It is posible to emulate android camera from a video stream? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys. So, to make a long story short, I would like to know if it is possible to emulate the android camera from a video stream/another video source. In the event of facebook live videos, i would like to make some live transmisions from a stream (some kind of youtube live). The problem is that you can make this kind of things (for now) only from facebook app. So: facebook acces the camera, but i would like to trick the app into accesing another video source. I understand that this would not be possible on a phone, but maybe there's a solution on Remix OS or an android emulator.
So, is there a solution to this problem?

Android app - multi-display video wall

Hi,
Thinking to develop am android app to display a video or part of the video on mutli-android phone device. It will support sync video and play it at the same time.
Anyone can give me some advice or idea how i can do it?
Thanks.
Im not really sure what you are trying to do. You want to display "part of a video"? Are you trying to output video from the device to a screen? Or from another device to the phone?
Anyway, I suggest you get the Android SDK from google. They basically tell you how to write apps. There are also books or classes you can take too.
So your wanting to make an app that allows you to share and play(synced) video over multiple phones?
Yes as above said you will first need to get the Android SDK, but to write this program you will need to be very skilled programmer with alot of times on your hands...
You will first need to know alot about networking, allowing you to connect to other phones and i assume create a buffer system then have all phones play at time that the buffers are reached to maintain steady flow based of network stats.
If you want to do streaming you will need to know even more, not to mention you will need to probably write your own video playing software.
OR you could simply write a program that links the x # of phones together and then streams from phone a to phones x-n through a 3rd party stream capable video player.

Need this APPS !!!
Blinkendroid has been found but I'd like to watch a movie on my Android device and broadcast / stream it on other Android device synchronised.
ie :
=> I own 2 tablets 7"

Is there anything yet for this requirement ?

[Q] 4.2.2 Audio-Streaming Options (Miracast/DLNA/Airplay)

Hi all,
Currently i am wondering what options i have to stream audio from my android phone to my PC?
being a previous iPhone-owner, i just got my HTC One mini (4.2.2).
I have a Airplay-Reciever-Software installed on my PC, so i was able to stream any audio from my iPhone to my PC - native.
Actually, i dont want to install any app on my phone, as i dont want to be limited to a specific app for my music or video.
Native steaming seems to be possible with MIracast and DLNA....
I was reading through many articles about DLNA and Miracast - none being really helpfull. I couldnt find any PC-Reciever-Software for Miracast, and DLNA seems to work entirely different.
Also, making my android stream to Airplay doesnt seem to work without root AND a specific app - not really an option either.
You guys have any idea?
Thanks
Lennart
for anyone with the same issue:
DLNA can work this way: Streaming audio from my phone to a DLNA player (WMP on win7).
Also, chromecast can be an option (for google-apps).
Cheers!

Stream Deck for Android ?

Hi android enthusiast.
I wonder if you around here are also into PC game streaming. Like on Twitch or on youtube.
If so, you might have fallen over the new Elgato Stream Deck Hardware: https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/stream-deck
Do you guys know if something similar and software based exists for Android?
Wouldn't it be great to manage your Streams but with your mobile phones?
Maybe one of you Magic Devs on here has a bit free time and could look into it and maybe it's possible to have an android stream deck on time.
regards
I know this is an ancient question, but just in case anyone is wondering you can create something similar using Tasker to do anything on an android. You can create a UI using AutoTools WebView. There are many ways to interface with the PC, but the integrated one would be to use Join and EventGhost.

The most stable app for casting video from windows to android

Hi
I've tested lots of apps for casting video from win to android with no that success. for example Kodi is one of best one but it fails after casting some video. one of its problems is that after some videos it can't find remote devices either. I couldn't understand what's the source of the problem. I had to turn my devices off and on most of the times to solve it. It's really frustrating.
Can any body tell me which app or way is a stable way for such a thing?

Streaming live video from pc to phone app

Hello, i wanted to ask if there is any app to stream live video from pc ( in particular from video editing apps like sony vegas, adobe ae or davinci) (in general the setup is like that: live signal from a dslr in davinci, after effects or other video editor and the video that is coming in these apps to transmit it live to an app on my phone) .
If there s nothing like that, what should i google to achive something like that ? what protocols to use?
I ve read a little about webrtc but i dont know if that s the thing i need or can i make it work ?
Thank you in advance.
All the best.
