Hello
Is there an app that shows song lyrics on screen while the music player is open? I have latest version of cyanogen installed and am using the music player it comes with. I have tried 'Lyrics App' but it only works online. Plus i have to switch between music and lyrics to change tracks.

I know that Tunewiki does this. It was a nice feature for popular songs, but more obscure lyrics were out of the question. I am on PlayerPro now for the nice Artist and Album picture-seeking abilities and more aesthetically pleasing widgets, skins, etc.
[EDIT] I'm glad you posted this. It made me find "Lyrics App" (free) which shows the lyrics of the song you are listening to. Works with PlayerPro and more!

Player Pro + Lyrics App = can live with it.
I just wish there was an app that can do both !

The motorola connected music player does it..uses tunewiki..if you look in the thread best music player you'll see I linked it

You don't need Lyrics App if you have Player Pro. In Player Pro, while playing song long press the Album Art to get the Lyrics option.

Dudes, connect media player does that!(original music player from motoblur, aka music+ in the atrix)
Try miui player theme in the x10 theme forum its free and works perfect on mine use the black signed on page 5 or there's a blue that doesn't work as good on page 2 I think.

Yes it does but the lyric and the name of the song show up in Chinese letters lol

Can somebody tell me how do i save lyrics for MIUI music player so that ..i can use it when playing a song. i know it can download online but if i want it manually then how do i do it ??

Tunewiki displays lyrics, although I just got an email from Tunewiki saying it won't be available anymore after June 28. I just installed and it displayed lyrics to music that was playing in Google Music app, but the lyrics didn't scroll in time with the song

Hey there i've been trying to find a way to add lyrics to my songs on my galaxy s3 but i only have loseless version of them ( .flac ) and not ( .mp3 ) like most of the tutorials out there.Is there anyway to manually add lyrics on my songs and not automatically because some of my songs are in vietnamese ?

well I am able to add/change lyrics of my flac files with foobar2000 manually on windows. just right-click the song then properties and then add your lyrics to the "Lyrics" section. But I only do that if my automatic lyricsgrabber-plugin (also compatible with foobar) fails.
but I play my music with poweramp and it displays the lyrics correctly, so I don't know if the stock player can display them (and I cannot test it as I deleted it )

sorry I cannot answer you for the stock music player, because I deleted it. In poweramp you also have to click on lyrics
But I remember long ago (1-2 years ) I used jetaudio and it was able to display automatically the lyrics semi-transparent on top of the album cover if you checked the correct setting. But I don't know if this feature still exists
