Hello all,
For the Google Play Music app, I know you can pin albums and playlists to your device so you do not have to stream them.
Is there anyway to simply pin all your music? Instead of doing each album or playlist individually?
Thank you.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Use a playlist
In the Web version Create a playlist with all your songs
In the App swipe to playlists and long press that play list to pin all
However its very slow doesn't keep the connection alive when the phone goes to sleep and puts the files in a folder where only a few other music players can see them

I am using this trick now. Seems silly to have to do it this way.... but it appears to work.

Google music is working in India???
can someone tell me how you create a playlist that contains your entire library? Hoping there's a better way than dragging every album/artist into the playlist.
Thanks!
Sorry for necroposting a little, I came across this thread while trying to accomplish the same thing, but dragging and dropping hundreds of songs onto a playlist didn't sound nice.
The easy way to go about this is to go to the Google Play Music web interface, go to My Library, and hit the "Shuffle My Library" button. That'll put all your music into the Queue, which you can open from the icon on the bottom right of the interface or from the side menu, under "Auto Playlists". Open the Queue, and hit "Save Queue", which will add all the music to a single playlist. From there, you can open up the android app and pin that playlist.
Hope this helps!

Wondering if anyone can help.
So I have an audiobook player, music player, and podcast app. I want to map a headset button(easy enough using headset button control) to a single tasker task that when pressed will open the music player, when pressed again close music and open audiobook, when pressed again open podcast app. Basically cycle through to the next app in order in a loop for when I want to switch between the 3.
Is this even possible?

I am willing to pay $10 paypal to whomever can help me out with this.
Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kober.headsetbutton&hl=fr_FR
For example
1 click = AudioBook Player
2 click = Music Player
3 click = Pocdast app
If you want only 1 click with a loop for switch between the 3, tell me
I have been trying to make Google music play a specific playlist via Automate (similar to tasker) when my alarm goes off. But I don't know what app activity to pick. I have found the playlist shortcut but that only launches the app and shows the playlist. I want it to play it also. How do I make this work?
Thank you
I play a song set which involves jumping back and forth between multiple playlists. I've tried other ways to work around this; it really can't be avoided. The problem is obvious: the shuffle mode. Every time I select a new playlist, the shuffle list resets itself. As a result, I'm plagued with unacceptable repetition. UNACCEPTABLE. The same song plays 2-3 times in 30 minutes. So here's what I'm looking for:
A Profile, Task or Intent is to be written which will check the shuffle system against the Recently Played Playlist. When a song is selected, it is to be cross-referenced against all the songs contained in Recently Played. If the song matches, there is to be an immediate fast forward to a new song which will then be cross-referenced as before. The process will continue until a song NOT on the Recently Played list is selected. If all songs on the playlist are on recently played, a new playlist is to be selected.
What are your thoughts, ideas and suggestions for the code needed to perform this Task?
Hi all,
I'm putting together a puzzle for high school students to solve and I have 4 smart phones that I would like to use to play a specific song. I can get UCCW to open to a specific file folder and then the students can tap the file from there to play the song but I'm trying to make it fool-proof. I would like the widget to automatically open the music file and play it immediately. Does anyone know if this is possible? I will probably leave the music player up once it's opened so kids can replay it, but if it closes, I want the song file to pop right up and start playing when the widget is tapped.
Thanks
