I have two hotmail accounts, and without Google Exchange Services their calendar information will not show up on my calendar app. Does anyone know how to get the Google Exchange Services installed so the calendars will sync?
I have installed "mail wise email app for exchange mail", which works very well.

I tried it but it doesn't affect my calendar. Still shows only my google account. Why is there no native calendar app?
I have native email and exchange for remix os and they are sync very well, I can share it with u, but can't right now cause I am still at work. Sory for bad English.

Hey,
I have two issues and two questions regarding them......
1) I would like to sync the Tasks app. with Google however I do not see Google in the Sync Task profile only my Samsung account.
2) I'd like to sync the Memo app. with Google. It says that I'm not logged in to Google Docs however when I put both my email and password in the login tab does not light up, if I use a different email address it does.
As an added note I also declined a popup from Google about permissions to see what would happen. The window disappeared and nothing did happen!..... At least thats what I thought till now! Not sure how to undo that and suspect that's the problem!
I have also tried to remove my Google account, this only seems possible if you hard reset-which would have to be a last resort for me. I've also been on to my Gmail and Google docs setting via P.C. and am unable to find any setting there that would be affecting these issues.
Any Ideas on how to fix this?
I also have this problem and can not solve it.
I have google docs installed on my phone, but the e-mail address which is registered does not end with gmail.com but a different domain. I can use google docs without a problem but I can not login inside Memo to sync it with my google account.
Any ideas?

Is very good (I use it a lot)... But doesn't solve the sync of Memo... Any recommendations?
i use document to go for google doc... they work fantastic!
Since there's still no way to sync memo with google, i just use Simple Notepad. Color note sounds good too, it supports online back up and sync but haven't try it yet ...

Thanks for the information. But since the Tasks is already available for TouchWiz, I would rather use the built in Tasks app. I think the only way is to configure the Gmail Account as an Exchange ActiveSync account. There is a sample configuration for that in the Internet.
Sorry, you mean Task or Notes is on TouchWiz?

Hi,
I have installed a modded CM9 rom (hydrogen) that is discontinued now.
As soon as i have a little time i will look for a new rom but now i have to access an exchange mail created at my office and notice that there is no mail apk in the rom (just the gmail).
How can i access the exchange server now? Is there a way to get the default mail that have exchange support back? APk ou flashable ZIP?

You have a "Corporate" option to setup an Exchange account in your phone. Check that out.

Ohh, I forgot one thing. I also have flashed a pack (scripts) that changed some things in the rom. One of the changes was delete the Email.apk and Exchange.apk.
Now i guess i need to restore them if i want to access the exchange server, am i right?

So I pass to configure all my email addresses and notices that only have gmail mail app
I need to retrieve my POP3 and IMAP mails, do I miss something during ROM installation?
How can I install a mail app?

Hey Man,
I have experienced the same thing. I dont know why they removed the mail app. I tried to install the ROM again to make sure I didnt miss something in the AROMA installer but the second time also no mail app.
I downloaded the K9-Mail app which is doing an ok job so far. Just search for K9-Mail on play store.

Just tested the New Gmail app, promising but still missing some support.
Exchange: Syncing mail hangs at times and restart is nesesary. Calendars and Contacts not syncing proerly.
Outlook mail sync: Problems With calandars and contact sync.
Also missing option for trafic plan syncing.
Not working for me, returned to old Version and different Clients.

Have you tried With Exchange as well?
I'm loving this new gmail. Especially with the exchange services. Unfortunately the exchange policy patch (on XDA) doesn't work with this yet, so for now I'm just using it for gmail. Can't stand having to use a pin or password! Especially when we now have fingerprint recognition.

I have installed the gmail apk looks like everything is fine at first but when I try to open any mail it doesnt open I can see the buttons up top but rest of the screen is white with circle like trying to load it. But no luck so far. All my accounts are gmail no other account signed in. Stock rom no root N910CQ Turkish Exynos variant.

install gmail from play store then signin your account and then install gmail 5.0 as normal apk
because i have 4 5 devices and everything is working awesome

Do we need to request permission to the drive files?
I'm coming from an HTC M8 and have been using my work exchange emails from within the Gmail app since support was added late last year. However, the gmail app on the S6 Edge does not have Exchange as an option when adding an account - just POP and IMAP.
Is there something I'm missing, or has Samsung disabled email clients other than their own from using exchange?
Have you updated all the apps in the Play Store?
I'm having the same issue on my Galaxy S6. All of my apps have been updated in the Play Store. Any ideas? I don't want to have to run two email apps to get my work email... (I really hate exchange servers)

I believe if you disable the stock email app then you will also disable the exchange function in Gmail.

I can't speak to that as I haven't disabled the stock email app, however I did find a solution to this problem as discussed in another thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/themes-apps/gmail-exchange-support-t3070884
The problem appears to be that Samsung blocks the Google Exhange APK in the Play Store. However, you can still download the APK and install it after enabling 3rd Party Software installs in security settings, then it will work.
