As a user of the Moto X Pure, one of my favorite features is the lockscreen. You can unlock the screen using the motion sensor with the Active Display feature. They also do a great job of displaying your notifications in a way that gives you maximum information at a glance. I've wanted to bring the features of this lockscreen to my other Android devices and I think I've finally found a good solution for that.
AcDisplay is a lockscreen app that's a decent replacement if you're looking to step up your notification game. You'll also have the "Active Mode" which is the same as the Active Display feature from the Moto X. Since the app uses very little CPU power this isn't going to be a battery hog, which was my main concern about an app like this.

Linear Clock adds a whole new way of stylish time display to your phone. The unique linear timeline is a fun and nice variety of other digital or analog clocks which are available for Android.
Make your home screen a bit more linear with the various widgets which you can customize with various themes and scale options, the useful wizards will help you to achieve this without difficulty.
Any comments, suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

The screen size of this phone is going to be a benchmark size for the phones coming next year after Google themselves have gone for a 6" screen. How best do you utilize this massive real estate? Widgets etc that make use of the screen. Will start with mine.

Hi,
as per thread's title, I can't see any difference when switching this setting on. Is it just me?
Thanks for any info.

I does work for me.
If the Display is turned off and you receive a message or whatsapp or email and so on, the display activates and is showing the lockscreen.
If this option is turned off and a msg comes in there is no reaction at all, so the display remains dark. (Other than the sound / vibrate / light etc.)
Well, in this case I can confirm it doesn't work for me.
(Mmmh... now it's more than one thing that's not working...)
Any suggestion? The feature looks quite nice.
OK, it works when setting one lock method at least, I.e. swipe to unlock. I had nothing set before.
Not sure it makes sense, but at least it works.
One of my kids did something to my wife's S3 and tuned on a strange information panel overlay on top of launcher and other parts of TouchWiz, theres a screenshot:

I can't see the image, but is it like this:
If yes then turn off show cpu usage.
Sorry about the image, I fixed it already. But no it has nothing to do with the CPU usage setting.
Found out that it's factory mode. Fixed with http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/fixed-exit-factory-mode-t2424015

Dorch - Dual TorchIts been a while that some newer devices devices now have both Front and Back flash for capturing photos so there but be an app for toggling both of them as torch.
Background:
I recently bought Moto Z Play that had both front and back flashlight but i couldn't find an App that can toggles both of them at same time in store (or maybe I am bad at searching), so I developed one.
Its just a clean simple app that serves the purpose of flashlight toggling and nothing else.
