Brave Soul: Simple AOSP 6P Test Build - Nexus 6P General

Hello,
If someone brave wants to test this Simple AOSP build for 6P. leanKernel with aosip/nexus pure sources. I did nothing but build it. Not in developer forum since I am not a developer, or associated with any of the projects I've mentioned.
SAOSP: https://plus.google.com/communities/113769215740955801290

This rom is bad ass! I used it on LP.. I just got all setup on DU or I'd flash. I will follow this as SAOSP is a great rom! Thanks for taking a crack at it.

Thanks. Giving it another try and then will just build it with stock kernel.
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Edit: Building with stock kernel, and IMO I should since I notice all their releases use stock google kernels for nexus devices.
Update: I'm sucking at this.
Update: Still sucking. Hoping symlink commit on build/core/envsetup.mk will solve this sim card annoyance.

Well perhaps this is the non-gingerbread ported NFC. Not that it makes a difference.
i know we got a working nfc enabler already. but has somebody been able to actually use it?? I just want to know for some feed back... back to topic could this mean we are nearing a final ota release?? not that I Care much i dont see me going back to stock rom unless its really stable. Im enjoying my freedom on cm9 even in the nightly stages. and i dont think I can go back to Stock TW after ive experienced apex launcher
Thanks DG!

As far as the thread, people have been able to get NFC tags working as well as Android Beam. So, I'd say most of the things are working except Google Wallet, which on one part, is the most important use for NFC for a lot of us, but that's AT&T's fault, so...
Thank you DG.. it is appreciated

[Q] Cm10.1 Dead?

I know that there's still development on XDA where devs make their own builds of cm10, but it seems like the official nightlies and such have completely halted. Anyone know why? I mean, if you check the logs, there's almost 2000 new changes since the last build, and no update has been released in more than 2 months ...

Copyright issues. The unofficial ones are probably the latest

Copyright issues? But then why is that only a problem for this device and not the gs3 and others?

CM 11 unofficial builds

Hi everyone, I'm new here, so do I do it right? I would like fist thank you QuickS_NL to allow Xperia Z2 owners to install CyanogenMod 11, tank you very much as well as all of you developers that give your time and skills to share with us tech fans.
For you to know QuickS_NL, I tried the new build
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53181770&postcount=72
but it stays stucked on Sony display and don't reach the boot animation.
I will check and try each of future builds you release. Thanks again for the awesome work!

Ah OK, well these builds aren't quite ready for a daily driver as there's a few bugs that are more than just an annoyance, it's getting there though

Do you have also an Xperia Z2? I find that build already very nice, aside the camera and the reboot after each screen lock, I believe all is ok?
Yes I do, yea those and no wifi tethering or kernel options to save battery life. I can't live with having to reboot my phone every time I want to use it, I don't have that kind of time lol, if that was fixed I'd probably use it as my main rom

Ah yes there is as well these small things. For the reboot, yes very annoying but the true is that my main phone is still Z1 and sometime I take a long time to prepare my Z2 to be very NICE (AdwLauncher, my apps, WiFi logins, etc)
As you seem to know well, can you reassure me that all these things I do will remain intact with the various updates until stable? (I hope so..)
Hey, the screen freeze have been fixed all alone on my device! Maybe after tweaking things? (I don't know how that is possible)
Do you want to report it to QuickS_NL?
If you are using anything that prevents deep sleep you won't get the touchscreen bug as it's caused by deep sleep by the looks of it, it's not officially fixed yet, QuickS hopes to have it fixed in the next build

No wonder I can't boot this ROM lol..nah..actually running good
I tried installing twice, but while trying to flash I get this "symlink: some symlinks failed" error executing binary on zip.
Thanks j and all the team... Always great to have a new ROM to try out..
Thanks again...
Very impressed... Great cm based ROM.
One problem I have, is when I try to change the colour of icons/text in fusion settings, it results in fc...anyone else experience this?
Obviously this is a very minor niggle...
Excellent work chaps...?

I can look into it. I think someone else mentioned this. EDIT: It's fixed. It'll be fine in next release. I built too soon lol. And don't worry. The best kernel for nexus 7 2013 will be added soon. Been putting off rebasing because I merged so much incompatible stuff from m and don't wanna fix it all again lol
