Hi everyone,
I've just received a Redmi 3 for my girlfriend. I've tried to launch it and was working properly. I turn it off to launch flash menu which didn't work and continue on bootloop. After insulting the seller ROM and 10 tries, i succeed to launch the flash menu, apply a ROM flashing everything with MiFlash (saying "Device is busy"). The soft says that's it has successfully flash the phone, and after 3 different ROMS doing the same things, my phone always crash after 10 seconds on and reboot.
I can't even shut it down, it automatically boot and as the battery is fixed, i can't force the phone to stop trolling me. The only way to shut it down is on flash menu but doesn't change anything. It never crashes on this menu by the way
If someone have an idea, I've tried everythink I know to unbrick it but I failed.
Thanks in advance
EDIT : Now I can't even reach flash menu ... I think the phone is dead
EDIT2 : I unlock my phone thanks to this guy (4. Soft Brick) http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=222460&pid=4168155 but still have my problem :/

Hello guys, i will post the step-by-step of what i did. I rooted my 2.3.6 VIVO (Brazillian carrier) using Super One Click. Then i installed ROM Toolbox PRO and started changing my notification bar icons, started with 3g, and every change he prompted me to reboot, but i ignored one time and tryed to make more than 1 change per 'boot trip' and then it gave me some exception errors and force close messages in spanish or french, now i dont remember. Then the phone entered in a bootloop and cant get out of the M logo. I then did factory reset and cleared the cache using fastboot menu and managed to connect on RSD lite, but tryed nothing besides connecting to the RSD...
Now the fastboot or the 'starting RSD protocol' screen dont appear anymore, i have pressed the volume buttons in all manners that one can press and it only shows the red M logo and stays on it forever... I probably bricked it, but how? Knowing that i did only the above?
Does anyone know a tool or another way to try to flash it back or anything else that can get my phone back to action?
What is really bugging me out is that i cannot access fastboot menu or RSD anymore! HOW?!?
Thanks for anything guys!
The phone was working normally, but out of nowhere, it started to reboot in a loop. It turns himself alone from the moment i put the battery, the MIUI logo comes up and reboots after 2 or 3 seconds, repeating this over and over.
I can access to the TWRP and i already changed to 3 different roms, did a wipe in all times, however the issue is still present. The On/Off button is not stuck for sure, so i already ruled out that option
I'm really trying no to go to the warranty, due to the fact it was bought in China, so i don't expect nothing good from them
If someone has an idea, please , i really appreciate.
Hi,
When you use TWRP, you have to wipe all : data, internal memory, cache...
Download official rom from MIUI forum : you can use Fastboot, I think it's better solution than TWRP...
Good luck

Hi, thanks for the advice but i cannot even access to the Fastboot, because after entering in fastboot mode the phone reboots again. However it doesn't reboot with TWRP.
Hi,
A friend has a brand new Redmi Note 2 and after few hours the phone been bricked, so I flash by following this tuto > en.miui. dot .com/thread-187696-1-1.html
It works !
2 weeks later the phone bootloop again, so we followed this tuto again but didn't worked. It was pretty hard to access the Flashboot menu, seems the vol buttons were not working. Sometimes we reached the boot menu, but the phone was freezing on the menu and booted again.
Finally I reached the flashboot, I wiped it successfully !
But nope, the phone is still bootlooping.
Any ideas ? Of course today he tried to go to the shop, but the "professional" said him he never heard about this brand and this problem, so he can't fix it...
Cheers
Use Flash Tool and flash Recovery again
I've flash again and still bootlooping ..
I can't access the storage part on the phone.
Is it possible to put a rom custom ?
The phone try to load something but still loading ...
Have you try a full wipe that means that all data is deleted ? What Firmware have you installed ? What Recovery is on your phone ?
Hello
Yesterday i have recieved the Pepsi (Koobee) P1S. it was full of bloatware so i decided to flash a modded rom. After i realized that this custom rom is only in english and chinese (Im German) i wanted to switch back to the original. But then i made the biggest mistake: I have flashed the false rom (CM for Mt6592 CPU but false Smartphone). After that i have flashed the right original rom again. but a strange Error appears: the Phone boot up normaly and then freeze and reboot by itself..over and over again. But not at the same step. Sometimes it freeze during the Bootanimation..sometimes it boot up completly and i can swipe through the Screens (for about 10 sec). When i push the standby button (Display went off) the Phone stays in this mode and dont freeze.
the i flashed TWRP and try to wipe the phone. Even in TWRP it freeze, but not during the wipes or in the Boot Mode slelect screen.
I Have a friend with the same phone. Is it possible to copy a complete backup (eMMC etc) to my phone? Or someone had a Idea what i can try next? I have flashed different roms (for this phone) so many times, but the error is still there.
Please help me.. It should be a present for my GF birthday today
SOLUTION
I downloaded the flashtool that flashes MTK Devices then searched google for Pepsi p1s needrom and downloaded the original firmware scatter file, turn off the P1S unplug it from USB,...Start the flashtool, and search the firmware will be second search bar select search and browse your computer for the firmware you downloaded from needrom, then you will see it load all the files.....there is a button bar that has an arrow open the arrow and select firmware update, then hit the green go button after you hit the green go button plug in your powered off PEPSI P1S ....it will give you a red bar on the flashtool at bottom first, then it will format your device properly, then install all the necissary files, its real quick about 3 minutes, after a box will pop up on the screen and say OK with a big check mark, at this point you can unplug your phone, power it up and wait about 3 minutes, everything will be normal again. So sorry I would post the links however I forgot my password and username that I was using for many years and forgot my recovery email as well.....so if you google it you can find the stuff, just hope I helped with the proper method of flashing......good luck, let me know how it goes.
Thanks but i know how to flash the firmware with SP Flash Tool. i have flashed the P1S with 3 different roms..but always the same error (freeze and reboot at different points)
Are you using download mode? Or firmware update? The reason I ask is download mode always gave me a bootloop, but when switched to firmware update mode it formats the device correctly and fixes the file structure, try firmware update mode.
Im using "Format All + Download"
Try using firmware update mode, let me know what happens.
same problem...freeze (at different points) ans reboot.
here you can see what happen:

try this! P1
power off
then hold power button + volume down
the boot mode will appear
select recovery
it will show you no command
then pres power button first and the press volume up
now you device is on recovery
then select
wipe data/factory reset.

I have noted one thing.
when I update supersu to play store and reboot it goes in bootloop.
so I recommend not to upgrade or even to make unroot just after removing apps with viruses
Hello community,
I haven't posted here before, so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.
I have a problem with my Neffos X1 and after browsing the internet for hours nothing helped so far, so I hope some of you can help me out.
My phone is stuck in a bootloop since yesterday evening. I haven't done any updates or new installations recently, so it just happened out of the blue. It loads till the Neffos logo and then restarts over and over again.
Since I can't take the battery out, I tried letting it run out of energy and then restart, but as soon as I connect it to a power source the bootloop will start again.
I read a lot about getting it in recovery mode or to try and flash it, but no matter what combination of buttons I try, nothing is happening. The phone basically doesn't react to anything and just keeps restarting. The only thing I noticed is, that when pushing both volume keys the screen will just stay black (no restarting), but after letting go the bootloop will start again.
I tried flashing it via SP Flash Tools, but the phone also doesn't react to it.
Lots of troubleshooting guides also require, that I have rooted my phone in the past, unfortunatly I haven't. I also read about unlocking the bootloader, but since my phone isn't reacting to any buttons and my laptop also doesn't seem to recognize my phone (probably because it doesn't boot proberly), that doesn't seem like a solution either.
To summarize: I'm stuck in a bootloop with no recovery mode, no rooting, no unlocking bootloader, probably can only use my laptop to do anything remotely.
So, is there anything you can think of, that might help me get out of the bootloop? Or ideas of what I may did wrong when trying the other solutions?
Thanks for any help in advance.
Same problem
I have the same problem, I have tried all kinds of soft reset and nothing is working I also opened the phone to check if anything was not connected properly, but everything seems fine except for that infinite loop. Please help!

Try this
Download phone's Stock Firmware onto your personal computer.
Install the USB MTK Drivers - NOT ANY OTHERS (skip if you have them already installed).
Download and Launch the Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool)
Click the Scatter-loading button to navigate to the Stock Rom you just downloaded.
Select the Scatter File from the extracted Stock Firmware on your computer.
Select the Download Only in the SP flash tool option
Click the Download button to start the Formating process.
Connect your phone via USB to the computer>> holding volume + and volume – button of your phone at the same time or holding power button only so that the flashing process will starting working
Patiently wait for your device to be formatted.
After the formatting is done, a Big Green button will pop up on the SP Flash to show that.
Unplug phone and boot it up.
If you have a boot loop after booting your device, boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset.
Voila, you are all good.
