I have the Verizon Moto E 2nd gen LTE xt1528, from what I have read and understand you can unlock the bootloader and install twrp, is there a way I could get a stable custom Rom fully working twrp and working root where the camera works? If so can you please guide me through the process
The Verizon version cannot have its bootloader unlocked. Root and twrp which is a must for custom roms is not currently possible and may never be
My XT1021 have 4.4.4 updated via OTA, can i make a direct upgrade to CM12.1 ?

Hi Everyone, So many moto e 2015 LTE users has been upgraded to 6.0 marshmallow , They didn't find anyway to unlock and customize their device, So Guys anyone know the method to root , unlock bootloader and install twrp in 6.0 marshmallow upgraded moto e 2015 LTE. Unlocking the bootloader is same as for previous versions of official Android rrleases
Note:- Unlocking Bootloader Wipes your Device
After Unlocking Bootloader install Squid TWRP using fastboot
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

As you said I need to use previous bootloader unlocking method after that I need download squid twrp recovery and type command as you mentioned after that i need to flash SuperSU marshmallow , that's correct.

I want to remove twrp recovery from my device. So where do i get the official stock recovery and stock rom for my device.
My device is Moto G5s Plus running on Android 7.1.1.
