Can you create an ISO from a file directory on Android? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello XDA community.
I want to know if there is a way to create an ISO from a file directory on your Android.
For example, I have a file directory on my Android device, and I want to create an ISO of the directory only using my Android device.
The reason I want to know if I can use just my phone, and no PC is because years ago I copied all of my DOS games over to my PC by literally copying the contents of the CD to my PC, and not the proper way.
I setup BitTorrent sync to share my DOS game directory, and I am trying to avoid the step of going to my PC >> creating an ISO image of the game I want to play on my Android device (I use Magic DosBox) >> adding the ISO to the BitTorrent file directory >> going to my Android device >> downloading the ISO.
Thanks for any help you guys and gals can give me!! ^_^

Hello,
is there a possibility to share a directory on android for other clients?

The only way that I know is share a directory using Dropbox, but you'll need upload the files from your AVD to that directory manually.

[Q] Hello all my best friends around the WORLD. I need your HELPs. THANK YOU FIRST

Firstly, I'M so SORRY for my BAD english! Sorry but please help me. I use android mobile phone.

But i only can RUN and COPY (READ) but i can't edit or rename or create new folder in these SHARED folders/files. (the error is: "Operation failed. Access is denied")
Ex: i only can play my movies in my D Drive in PC but i can't rename these movies names. HOW CAN I DO THAT?
HOW CAN I WRITE IN MY SHARED DRIVERS/FOLDERS in my PC/laptops using ES FIle explorer through network/Lan.

[Q] adb can't open my files even though they are in the right folder

Hello,
I have installed ADB and the whole Android SDK to root my asus transformer infinity (tf700t). I have taken all the steps every forum on the web describes: installing everything trough the manager, adjusting the path in the System Variables, and finally it getting it to work together with my tablet. However, when I try to flash/copy/install files from my folder (yes these files are in the same folder as adb.exe and fastboot.exe, which is the folder I used in the System Variables) It can't either find these files or it cannot open these files.
When i put in the command 'path' however. I does give me the path where the files can be found.
Does anyone know where the problem may be?
Help would be much appreciated.
Seppe
Try again and this time copy and paste full input/output from terminal/cmd here

[Q] Access folder by PC

Hey guys!
I have a problem ...
I use an app for courses (Udemy) and it have the option to download courses for offline watching.
Did it. I can watch the app offline, but wanted to move to the PC. I found the files in the folder:
android / data / com.udemy.android / files / udemy-final-downloads
Within this folder I have several folders, each containing one video of the course. The problem is that when plug the mobile in PC most of the files do not appear.
In short: I can see all the phone but the PC does not appear the most.
I've tried with linux and windows. Already asked to view hidden files and resolves nothing.
Has anyone had similar problem?
Obs.'s Mobile phone is a Moto X.
Thanks Guys!

Move the files or folder to your highest directory. Should be something like /storage/emulated/0. FYI, your device has to be unlocked (meaning PIN or pattern or password or whatever) to open anything on the phone on your PC.

That's weird. How about uploading them to cloud storage, like DropBox or Google Drive?
I tried it too. The files are very big 4.8 GB and always stop. I'll try do it littke files at time.
Send to PC over Bluetooth?
Delete and re-download them to a location of your choosing?
Copy via PC or SDCard
You can locate the folder as you did, thus:
android/data/com.udemy.android/files/udemy-final-downloads
copy it to memory card or flash using otg if your device supported it. Otherwise, you copy it to your PC, I used Ubuntu to copy the folder. Afterwards open and rename each course (file) accordingly, but is a very tiresome task.
Hope this will help.

I have the same problem.
My course has 297 lectures
I could copy only the first 222.
I ran ls -l from terminal as su to check the sequence - they are downloaded in sequence - and I am using the time sequence to rename them in order numerically
How to download Udemy videos and convert it to any formats to play

What protocol are you accessing the files from your PC? Are you using MTP, MSC, etc...?
May i suggest that you install ES File manager, use it's remote manager (which uses ftp) to check if you can see the files.
Personaly for transfering files between my Droid and my PC, because MTP is so utterly slow I use an app called "MTP-alternative" which allow you to tranfer files over USB but uses the Wedav protocol and is really quick. (if it works, bear in mind that when transfering files to your mobile it copy them in /data/local/tmp which gives the impression that the files aren't transfered to your mobile)

Hey, i realize this is very late but i hope my answer will help others. I had to do something simillar and i found a very simple work around. all you have to do is download winrar or any other app that can archive files/directories. Use the app to make an archive of the Final Downloads folder which contains all the other nested folders with the videos in them. Now you can connect your phone to your computer and transfer the .rar or .zip file over and extract it on your desktop.
Thanks for your answer, this is worked for me. The problem is solved now.

Bluestack: How can I transfer files into folders in SDcard w/o using SharedFolder?

Hello,
I am facing a problem and maybe you can help me.
How can i access a folder within the SDcard of Bluestacks with my Windows Explorer?
For example: I have a folder directing to and called SDcard/Games and I want to transfer files from the Windows Explorer directly to THAT specific folder and not by using the SharedFolder.
The thing is that on Regedit you can change the Key defining the Path Bluestacks accesses files on your PC in Windows Explorer, but there is no way to change the pre-defined Path which directs from the PC (Windows Explorer) to Bluestack's SharedFolder.
Basically I just want to set my own Path to which my files I transfer from Windows Explorer to Bluestack are send and not the one that comes with installation (SDcard/windows/SharedFolder)
