Hello
I have Lg P710 II phone rooted. Yesterday I deleted probably settings.apk. I knew that I have to be aware when I'm using rooted Android, but it happend.
I can't enter into settings, I was trying to do factory reset but I'm stuck at the "Unfortunately, settings has stopped". I can't even run my phone in download mode.
I hope you can handle this issue.

Hi! I unrooted my Optimus Chat (LG C555) with SuperOneClick then installed a few apps, one being (ROM Toolbox Lite) then I deleted 2-3 meaningless factory apps such as Blutooth, LG Market.. and rebooted doing a factory reset through the software because somehow it's what it did when I asked to backup my current ROM.. then when the unit rebooted I got greeted with a black screen, only the toolbar on top and I get the following message:
(The application Setup Wizard (process com.android.setupwizard) has stopped unexpectedly)
Once I close it there's nothing I can do to go in settings. I tryed a hard reset with the buttons but it keeps doing the same thing in a loop. I can't believe the unit looks to be bricked only because of 2-3 useless apps that I deleted. Is there anything I can do to make it work? I tryed (Android Commander) but it doesn't see the unit. SuperOneClick won't work anymore, I cannot hear a USB sound when I plug it in my computer and LG programs see it but when I click the (SOS Recovery) it try to download something but just fail everytime after 35 seconds with an unknown fatal error so there's no way at all to reset it and restore the factory apps on the internal memory. Hell I didn't even see a single custom rom that showed my cellphone in the compatibility list as if my cellphone didn't exist though it came out 2 years ago.
Is it good now for garbage or there's some special trick I could try to recover it? I wasted 9-10 houres already I'm gonna get crazy! Please help.
Hello,
I've gotten a lot of help from y'all over the years, but this is the first I've had to ask for anything specific. I bought my daughter an LG L34C (Optimus Fuel) for Christmas, running Android 4.4, kernel version 3.4.0+; it's unrooted and locked--there hasn't been time to do anything to it. She went to put a pattern lock on it, and when she tried to change the screen lock, the message popped up, "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped." I thought it might be possible to fix this by rooting the phone, so I came here and found the link to towelroot. When I tried to install tr.apk, it blocked the install--the phone is (of course) set to block installation of apps from unknown sources. Hit "Settings," and "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."
Is a factory reset the only thing that's going to fix this? (If so, at least she hasn't had time to do much with it.) Or do any of you have any other ideas?
Hi guys, i really need help to fix a friend's phone.
He has a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit t599n, with the stock rom, without a custom recovery but rooted.
The problem is that he got a malware (com.nb.superuser) and for getting rid of it we did a hard reset on the phone, but, after rebooting it it starts the Setup Wizard, but after choosing the time and date and tapping into next it says "Samsung Setup Wizard has stopped" and it throws the phone back to the language selection.
We have tried not changing any setting, reseting the phone, making another factory reset.
So far i have searched for bypassing the wizard with no results, i have also searched for how to install a recovery using adb (for installing a custom rom latter), but the other problem is that when i plug the phone into the pc it beeps but the pc doesnt detect it (yes, i have installed the drivers), kies doesn't, and odin doesn't either.
So, any suggestion? some way of bypassing the wizard?, or maybe installing a recovery, or maybe something else?.
ok, tell you this.
my unit is LG L4 E440 Optimus II.
first it something pop up to my screen says, "settings unfortunately stopped".
I panicked! I decided to Restore Factory Reset my phone but eventually it cant install wizard because the settings was crashed.
I let my phone off for many days. and when I open it again an icon of LG and security error flashing on my sreen. sometimes it is on a loop.

Hi, I just recently found my old 2013 Moto G. I unlocked the bootloader and installed cyanogenmod on it. When I unlocked it it said the "Unfortunately, Google Play Service has stopped" So from there since it was an old phone and I had nothing to loose on it I just whent to settings and restored to factory settings. Of course that didn't fix anything and now I'm stuck at the activation screen and no way to get out since I get the "Unfortunately, Android Keyboard (AOSP) has stopped." Therefore I can't type! Please let me know if you need any more details. Thanks for the help!
