
http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIw4627mSA
Apparently there's a problem with it currently. I have 4 Android devices and I can only see one of them. Hopefully this is what we're experiencing and they will fix it.
Unfortunately I never checked to see if it ever worked on Lollipop.

The camera drivers are propietary stuff mostly, so no they are not in the kernel. Blobs although can be extracted from the device. Don't know how easy it will be but it's possible.
