I've got myself new HP touch pad with Web OS. Now I need to connect my External HD/ Pen drive / Wireless Data card to TP. I've got myself USB hub, which is powered externally. So I connected the data cable (Micro) provided with the TP to the Hub and I connected my External HD to Hub but I couldn't detect the HD in TP.
So could any one please help me with the steps/ Procedure.

You need to get power to it. There's a thread about this here somewhere.... search should turn it up.
This thread shows you how to get it working in Android/CM9. I never tried it from within WebOS.

I finally got my "2007" macbook pro to recognize my samsung S3 as a disk drive. Anyways, now i'm facing a slight issue, when AFT loads it kills my other USB ports. for example if i have my mouse plugged in, my mouse will stop working. I'll have to unplug and plug it back in, sometimes i have to do that 2 -3 times. The other day my keyboard and touchpad stopped working, which forced a reboot. Anyone else faced issues like this? and is there a fix?
running OSX 10.6.8
I have the following problem.
I have installed Remix OS on my laptop HP Elitebook 8440p - Intel i5 and Intel HD
I do use the original HP Docking station where I connect my laptop through HDMI.
This set up works just great with Windows 7 which I control it using my Microsoft all-in-one media keyboard
I have installed Remix OS and the laptop goes to sleep when I press any key on the keyboard.
I found out that if I open the laptop and use its keyboard and touchpad Remix OS works just great.
If I connect it to my TV it shows the desktop but It goes to sleep immediately. The TV shows "no signal"
If I press the power button it resumes for a few seconds but goes to sleep immediately
Any ideas?
So my problem. Its old and the hdmi port is jacked up so when i plug it in it shorts out the system and turns off the laptop. So my problem. When i have it plugged in and boot up like i would for windows but remix will not boot. It goes all thr way through the remix logo and then refuses to turn in the monitor.
Hi, just installed remix os on my laptop sony vaio, it it awesome but I have serious issues.
USB ports are not working, intergeated SD card slot, cameras and keyboard cover(which runs on USB) are not working too.
Anyone with the same issue? Thanks.
