Try pull out battery for a few minutes. put it on and try download mode again. Download mode should always work :/ Few minutes ago i flash twice this metode and all works fine.
Or there was huge battery drain and it's 0. Phone react on charger? Maybe someone have v10 near you and charge your batt.
I only guesses, no more ideas at this time.

Hello all, I have a karbonn A9+, with custom rom " BetterFlareBuild37 ".
Everything was working smoothly with the rom. I tried to backup my rom using " Rom Toolbox Pro".
It showed backing up and all, the my phone got power off. I thought its just a general restart but ever since my phone is not powering up atall !!!!
Nothings working !!, i cant even start the recovery mode as that is also not showing up.Revomed the battery and tried but no sign.Not even showing up any backlight while charging or usb connect.Please help its as good as dead now !!!!

May be the battery is out. Give it a full charge and try. or else try getting into download mode rather than recovery mode and flash rom again (new/custom).
If you can't get into download mode also then I think your phone got bricked. But backing up the data doesn't get your phone bricked (generally).
Do the download mode procedure once and see.

I also encountered that problem on my Cherry Mobile Flare S100..
I'm planning to go to the service center tomorrow to see if they
can fix it.
Some people I know tried to remove the battery for
lets say 15mins to 7 days and then put it back in
and turn it on. And then... whoala..!! It worked like a charm..
I tried it but no luck at all..

ik what u need to do cheak that ur battery is charged.. now try to go into fastboot mode..(power+ vol up) if u r able to go to green screen then contacttphone to pc and fladh cwm and restore ur backup

when i connect my phone it shows up in the device manager as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
in com ports.and yes i tried the download mode but don't think did it quite well as i couldn't find a proper tutorial for such a recovery in case of karbonn a9+.
and i don't think it's any battery issue as it is giving proper current.
To go into download mode
power + volume down + home/menu button
or
power + volume down
Umm i don't think i'll get any luck with that...
cause i can't even get the correct files for bootloader and PDA for odin to perform the recovery in download mode.
I think i better take it to the service center as i guess it is hard bricked !!

Dude odin is for Samsung devices only.
It is not for other devices.
Fixed ! about a month ago !
If You power on phone and you see "ENTRY QPST DOWNLOAD" then just go here :

my karbonn a9+ also suddenly turned off while it was charging.. i had updated it to jelly bean, which worked without any problem for 3 days... the phone does not turn on, no fastloader (vol up +power) or entry download (vol down+ power) mode either... when connected to computer shows as qualcomm hs-usd qd loader 9008....
i even tried the recovery mode through QPST, provided here

were you able to fix your phone? did you go to service center, did your warranty became valid? if not how much was cost to repair this?

my S2 doesnt boots,when it goes into recovery it stays there for some seconds and then reboots to recovery and shut downs again for some seconds...
if the phone is not connected to the charger or usb cable it cant even go to recovey or download mode...when i go to download mode everything goes fine but when it wants to boot it doesnt thats why i think it maybe should be a software problem ...
if someone knows how to reborn my S2 please tell me ???

Try flashing XWLSD...search on Sammobile.
So let me get this straight:
You can go into CWM Recovery mode, but when you do, the phone reboots by itself?
And what happens when you go to download mode?! Kinda difficult to understand what you've written there :/
This sounds like you don't have much battery left, maybe leave it on charger for 20 mins and then try to acces either Recovery or download mode.
Also as far as my expertise says, you sholdn't have played with bootloaders.. (correct me if im wrong)
PDA is usually enough for flashing a new firmware via ODIN, atleast for me.

nevermind i realised that it is a hardware problem...the charging ic needs to be replaced
Hi everybody, i need your help, yesterday i had a problem with mateo's unofficial cm10.1, after a reboot the phone freezes at LG logo, and if i try to get into the recovery it doesnt work cause it is writtene in the bottom "E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command" and i do not have any button to select. So i try to go in SW Upgrade Mode but the pc is not able to recognize my phone like always did, i installed latest version of drivers but no way. In Lg mobile support tool doesnt work (look to te attached file). Any help?? :'(

But you get to S/W Upgrade Mode or not? If yes try diffrent computer too.
I am able to go in SW upgrade mode, but after 2-3 minutes the phone get off, i think the battery is out, is it possible? How can i charge it? The charge from phone turned off doesnt work in my last rom

I think in that case you would need another working device to charge your own battery.
I'm using v40 of temasek unofficial cm11, Boefflea version 11 kernel.
while I was using my phone, the phone suddenly went into a reboot and started the boot-loop, even when I pull the battery out and put it back in it starts booting immediately and goes into the boot-loop , whenever I try to go into download mode or recovery mode, once or twice I will be able to reach it, but 3 seconds in, it restarts and goes into the boot loop again (I can't choose between restarting or going into download mode)
would a USB jig help me getting into the download mode or will it be 3 seconds in and restarts?
would a service center help me retain my data as I need them?

momentarily I've managed to be able to access download mode and the laptop started making a sound trying to identify the device, too bad the battery fell off (or the phone restarted) lol

If the phone starts the moment a battery is inserted then usually the power button is stuck -try giving it a wiggle, or get it replaced.

I tried flashing CWM but I get back to the bootloop ... should I install a newer bootloader?
No, bootloader is irrelevant to firmware. You would be best to flash a full stock rom with odin then factory reset and see if it will boot. I would suspect the power cycling may have caused partition problems if recovery got wiped.

which would mean I would lose all the data in the previous cm11 right?
I'm trying my best to flash a recovery but I think it got wiped for good.. I'm trying to flash it over and over again .. (I unplug the battery once I'm in download mode to prevent the sudden restart) .. before I flashed the CWM through odin I was able to go into a glimpse of a recovery mode, now I can't seem to see it at all...
is there a way to just copy the data (mostly pictures) through odin or adb with my phone current state?

if anyone is reading this, I've been looking everywhere for a stock rom with pit file, I think that's the problem I'm facing since I have different bootloaders and different modes, somewhere around that I jacked my partitions and I think this would help putting it all back
I've found ones for android 4.1 but nothing of 4.3 .. since I came from 4.3 stock rom and then 4.4 kitkat temasek I think 4.1 won't help me at all

OK this is weird...
after I gave up I put my phone on a recover firmware that for some bizarre reason brought it back to life!!! I just put the phone back and left .. 5 hours later it was on and working.. I was able to access the phone for a brief moment.. but for some reason again I wasn't able to get the touch screen to work... I was able to raise the volume.. restart the phone.. but nothing on touch screen..
then it went back to the dead state...
any ideas?

Well, i saw that defective phone on ebay with those symptom but nobody reported that type of bootloop, might give it a try and buy it.
