Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 Bricked - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys and gals. Complete noob here. Bricked my Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 while trying to use TWRPManager. Was following a process to get myself to 6.0.1 (cyanogen)?, all the way from 4.3... Jellybean?
I'm lost in the sea of solutions out here.
My phone doesn't turn on, doesn't enter recovery mode after pressing all possible combinations of vol, home & power.
It only makes a USB sound once I insert to PC.
I'll be grateful for any help as I haven't another phone to use for now.
Thanks for your attention.

I'm sorry, but only motherboard replacement will help.
You shouldn't have used a .PIT file just for removing root. Download and Recovery modes don't work, so it's hard hard hard bricked.
Very bad sir :S

I'm sorry but you should blame yourself for this. Even the experienced ones are always very careful when dealing with .Pit file
Send your phone to Samsung repair if your phone is still under warranty.

Yes, stop asking questions have already been asked. There are plenty of topics on this exact topic already, use search.
PS. You have bricked your device. You wont be able to fix without a JTAG repair or mobo replacement. Next time I would suggest using reliable sources for info/instructions and reading correctly before attempting to mess with your device. And again USE SEARCH BEFORE CREATING TOPIC.
It´s dead. But as winter ist coming you can use it as a stylish handwarmer (sorry for you man)

Well as others said, only a new PCB/Logic board, or find a repair center close to you who perform JTAG repair/flash

[Q] S3 wont boot, nor go into factory mode

Hi!
When I was at work today, I had the phone in my pocket, when i took the phone out of my pocket, the phone wouldn't boot properly - it is stucked on Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300. Tried to press both volume up, home and power on at the same time, and held it there for over 10 sec..
It's stock android, with no root.. Any solutions out there for this problem?
Thanks for all help on beforehand!
Best regards,
DanVazz
Try entering download mode (volume down+power+home key)
If you can enter download mode, you can flash a stock firmware....
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium

i had the same problem and the only way to get it to work again is to send it for repair.
there is something wrong with your original software and only a samsung repair station can get it to work again.
Stock firmware with Odin
Try to flash a stock firmware with Odin.
Here is a tutorial including the last stock 4.1.2 (I9300XXELL5):

search for sudden death s3 and half sudden death s3.
some earlier models were shiped with bad flash memory. if flashing via odin won't work, send it to repair, they will change the mainboard.

If the Ace follows the same 'structure' as other Samsung devices, then a USB JIG will get you to download mode without having to use the button combo.....
You simply plug it into the usb port on the device and it will automatically force download mode.
You can get them for 'pocket change' off eBay........
You WILL have to get that button sorted at some point though.......

S3 I9300 HARD Brick/ cant stay in download mode - keeps looping all the time.

Hi XDA uses,
After reading in other threads about hard and soft brick, power button problems, my phone doesent go along the samsung logo and keeps looping and looping until the dattery goes of.
When i touch the buttons to go to download and touch vol, up it goes to looping mode and i can t work in odin.
There is no problem with the usb port or the usb cable.
I read in other threads about starting the mobile from a sd card with bootloader of a S3 Gt I9300...but i didn t find any for mine.
First of all, sorry about any mistakes for my "english skills" (i´m from Portugal), then ...please help me
My phone is a Galaxy S3 model I9300
I can t remember any more specfications.

If you can enter download mode by three button combo POWER+HOME+VOL_DOWN and it does NOT stay there I'd say this is the typical "Stuck Power Button" problem. Many have reported this. Do a quick search, you'll find a lot of hints on it.
