Flashing a stock rom will wipe automatically all inside the phone, you can also do it manually through recovery by choosing what to want to wipe or not

Thanks for your help. just wondring if there is any sofware to perform this task.
Yes for sure! Just go on sammobile.com and download the firmware version that suits you're device, and then flash through Odin that's all you need.

Use smart switch on your laptop.
Can reset / restore back latest firmware
and phone will be like it just out of the box
With 6.0.1 marshmallow. Lose root and everything
back to stock

please help, can anyone give me odin, file .pit for samsug galaxy young gt-s6310. i want to flashing my phone now and i've file firmware onepackage and how to i get full package?
Hello @ocoot
You can find Odin Flashable Firmware Packages here:
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-S6310
I think .pit file is not needed
yes. it solved 3 days ago
do you know where i could find Odin files for Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S6310? Meaning, I need the Pit, Bootloader, PDA, Phone, and CSC files. I tried finding them in google. no luck. I guess because the phone was just released last March 2013.
Lastly, I need help if USB Jig could also fix my phone because it wont turn on. The fact that it wont turn is that, I partitioned my SDCARD and rebooted the phone, and then, it wont turn on. I tried the 3 button thingy, it wont. I ordered one USB Jig to try out to boot it to Download Mode if it could. But if I succeed, i need the files for Odin to flash it to stock ROM.
Cheers and God bless everyone!

Is that simple ? You can ensure me that the CM 12.1 ROM and kernel are compatible with stock 5.1 modem firmware ?
My question was not how to get a android 5.1 rom flashed on my phone , I know how to do this (I flashed slimsaber rom as I said)
Will git it a try anyway it's not that long to check it, but if you can confirm data network will work it would be nice
thanks for your quick answer

I have been on stock 5.1 too. Following that, I flashed uncountable LP ROMs and data worked in all of them. Now I am on CM12.1. It's the smoothest ROM out there. Make sure you wipe system. Once I faced data problem and after wiping system, it was solved. Also, the following commands fix some radio related problems (GPS and all, I don't really know but running these won't harm in any way):
Code:
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
DO NOT RUN ANY OTHER ERASE COMMANDS OTHER THAN THE TWO ABOVE.

No I tried SlimLP but not Slimsaber. SlimLP had bugs so I left it.
Suggestion: Go for official ROMs. They regularly get updated and bugs keep getting fixed. CM is the best. It's clean and flawless.
thanks for your suggestions nilanko ! i just flashed cm12.1 official and .... daga network is ok. but i am o holiday with poor gsm network and receiving google 2 factor code by sms to activate google play is pure madness .... will have to wait to be back at work in few days to install it real

How is Stock android 5.1 as compared to CM12.1 and what difference did you found in both?
Please share the link of Stock 5.1 as I am on 4.4.4 and would like to give it a try before putting CM12.1 as 12.1 is still not stable ROM?

Hey guys, so I have this S6 Edge SM-G925I from Brazil.
The phone was working properly and then I decided to reset it to it's factory settings.
Once I did it, the sim card stopped working. The phone simply doesn't recognize it.
I've searched for the problem multiple times in here and I found about the IMEI and Baseband.
My Imei is set as ''null'' and my baseband as ''unknown''.
After another round of searching, I found about flashing a stock firmware to it.
So I did it.
I downloaded the rom ''G925IDVU3EPC6_G925IZTO3EPCB_G925IDVU3EPC2_HOME'' from sammobile and flashed it.
Then I got a drk problem, which was solved by flashing TWRP to it and a new kernel. I used ''arter97-kernel-g925fi-13.1''
My phone started to boot again. However, same problem. No sim card detected, null IMEI and unknown baseband
Tried to use the Smart Switch recovery tool but I got the same problem with it.
Note 1: I do have the original IMEI and it's not blacklisted or things like that. So what I want is just a way that I can put my original IMEI number back in.
Note 2: I don't have .efs folder backup. I know I'm stupid. You don't need to state that
Is there any good souls that can help me out there?
Thanks guys and sorry for any grammatical mistakes.
i have same problem with the kernel Mystery-Kernel-S6-Edge-3.0-(2016.04.14)
install the stock rom its working
Baseband
That's a problem with the Baseband firmware, you gotta download a modem tar or zip, you can flash it with Odin via CP button.
It shoulda be compatible with your rom, it may be different between builds.
Kind regards.
Baseband
I have a modem tar for your version but I'm not so sure, you can try it at your own risk.

Flashed it but still no success. Baseband remains unknown and Imei remains null
Still wasn't able to fix it... No one?
Do you have a efs backup?? That folder contains everything needed for your imei

I have the same trouble but with SM-G925i, do you know how to repair it?
Please, help.
Meu zap. 32988899021
Although the topic is old, I'm trying to solve this problem (in 2022 =/).
Did anyone here make it?
I am using the Le Max 2 in the U. S. and it doesn't have any system update button in settings. When I download official rom 5.9.021, rename it update.zip and open it in file manager to update, it goes into recovery mode, starts to extract., but stops after 45 seconds and says that file is corrupt.
If I do a factory reset, what will I lose in the function for 4G lte in the U. S.? Will I then be able to upgrade with the official rom? I have already backed up all of apps to another storage device. Love the phone, but it would be nice to be able to update it.
Anyone help will be well appreciated. Thanks.
If you have the vendor rom 5.9.016, the only way to update is flashing first twrp as recovery. Then you can install any rom you want, stock or custom.

There isn't. You need to update using the guide that is in the guides subforum.

Well said! TWRP comes first, then you can flash any stock/custom ROM that you like.
I just downloaded and reupload newest Beta rom for Mi8. And it's official Global beta rom from Xiaomi
https://www.fshare.vn/file/HWUAJL4J2EJ9
Update direct link:
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.8.7/dipper_global_images_8.8.7_20180807.0000.00_8.1_global_7839c6d8e6.tgz
TWRP 3.2.3
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...45805528068853
For install this rom. You must have unlocked Bootloader using Xiaomi unlock tool. Then download rom and Xiaomi flash tool. Turn your device to fastboot mode by: turn off => hold vol down + power button. Open Xiaomi flash tool. Extract rom with winrar. Choice rom folder in Xiaomi flash tool. Refresh and click Flash and wait. If you don't need root your device then just let it boot in to system.
Else, if you need root. Do this:

the face said:
Short tutorial:
Unlock Bootloader if not already unlocked (IMPORTANT otherwise you´ll brick your phone)
Unzip and flash Fastboot rom using Miflash (at the bottom right choose the clean install option, make sure you DO NOT choose clear and lock, that will brick your phone!)
TWRP works, just use the latest version (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77272910&postcount=46) - So install TWRP
In TWRP flash https://zackptg5.com/android.php#disverfec and wipe DATA partition
Install Magisk. Boot up and flash universal Safetynet Fixer after
For Face Unlock set the region to Singapore, Hongkong, etc.

What about GPS?
Since i have the Mi8 the GPS is broke on every version. Can anyone with the same GPS problems confirm if they are solved?

i've a Mi8 Global, to install this i've to unlock the bootloader or can be installed with locked bootloader?
I flashed it, seems to works generally, but there´s no way to get TWRP installed... it instantly gets replaced with the original Recovery. Anyone else with that problem?
Is magisk working with this version?

No it's not possible by dirty flashing. Mi flash is your only choice.
I give you a tutorial link, pretty straightforward though

Is it possible to flash through twrp if I'm already running global. I really don't wanna backup/restore everything again.
And how is GPS so far?
