the lack of information makes it really hard to help you in any way.
First of all, there's actually no root for MM.
Dirty or clean flash?
Which version did you flash?
how did you flash it?

yeah.....no. I know it's pretty convenient to keep all the app- and systemsettings and stuff, but dirty flashing MM over LP is going to mess up your system very likely. Even if you wipe cache and stuff, it just doesn't run any stable at all. So do yourself a favour and install clean.
Also, before installing TWRP and Custom Kernel, you might wanna try if your problem already exists with stock kernel and recovery. I didn't know there was any option for root w/ unlocked bootloader, so i can't say anything about the stablity of it.

Problem occurs both stock and custom, well I'll try wipe and flash it.
If you haven't wiped yet, try this. I dirty flashed from LP to MM using the FTF and this is how I got the play services to stop asking for an update so it might work for you too.
1) Uninstall updates for Google Play Services and let it revert to the copy in /system
You'll need to make sure you don't have Google Play Services listed as a device administrator first (android device manager, smart lock, Gmail on exchange, etc.)
2) Clear app data for both Google Play Services AND the Play Store app (this is crucial!)
3) Load up Play Store again and let it update Google Play Services.
It may take a few times forcing a Play Services update but it should work.

I have an iDeaUSA YG A777 Android Tablet that is rooted. The version of Android it is running is 4.0.3.
My problem:
I updated the YouTube app from Google Play Store a few days ago. After it was updated, I tried to open it, but a message popped up saying that I needed to install Google Play Services and linked me to the app's Play Store page. Google Play Services downloads fine, but during the installation process, an error message pops up, saying:
"Incompatible with other applications(s) using the same shared user ID."
I don't have a custom ROM or a custom kernel; they're both stock.

I tried wiping both the cache partition and the dalvik partition, but it didn't work.
The only two versions of Google Play Store that I've had on my tablet is the one that came with my stock ROM (I don't remember which version that was) and now the most current version of Play Store (3.10.10). Back when I had the stock version, I tried installing Google Play Services, but no luck. Obviously, I'm still having the same problem with the current version.

Then, if I'm not mistaken, it is a stock ROM for Tom-Tec tablets. In other words, it probably won't work, at least not properly, on my iDeaUSA YG A777 tablet. I would need a ROM, stock or custom, designed for my tablet if I'm to be able to replace my current stock ROM.
Regardless, like I said previously, I'd like to fix this problem without getting rid of my current stock ROM.

No luck. Using Titanium Backup, I tried wiping the data of every Google app, but it didn't work. I then tried a mass data wipe of ALL system and user apps. However, I ended up with the same result.

Maybe not. If you try to run GAPPS before installing Xposed & the module, if muffs things up. You may need to start over & make sure you have HDXposed up & running before installing play.

Mine did the same thing. I factory reset and installed xposed framework and hdxposed module on my tablet without safe strap as I do not like how it has to resend info etc. Do that at your own risk cause if something goes horribly wrong it isn't easy to recover.

It's pretty straightforward, there are several apps that do this. You can search in Baidu.com for Gapps and the apk will show up. Install it, press the big button and there you go. You can also find several tutorials in Youtube, if you don't know how the app looks like.
Alternatively, here's another tutorial with a different app: http://en.miui.com/thread-17910-1-1.html
somehow i'm able to install Gapps using the installer, i don't know what i did to fix it, anyway its all good now, btw the link you gave is for device that is not bootloader locked

Same here first time, but removed Google*, installed them again and it started working. I rebooted after Google login, Xunlei engine was disabled and download limit set to Unlimited.
it seem that after you login to playstore, you need to wait for a while for it to sync in order for you to be able to download apps, otherwise you'll get unable to contact server error message

the google installer worked to install the apps but they couldn't establish a connection to the servers. I had to restore my playstore and google apps from a titanium backup file I had and then it would work. So anyone not able to get on google apps try installing old titanium backups, it may work.
One thing to note with all of these is sometimes it just needs time.
After all, the play services and framework often have to register with Google and also update themselves (you're not guaranteed to get the most up to date version for each even with the installer).
I installed mine and they registered fine. But as soon as I tried to download an app from the play store I got weird errors.
Left it a day and boom, worked fine.
Hi all, my SM-G9280 still cannot log into Snapchat. I've rooted the phone (since it doesn't come with Google Play Services). The android vers is 6.0.1 and Baseband is G9280ZCU2BPK1.
My phone is Chinese so it does not come with Google Play Services, and I have to root to get it.
I've tried :
1) RootCloak + Cydia Substrate. Doesn't work for some reason.
2) Xposed + Root Cloak. Installing the xposed framework crashes my phone and causes a bootloop. Recoverable by flashing the stock ROM and resetting phone though.
(EDIT: Xposed + Root Cloak does work now, I've added Snapchat to the list of root-hide apps, but it still does not allow me to log into Snapchat.)
3) Unrooting and Rerooting. Unrooting removes Google Play Services along with the root and Snapchat does not work if Google Play Services is not present.
I would try Titanium Backup with Snapchat except I don't have a second android device avaliable.
Is there any other solutions that I can do to log into Snapchat?
Can someone help me? Please?
Bump, can someone please help me?
Bumped again... Please someone help me with this issue.
First off why would removing root remove Google play services? This is not how this works. From the looks of it you have a china based device that didn't come with Google stuff installed. Take care of that first. Then root after.
Yeah, I have to root in order to get Google stuff.
As far as I know for my device there is no way to get Google Play Services other than rooting.

Well then I would root get the Google stuff and unroot. As they are not connected you should be able to pull it off.
I tried that. But as soon as I unroot Google Play Services dissapears and when I unroot using SuperSU it causes a bootloop, which is solvable by flashing the custom ROM,
So that doesn't work. Or am I doing something wrong with the unrooting process?

You are doing something wrong along the way. If you have a custom rom then you should have a custom recovery as well. At That point all you have to do is flash the rom and a gapps package. Dont flash any root apps. If they are built into the rom then that may be a bit harder to deal with.
I don't have a custom rom...
The way I got Google Play Services and Google Play to work is I rooted, then used a third-party app (Not OpenGApps) to install Google Play Services, the framework, and everything else.
I still have my stock rom, it's just rooted and has google play services that's all.
The fix is easy. Just grab another phone that is rooted but without Xposed Framework, you install SC and login. After login do a backup of the app with Titanium backup then move the backup to you Note 5/Galaxy s6+ and do a restore of the app's data (data has log in token). That's all ?
Now, if you don't own another phone then you have have to install stock ROM, then log in to your SC using the stock ROM without any modding (rooting) yet. After login root the phone and do a backup with Titanium backup. You can restore your Login data anytime after doing the backup. That's all.
I think that the problem with the log in may be because of the Knox counter in the ROM being triggered. Hope it's works for you. I use this exact method to fix the log in issue.

Read the OP.
I don't have another phone to do Titanium Backup.
When I install Stock ROM, Google Play Services and Framework is not installed therefore Snapchat doesn't work.
Would clearing EVERYTHING, then flashing Stock ROM, then getting OpenGApps help? Because if so then I can do that except i do not know how to setup OpenGApps...
Okay, so I got TWRP then flashed TWRP, then got OpenGApps to get Google Play Services.
I then unrooted but it took away Google Play Services and everything as well. I can't login to Snapchat.
Am I still doing something wrong here?
Bump, posted this on a couple of other forums and no one has replied with a solution
Someone help solve please
Bump.
Bump, I've been able to somehow install Xposed and root cloak. I've added Snapchat to the list to hide the root from the app, but it still won't let me log in.

Hello... I quoted you there because I wanted to ask... What do you mean there? You were unable to install a stock rom? If yes then it is very possible that your file structure may by corrupt.
Also... By which method did you try to install the "clean" rom? If you just tried to flash a clean rom, say from recovery, chances are the installation would fail. You must either use SP flashtool, Odin or other similar programs to get a clean installation and correct filesystem structure...
Don't really know what else to say for the moment, please share a little more info if you wish.
(ps. how about other application installations, not originating from google store? Do they install, or are they giving you a hard time also???)

Hi.LOS 14.1 ROM stock kernel. It was installed through TWRP after wiping everything.Firstly I thought that since F2FS is a log based file system,my cache may be full but that was not the case . It's odd that on the first boot,I have no problems installing from the store but after 1 reboot, the bug occurs. And the applications that are not originating from the store,I have no problems installing them.I have Adaway and this time I thought if I install it and modify my hosts file,it will cause the problem but that wasn't the case either.
