Unfortunately .nomedia does not working or if it does with quick pic when placing new files in to the folder they show up.
.facebook does not work also because facebook creates a new facebook folder.

Is there a way to get the gallery to not display all subfolders or another app that can? I have several hundred wedding pictures I moved to my SD card in about 10 subfolders all under one folder called Wedding Pictures. When I open the gallery I can see all the subfolders, I would like to just see the main folder at first. I also tried Quickpic, that isn't displaying properly either.

There is a Gallery folder named after a contact (call him John Smith), named 'JOHNSMITH: j...' in the Gallery.
The folder has 0 pics in it, cannot be selected and deleted or opened.
It appears a few seconds after the gallery opens and only when there is a data connection. It appears even when I've disabled account syncing and deleted the Gallery's cache and data. I've also deleted this person's contact rebooted and added again to no avail.
Could anyone suggest where this folder might be generated? I'm at my wits end.
Thanks
Hi all!Google photos uploads the facebook picture folder to the cloud because it is inside the folder DCIM..how can i solve?thx
I was looking into that a while ago, and the only solution someone suggested was using tasker to move them automatically. There is no way to change the default save folder. The most infuriating thing is that messenger saves them where they belong, in the pictures folder... so why can't they do the same with their facebook app?
What is Facebook?
Is that like a kindle reader?
Will it work on my TV?
Please help.. I am at loss.
