The Google Now Launcher is my favourite for my device, however I've recently run into some problems with the status bar and then capacitive keys.
They come up as block bars instead of the usual transparent look. Any help would be appreciated and although it is only an aesthetic problem, it is putting me off the launcher itself.

Yup, same thing here. I got frustrated and started using Nova Launcher again.
I can't see your image for some reason, so here's mine. (ignore the status bar icon style, it's the Google Style ROM from Rajeev):

Hello All, I've decided to make my venture into the theming world by releasing an Icon pack. What I've done is ported Gingerbread SMS Icons to GOSMS.
You can get the latest version (8/6/11) here
It has an array of colored versions of the stock GB icon (HDPI).

I'll take color requests, I don't take specifics such as HEX/RGB but if you attach a pic of the color I'll match it (or at least get close).
Also here's a zip with all the icons you can use for your own use (just let me know if you plan to release it!)
I know i should be able to find it in here somewhere, but i simply can't. I even did this on another handset i had earlier... I want to have custom icons for Phone and Messages on my lockscreen. I might as well use the default icons of GO Launcher EX in the bottom bar (Not the default icons of the apps). Example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I obviously also want the notification counter on these icons, for that i downloaded GO Launcher EX Notification. So if i could only find a way to put Messages and Phone on my lockscreen with custom icons, i'll be very happy...
Could it be possible for someone to port this for the Xperia Mini Pro?

It'd be really awesome to have notifications on one screen and at a swype away you can have all the toggles you need. The alternatives offered here are kind of clumsy because they can take a large portition of the notification screen and in portrait mode you can only see a bit more then just one notification. This MIUI notification bar I find much more appealing.
Also adding the swype to clear notifications would be cool, as well as removing the Notifs/Toggle buttons on the bottom and leaving the light indicator. This would really save a lot of screen space.
So I wanted to give the UI bar a try and 2 things came up. The photon already has the default nav keys. Is there a way to disable those? Also it messes up the Xperia launcher on the aokp rom. Is there a way to fix that (I'll post screenies)
And the keyboard. I noticed whenever the keyboard (any keyboard I get) has a small black space under it. It isn't really horrible but I seem to notice small things like that. Is there a fix for that?
Edit:
Here is the Xperia launcher with the UI bar. Pretty.. broken

Hi Guys,
I'm running the Scrubber GPE Port and managed to enable landscape mode with the Google Launcher. The problem is there's a black bar on the navigation side in landscape mode..
Anyone know how fix this?

Yeah, this is something that I'm seeing on all the launchers I've tried thus far (Nova, Now Launcher, Action Launcher), and since the navbar is still opaque on those three, I'll go ahead and say it's a system framework thing going on here, and I'm guessing that we'll have to modify the framework. Check out the Cross-device section. Some devs have probably touched this already.
