Ok guys, I´ve read all the tutorials about flashing a original firmware. Used KDZ and the correct ROM, but´s something is going wrong.
The KDZ log program says: FINISHED, OK... the cellphone reboot´s normally, and start charging battery. Then, when I turn on the cellphone, it keeps showing "ANDROID" and dont start.
Any sugestions?
Sorry for my poor english.
Thx in advance.
FIXED
1) Install LG Mobile Software, from LG suport page. (B2CAppSetup.exe)
2) Connect your phone, USB
3) Run LG Mobile software updater, and update from V10a to V10b.
4) Have fun with your unbricked cellphone ;D
I was wondering how to this.
I was flashing Killjoy's performance scripts (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2411161). After flashing the file and choosing to reboot, for dumb reasons I chose to disable recovery flash when it asked to reboot. Now, when I go to LG setup, once I'm done, I get the message that "lg setup wizard has stopper working" and loops me back to the start of the setup. Please help!:crying:
I know L9 is virtually unbrickable. I just need to be pointed in the right direction and I know I can bring it back!
Edit: Issue resolved!
Did you by any chance uninstall it using titanium backup or similar? Try to get a logcat.

I guess he can't use none of the applications as he is stuck in the wizard. Try reflasing a stock ROM using kdz: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085344

Yea, this is the case. Can't get out of it. I really don't know how in the world did it uninstall itself. I didn't use Titanium Backup at all. After flashing the killjoy zip file, I chose to reboot. I then got a warning:
"ROM may flash stock recovery on boot. Fix? THIS CAN'T BE UNDONE" I then get 3 options to chose from: "No", "Yes - Disable recovery flash, "++Go Back++
I chose yes, and then all went haywire. Is there a way I can determine my phone's connection type via computer? I tried flashing V20D using the KDZ offline method, but it won't progress. It says "Phone not connected." Last I recall, I left the connection on media sync (MTP, I think it's its acronym). Since I'm on JB, I know it needs to be in LG Software Mode.
I have faced this issue too, even if I entered into SW Upgrade mode manually, KDZ did not detect my phone :/
However, I had success using the official LG updater software (connected my phone in SW upgrade mode).

Was your phone recognized by your computer? Because mine isn't. Think you can tell me more or less the steps you took to make it work?
Here's what I've tried so far:
1. downloaded most updated LG drivers
2. downloaded official LG mobile support tool
3. ran it, no effect.
4. downloaded LG pc suite, based on troubleshooting.
5. tried lg mobile support tool again, no good. Said connect PC to internet (???)
6. tried LG mobile support tool from shtttps from offline flash method, no good.
7. Put phone on SW upgrade mode (removed battery, volume up, put battery back in) and retried offline flash method again, halts at 15%. Says that phone isn't connected. It was set on DIAG since it's JB software.
8. Tried recovery update, but phone isn't recognized even if I put IMEI number in.
Thanks!
Flash a ics kdz... should work..

You have forgot to remove the lines you added at the end of your hosts file. Remove them, reboot your PC and then try again with the official tool.

Finally i managed to get the phone in SW upgrade mode, then i tried to flazh the kdz following this tutorial http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f77...h-any-lg-factory-rom-kdz-offline-fix-1736209/
Everything ok, the program recognize the phone and start to flash, but as before the phone turns of and the process fail.
Considering that the phone stop working after turn it off removing the battery, there is the posibility that the battery or the phone is damaged ?
Hi andr_oid, the link you've provided is just a copy of "our" @cmahendra's link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36351786
You could try with other battery, but I think that's not your problem.
Cheers. Good luck.

Can you please share with me how did you manage to get your phone in SW upgrade mode, I am undergoing the "Remote partitons does not exist" problem too.
Hi, first of all i think my issues had already been solved
but for other LG smartphones, not D618.
My problem occurred when I playing around with hidden menu, and I hit reset button on the FOTA menu,
and then my phone restart and stuck in a screen that I never seen before, the screen show three line of text:
● FOTAFS_Open/cache/fota/log/FSUA_LOG_000.txt, 0, No such file
● FOTAFS_Create/cache/fota/log/FSUA_LOG_000.txt, 66, No such file
● FOTAFS_Close 0
So I googled about that and I found on a Vietnamese forum that it can be fix using LG FlashTool. But the problem is the tool need a correct .dll file for each device and I can't find anywhere the exact .dll file for LG G2 Mini D618. So if anyone could provide me the file I will be very thankful coz my phone been dead for 1 day.
I already tried flashing the kdz file, but no luck.
I tried to sideload stock recovery via adb but adb didn't detect my device.
Please help me solving this
Can you turn the power on your d618 for now? and what the displayed of the screen?

You don't need any .dll , the LG FlashTool is designed for all LG smartphones, just follow my guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/general/guide-revert-to-stock-lg-softwareeasy-t2824479 , if you have any additional questions feel free to ask. , hope you're gonna fix your phone.

No, I'm still using stock recovery, the phone is rooted.
Yes I can get in to the download mode, I already tried flashing kdz and usually if the bootloop is on the lg logo, it can turn back on normal, but now it keep booting on that screen.

i got same error too at the first flash. i think the firmware is corrupted. retry to download the firmware,i hope you can successfully flashing the firmware
Now my phone turn back on to normal, I finally took it to the LG service center, and they replaced my motherboard.
So if any of you guys experienced the same, I'm telling you there's no software solution to fix this, it seems because I rooted the phone and somehow it lock the motherboard when it trying to perfomed a FOTA update.
I have a LG V10 F600L running on Android 5.1.1.
I bought this phone used and when I bought it, it was already rooted. I don't have any experience with this sort of thing and I don't really want my finances to be burdened with replacing a phone if I accidentally brick it.
I know its a lot to request but can anyone take the time tell me how exactly I should proceed? What steps should I take? what guides I should follow? etc.
I have literally never touched the technical aspects of a phone's OS and firmware, etc. in my life before. But I really do want to update and will follow all instructions and precautions.
Thank you in advance

theres 3 ways i beleive . ive only used KDZ file buton G4.
first one is to go to settings/ then go to about phone in there check for software update.. make sure you have full battery. and check for updates.. if you find something calle V30 thats nougat if its V20 its MM. and V10 its LP.
the other its to download LG bridge.. you connect your phone and i beleive it should scan for updates or you manually find the update software somewhere .. never used this program..
the other is to manually do it. download the KDZ for you F600L youll get a zip file... then unzip it.
then search for LGUP. follow instructinos to install its only 2 files.. install .dll and program i believe..
then turn off phone.. back up all needed files or pictures
once phone turned off pres vol up.. then insert usb cable.
open LGUP and upgrade should be ticked.. theres a box there and i think bin is ticked.. un tick it... next to it 3 dots click on that and it should allow you to browse for file .. find the KDZ you downloaded and selected the unzipped file. once selected you should see the name of
KDZ there.. now close program... then open it again.. this time tick refurbished.. and click start.. let it finish takes like 15 mins or less.
KDZ files choose the correct variant for your phone.. https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v10/general/lg-v10-f600l-f600k-f600s-android-n-7-0-t3611676
ive only used the LGUP method..
good luck
is there any real danger of bricking my phone?
Also, how do I do it so that I can root my phone too?
