I have a HTC desire 620g with KitKat 4.4.2. When gallery is set to grid view, the videos show thumbnail animation as a quick preview. I have seen this on other KitKat phones. But this is not present in my moto g3 on both lollipop and marshmallow(both stock and cm versions). Can anybody please tell me if it is an OEM feature or AOSP? Can i get similar previews in my marshmallow with any 3rd party gallery app? Thanks in advance[emoji1]

I have the same problem with my Moto g4 plus. I've tried Quick Pic and Gallery ICS. I really want animated videos in the grid view of my picture gallery. I had it in Jelly Bean on a THL T11 and liked it. Is this just a Motorola issue or does anyone else not have animated thumbnail video previews?

I did some searching, tried some suggestions (most were for other android phones), but didn't work for me.
Right now if I take a photo with the camera app and click on the photo review. It takes me to the the 1 photo per page gallery. Is there some way for it to display multiple photos like in the stock Samsung gallery?

hi guys i am having troubles in viewing images using any image related apps. from gallery to quickpic all of them have bugs in viewing pictures. if i have 100 images stored on my s3, my s3 will only show 40 of the pictures with thumbnail preview others are all blank, and if i open the pictueres with no preview. i will also see black image, my s3 will not show the image. has anyone encountered this problem?

I know that there's GIF cameras on the market, but I haven't seen any where a) you can "scrub" the areas of the image that you want to animate and b) the image is post-processed to loop seamlessly.
Are there any apps on the market that mimic this functionality? It's the only thing I really miss from the touchwiz ROM.
I have a galaxy s3 running aosp 4.2.2 and I was wondering if I could use a different gallery with the camera so that when I swipe to go to the gallery it goes to quickpic rather than the stock 4.2 gallery
I have a Micromax Magnus A117. I rooted it today. I wanted to get a Photo sphere option on my camera so I uninstalled my existing gallery and installed the .apk file, that I found in one of the xda forums and now, although the gallery works and camera also work, but I can't find the Photo Sphere option in the camera at all. I have three options that is Panorama, camera and video, only these three options are there. Now I am not able to understand why this is happening. My android version is Jelly Bean 4.2.
