Way to Screen Capture Bootloader Screen ? - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So like the title says.. Anyone know a way to screen cap the Bootloader screen ?
I wanted to show a preview of my custom Boot image i posted in the themes section here.
Mainly to show off the newly designed "Captions" top go with the new arrow buttons. i made..
To show people the highlights of what i did mostly visible in that screen.
I know there is a key combo on the Main screen when it's booted up (i forgot what that is though)
Are people just using another phone when they post pic's on the web of the bootloader ?

Wake-up in lock screen: intermediate step..

Hey guys,
got my new s2 yesterday. But experienced a strange effect when waking up the phone from standby (black screen) by clicking the home button - when the phone then goes into lock screen for a short time. the point is, before the lock screen appears (after clicking the button), the display first gets grey/slighty lighted (for a real short time) and not till then the lock screen appears. it's sth like an intermediate step (for a trickle of a second) before the the lock screen appears. it seems as if the display have to lighten up first a bit...not really bright. as if it's dimming up..
how is that with yours? as i remember, my previous s2 went into the lockscreen directly (of course with the usual delay).
you can see this behaviour the easiest when you're in a darker environment.
thanks for your feedback!
btw. fw is kg1 with root-kernel. but already tested other fws..
flo
That's the way it is. No firmware has fixed the issue. Some users say in the latest KG1 the problem is gone but some says not. So don't worry.
u know what i mean? i dont mean the delay..im speaking of that little "pre-flashing" in the display...but its no real flashing cause its not very bright.
checked it again right now. that pre-flashing has some vertical stripes in it which descend to the final lock screen. looks like the lock screen pic would build up a little slower..
anybody know this effect?

A splash screen is an image that appears while a game or program is loading. It may also be used to describe an introduction page on a website. Splash screens cover the entire screen or simply a rectangle near the center of the screen. The splash screens of operating systems and some applications that expect to be run full-screen usually cover the entire screen.

Anyway, somehow I managed to get into CWM (Don't know how, i just kept pressing Power + Volume down) and flash Miui

Full screen mode and pattern lock screen issues

Having two issues with my S9+ I just got today. Hoping someone can help:
1.) Full screen mode - I opened up a game which displayed in the correct resolution, but didn't take up the entire screen. There was a small area of black at both the top and bottom of the screen, so the game was not taking up the whole screen. I turned on full screen mode, which fixed this problem, however, it basically lowered the resolution on the game and it made everything huge. Can't seem to fix this to where my game uses the whole screen and the correct resolution like it should and does on other phones.
2.) Lock screen pattern - On previous android phones, the 9 dot pattern would automatically show up when I pressed the power button to turn the screen on. On this phone, it's not. Also, the 9 dot pattern box is small compared to what it used to be on other phones. I have it set currently to not show the swipe pattern when I swipe in my pattern to unlock the phone, but I'd like to not have to swipe first to get the pattern box to show, as well as make the pattern box bigger. On my old phone (LG V10) there's an option under lock screen settings that says "Hidden Pattern - Show pattern dots when tapping on the screen" that turns it on so the swipe box comes up as soon as you turn the screen on. Can't find this on the new version.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Screen overlay on Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

For the last two days I noticed that I have another screen under my main screen. I dont know how to explain, but its almost like my main screen is see through and I see another layer under it. Everytime I browse or open anything with white screen you can clearly see another layer. Its appears to be large bar on the left side of the screen and 3 buttons on the bottom of the screen (mic, record and idk the third one) I dont know how to post screenshots here, I took couple and would like to post them along with my post, but Im newbie here and cant seem to find attach button anywhere
My phone is Unlocked Galaxy note 8 SM-N950U1
Solution. Update! Found problem
It turns out its my google navigation burned into the screen. I downloaded Burn Test app and looked at icons closer and realized its from Google Maps wilhich I use all day as I am a truck driver. Image of the map just burnt in. Looks like there is no fix for that other than replacing device

Wallpaper problem

I think this is a bug – but it may be a stupid question on my part. Apologies if so. I'm primarily an iOS user on mobile, and the Gemini (which I'm loving so far…) is my first serious experience of Android.
OK, so I was playing with customisation options for my home screen, and although I actually really like the default dark blue starfield background that comes preset on the machine, I decided to swap it for an 'early morning sky' photo that I typically use on all my mobile devices. (It's a photo I took myself years ago, and works really well as a backdrop.)
After touching 'Set wallpaper', I elected to set my new background for both home screen AND lock screen. Fine; that worked OK and looks good. But I subsequently changed my mind and wished I'd stuck with the standard starfield for the lock screen. So I went back to the wallpaper options to change the lock screen only.
At this point I discovered the problem/bug. The thumbnail of the starfield picture is still there to be selected, and if I touch it, it covers the screen like it did before, so everything appears OK. However, when I click on 'Set wallpaper' and choose the option, regardless of what I choose (home screen, lock screen or both), there's a pause and then the starfield vanishes, leaving me with a completely black background. I can set the background image to any new photo that I supply myself without problems, but any attempt to reapply the original starfield graphic fails, which is rather a shame.
Can anyone tell me where I can locate the starfield graphic on the system? I've tried browsing the file system (with hidden files visible) but haven't found it. Or can anyone perhaps supply the file so that I can copy it back to the device if perhaps it only now exists in a cache or some such problem? I'd really like to get the image back.
Thank for any help.

Can confirm I have the same issue after re-flashing with the latest stock Android. Explains why I've still got a black screen!
+1 , same thing seen (or not seen if you prefer lol)

I believe this is a bug. I got around this by a long winded method. I selected the "star field" thumbnail so it covers the screen. At this point I took a screen shot by pressing Fn + R and then you can go to your gallery app, select the screen shot image, crop anything you don't want such as the bar at the top and then set the edited screen shot as your background. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's a good workaround.
