Is it possible to set different call ringtones for each SIM ?
I meant SIM1 --> Ringtone1, SIM2 -->Ringtone2
It's also useful for notification

Just updated on zune... and no flip-to-silence.
not on alarm, calls, nothing.
Yet I have hotspot etc.
Updated a few hours back. I seem to have got flip-to-silence on ring tones anyway.
Me too, on my Lumia 800 (with oem cab installed) I got the WiFi thetering, MMS improvements but no flip-to-silence, is it option to be enabled?
OS 7.10.8773.98

i don't find an option to enable/disable. The only thing I did remotely related to this feautre was to change ringtone after the update.
There is no option to enable/disable, it just works. Try to call yourself and you'll see

It does, it only works when someone rings you, just flip the phone to silence, i was hopingit would silence the phone completly once flipped but no.

(Filmed with my brothers HTC One X.. too bad the color on the camera is so yellow :S)
What happened, and how to fix it? It started when I upgraded to AOKP for x10 and continued after changing KERNEL and ROM to FXP 126 CM9.
Note:
- You can notice that all the color is correct within the second I do an interaction that causes a pop-up.
- Screenshots is in correct colors.
- white and black level does not change.
- Background is completely broken.
:good: Thanks!
Update from phone: XDA forums looks good in blue.
Update 2: I'm 100% sure red and blue has switched.

It fixes colour issue
Ohh.. missed that one. Thank you
edit: I do have some other problems too, if anyone can quickly answer them:
- I have lost all form of contact with my sim-card.
- Wi-fi is working, but the signal in the notification bar is only showing a gray wifi icon with some arrows poping up.

1. did you had enabled sim lock before installing CM9 ? it is supposed to be turned off.
2. wifi icon is like that only and the arrows popping up on that indicate the flow of data.

So with CM9, you can't call or use mobile network?
Isn't that a bug they should focus on before adding more from the latest CM9 builds?
edit: Didn't notice it was 2 posts, sorry.

I have never touched the sim lock thing. Only skipped it in other ROMs when asked. So I'm not sure. :S
edit2: I tested without my sim-card, where it said I didn't have a sim-card in a small text at the bottom of the lock-screen. When I have the sim-card inserted it won't say anything. So it's a little difference.
I don't have to enter my pin code in either.

Sorry I misunderstood you when you said contact.
insert your simcard in other phone and disable sim pin or go back to 2.3.3 and disable sim pin in simcard
then you can install cm9 and sim will be functional

actually you are supposed to disable sim locks in gingerbread before upgrading to ics based roms.
coz the current ics roms aren't yet programmed to ask for sim lock pin on reboot and hence the sim would remain locked and you won't be able to perform any network operations.
also about accessing sim phone book you can try this : go to dialer and type *#*#4636#*#* >> go to phone information >> hit options button >> view sim addressbook
(i haven't accessed this menu on ics rom but it will mostly work out. do try)
dear friends, i have mate 10 and i'm having whatsapp notification problem, i recieve whatsapp message and sometimes the phone doesn't sound notifications.
is the problem related to oreo, nougat or the whatsapp app itself.?
It does sound, but default notification setup for WhatsApp is very low sound, so i recommend you to change notification sound, and that would solve your problem. Cheers

He doesnt mean the sound volume, you should use another ringtone for whatsapp messages! You will find this under whatsapp settings/notifications/notification tone
i had a really bad experience with huawei so i exchanged my phone and got a samsung a3 2017 running nougat. and waiting for oreo update. not having any aingle issue.
Hello, how did u menage to activate led notification for missed call or sms?
mine only works with viber...
ty in advance
anyone ?
go to "Settings", try to find "Notification", in result it is "Application and Notification->Notification", 3rd row is switch for LED
actually, i do not have that option
Settings>>apps & notifications>>notifications
I did that and still no led notification, only on viber it works :|
Any update on this? Does it work for everybody/somebody/no one? I tried SMS and Gmail notifications - Ambient display turns on, but LED stays off. It seems that the only time when it's glowing is during charging.
led notification works for Instagram, WhatsApp, telegram
Not working for "missed calls".

I'm on global rom v10.3.6
The notification led works perfectly for sms, missed calls etc.
I had to activate it from settings though.

Yesterday I noticed the LED, but it was only for gmail. SMS messages still nothing. The phone is on the lastest 100% stock EU ROM. Reading topics on MI forum, more people are having the same issue. If I remember correctly, Mi A1 had initially similar problems, but it got fixed after few updates. I guess it's just Xiaomi thing.. When I get another phone for myself, I'll try to check it in more details with root.
