So I rooted my phone so I could I could install font/language that wasn't available stock. It's been several years now and the phone is locked because too many pattern attempts. Tried reseting via Google account but seem none of my password I could remember works.
I am able to boot into "download mode !!!"
Does this mean I can still revive/reset my BLU?
I remember boot screen had option but this is only green screen with "download mode!!!"
Need help with next step. Maybe this is my opportunity to install lollipop or kitkat.

Hey
So this old i9000 phone came with some Horrible bloatware I wanted to get rid of.
I flashed a stock Rom with Odin, (I've done it many times before on a different i9000)and Wiped Data and Cache afterwards, And 3 different Roms give me this problem:
When the phone finally initializes, Everything keeps Stopping unexpectedly. I've tried to get to enabling ADB to maybe view the logcat but I can't even get to the settings.
I did notice in the recovery mod an error that said something about System/CSC/CEL/system not being accesible (And i'm surprised it's still there after 3 flashes, CEL being the CSC for the bloatware company)
What do I do?
Currently on Stock rom with stock recovery.
Edit:
Okay, I have managed to race through the crashes, Launch the Home app, and enable ADB... so we have that now... "ADB devices" Shows its connected.
Edit2:
They all crash with "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:" Right now Home screen is working but anything i try to run crashes
Edit3: It's like the old Gmail account is HARD CODED to it, What the hell? 3 rom flashes and countless factory reset, The account is still there, I cannot get rid of it.
Hi,
So here's my problem. (Sorry, it's a long story)
I purchased a phone from a french company ("Archos") three months ago. The Android phone was working fine until lately when I've been getting random freezes. When I would scroll on an app (Twitter's Feed, Reddit Homepage), the phone would freeze. The only way to solve this problem was by rebooting entirely the phone. Sometimes, the phone would also freeze at random moments (on the Lock Screen, the Homepage, etc...) with the only issue being to restart the phone.
I tried to factory reset the phone but it kept on freezing, even freezing on the first page of the Android Setup Wizard (The one with the "Welcome" label and the "Get Started" button) preventing me from touching the "Get Started" button. After multiple reboots and factory resets the phone was still freezing randomnly.
One thing to know is that the phone was apparently running Cyanogenmod since it's primary launcher was Trebuchet. So, I tried to install a stock copy of Android Nougat (7.0) hoping it would fix the problem. The thing is, there's no TWRP image available for my device (Archos Sense 55S). Instead, I used an tool name "SP Flash Tool" to flash directly a copy of Android onto my phone (I managed to find one online).
But the problem did not get solved. Now, it's worse. Before, even though the phone kept on freezing on the first page of the Android Setup Wizard, 1/12 of the time, it would let me touch the "Get Started" button and proceed with the rest. Now, it won't let me touch the button at all, it seems like the application is not receiving any input at all. I know the screen isn't broken because the "Enter SIM Card password" prompt works perfectly fine and when I want to turn off the phone, I can easily select "Power Off", "Reboot", confirms "OK" on the "The Phone will restart" dialog box, adjust the volume levels, the screens responds! But on the Android Setup Wizard: nothing's happening.
I am desperate. It feels like I have tried everything. I cannot install anything else (through ADB & Fastboot) since I can't unlock the bootloader because I can't allow OEM and/or USB debugging (I can't access the settings without completing the Android Setup Wizard). My question is there a way to install a custom rom with SP Flash tool? If so, is it recommend? Won't that brick the phone? Or is it too late now, and it's over?
Thank you for your time.
Hi, after playing a lot with my SM-A510F it seems that I managed to brick it I did so many things I barely remember But I believe the important things are:
- I had a custom ROM (with Android 7 if I remember correctly). Playing with the options, I accidentally reenabled OEM lock, which triggere the FRP lock and now I cannot boot it.
- I tried installing a stock ROM (not sure if the proper one) but it failed and now it says "An error has ocurred while updating... Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software"
- I tried installing again TWRP to install ROMs from there but the FRP lock does not allow it.
- I tried installing other ROMs but couldn´t find the appropiate one. With some ROMs it throws the error "Sw check failed, Device 4 Binary 1" And with others "Device 8 Binary 7".
I am currently donwloading some more ROMs from other posts I saw but it will take some, so I would like to get some help as I assume the same problems will persist.
Also, how the hell do I force power off? The things I saw didn´t work. If I press VOL DOWN + PWR it always restarts and goes into the Error screen again.
Thank you for the help!

Yeah... I didn't know what that was until I screwed up. I had some roaming issues and I was checking that everything was OK...

If you can get into download mode it should have a line saying AP SWREV B:? K:? S:?
The B:? Is your bootloader ( binary ) number. You will have to flash this version number or higher. You can not downgrade firmware. Bootloader number is the 5th number from right of firmware being downloaded.
You could try flashing stock firmware and if you know your Google account may let you back in to your system ( requires internet connection ).

Yeah that worked! I tried one of the ROMs I was downloading and followed that numbering that you mention. Thank you very much!! I got tired of trying random ROMs.
So i got a c5018 (snapdragon version) from a friend and i tried to flash a 8.0 oreo rom on it, but it all turned out bad. It all went well and smooth, i used odin(second time i flash on samsung phones) found the update rom here on xda, ulocked bootloader, usb debugging, etc, booted in download mode, etc. All fine until the phone starts. Google play dies, it just dissapears, can't reinstall, or if i succeed to do so, it just keeps crashing, can't find the oem unlock option and i can't reflash using odin. I will specify that i do not have root and all i did was reset and flash. I need help. I tried everything.
My completely stock Pixel 6 has been pretty smooth since the Jan update until I was using Google Maps today and my keyboard wouldn't open in any other app except tapping the search bar in Maps.
So I rebooted my phone.
Now, I'm permanently on a screen that says "Phone is starting...". I cannot enter my PIN. I can access notifications (but they don't populate). If open Settings from notifications, I can't tap anything otherwise it goes back to the "Phone is starting..." screen. I can't switch to the guest user. If I connect a USB and enable file transfer the device doesn't connect (I assume because I haven't signed into the phone). I don't have USB Debugging enabled.
I'm trying to get some photos and videos off the phone that I recorded today before they were uploaded to Google Photos.
Trying everything before factory resetting this piece of garbage.
Here's a video demonstrating things:
It's not bricked. Bricking means it can only be used as a brick, factory reset it will be the easiest thing you can do
Just factory reset it, or flash the ROM with the android flash tool
Android Flash Tool
flash.android.com
try this, make sure you unselect full wipe
After 247 posts, bricked needed defining?
