[HELP] Urgent can't turn on in any way! - Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooti

My tablet doesn't turn on in any way so i can't use PcCompanion, fastboot or flashtool, nothing... but i know it's not dead, this is what happens:
- Turn on normally: Sony Logo
- Turn on + Vol Down: Sony Logo --> Here it should go to TWRP
- Turn on + Vol Up: Sony Logo
Now what matters, for recover my tablet i can go to fastboot mode and install some custom rom, or just flash a ftf in flashtool, or use PCCompanion, But i can't enter fastboot mode THE TABLET DOESN'T TURN ON IF ITS CONNECTED TO THE PC.... wich is the way to acces the fastboot mode right?
- Turn on normally while connected to the USB: NOTHING
- (Powered off) Vol down and then connect to usb: Green Light for a sec, changes to red, no lights, and nothing.
EDIT::
Actually making "Vol Down + Connect usb" works, even if the lights are off, my PC has a trouble wich IDK why i can't install the flashtool drivers, so i had to use another PC where they worked.
Flashtool recognizes the device in this mode but its gets disconnected after 1 min so its imposible to flash a ftf, but doing "Vol Up + Connect usb" and using the fastboot mode i was able to install TWRP and boot.img from CM ROM and now i am able to use TWRP

try to press continuously the white micro reset button inside sd card slot.

Cannot enter flash mode, phone blinks red, then green, then off

Trying to access flash mode to flash a working firmware. Phone will only blink red/green for a half second before shutting off. Cannot access the phone via flash mode to flash using flashtool. When I connect the USB cable holding the Vol up button the light turns blue and remains blue until I unplug. Am I missing something here?
Volume up gets you into fastboot mode, with the blue light. That's what you are getting. Volume down while plugging is how you get to flash mode. There will be no light, but you should hear or see a notification on your PC when it is recognized, if you have drivers installed.
Also be sure that you first choose the firmware and wait for flashtool to prepare it for flashing and then connect the phone with vol down, otherwise it will not work.

fastboot issue

i want to enter fastboot mode to unlock bootloader
but i press volume + and plugin usb,it won't blink blue led,it blink green and orange, and nothing happened
help.....
and another problem, isn't you can't unlock bootloader when you already rooted
beucase i success for using boot manager to enter fastboot mode, it blink blue led
The LED should be blue and that's it, so if it shows any other color when you hold VOL UP, then I have no idea what's going on, or what you've previously done to your device.
Hi

Hi! I've a M4 Aqua single (E2303) with unlocked bootloader and firmware 26.3.A.1.33. I've tried to boot into fastboot mode, doing this:
1 - Turn off power off by pressing Power key
2 - Press and hold Volume Down key
3 - Connect the Xperia to USB Cable
4 - Done!
But nothing happens... I'm doing something wrong or I miss anything?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for try to help! Anyway, I've just try that, the led turn blue... but nothing happens either...
Make sure you hold it while you connect it? Other than that I dont know.... Maybe enable USB debugging?
Flashmode: Vol Down
Fastboot: Vol Up
Beware, the phone will go out of fastboot mode after about 15 seconds if no computer activity takes place.

Yes, I've done everything (USB debugging enabled too, hold Vol+ more than 20secs...)
And after that "blue led" I've try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/root-sony-xperia-m4-aqua-e2303-firmware-t3485006
But as I said, with no luck at all...
I don't know why it dosn't work...
If you have the blue LED, that means the phone is in fastboot mode.
If your computer can't pick it up, that is usually a driver issue. Try installing drivers from the flashtool. Be aware, that you need to enable unsigned driver installation in Windows before you can do that.

Cant boot into fastboot or flashmode, device not recognized

Hi,
today I wanted to flash a new firmware on the M4 Aqua (E2303). But I cant come to Fastboot/Flashmode. In Windows a message comes, which says that the device get not fully detected. On the device manager I get "device not recognized" and the hardware id is USB\CONFIG_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE or USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE . But when I boot into the system, the usb connection works correctly. Also when I shutdown the device with connected usb I get sony mass storage usb. I also followed the quide the, but without luck: http://troubleshooter.xyz/wiki/fix-usb-device-not-recognized-device-descriptor-request-failed/. And drivers are for sure installed (also installed at least Xperia Companion)
I did...
... adb reboot recovery -> device not recognized" with black screen, reboot (sound like because usb disconnect, but screen is still black), device hangs and it is a odyssey to get it boot again with long hold power and/or plug the reset hole!
... power off -> hold volume down + plug usb -> "device not recognized" and black screen or sony logo... sometimes I had shortly a blue screen, but than the device reboots and than hangs like on adb reboot bootloader
... power off -> hold volume up + plug usb -> device shuts down
... power off -> holt volume up (and also a try with vol up+down) + power till the 3 times vibration comes. but after that it also not boot into flashboot/fastboot.
... wiped the data/internal partitions from recovery -> same like before
... boot into recovery and selected reboot into bootloader -> device hangs
I can only boot into the installed Stockrom and into the twrp recovery.
Any idea where to get the stock rom in zip format to flash it over recovery? Or is there any app to flash the rom from the booted system with root? Anything else?
No idea?

Happened to me too recently. Using an older version of Flashtool solved it for me. İt was 9.18 I think.

M4 Aqua (E2303) bricked - fastboot works but weirdly, flashmode does not

Hi!
M4 Aqua, E2303
Brief history, what I did before:
- On a full stock OS, first, I unlocked bootloader with fastboot oem unlock, which went through nicely.
- After that, I followed this thread to install custom recovery (twrp). Went through nicely (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and fastboot flash boot boot.img).
- I was able to boot into recovery (twrp), and with the Install function, selecting Conceptify .zip it installed, rebooted.
- On the boot, the Conceptify gear logo was stuck spinning for a very long time. Then I just tried going into TWRP again to install Conceptify again, maybe for the second try it installs without the boot issue.
After this, I was no longer able to enter twrp recovery again. Okay, tried to flash the .img's again (boot and recovery), maybe I can at least get into TWRP recovery again, but no luck, despite both flash commands going through (both sending, writing were OKAY), without errors.
Current symptoms at this point:
- I still can get into fastboot (vol Up + usb plug in; LED red, then blue), and my PC can recognize the phone being in fastboot correctly, with serial number (in fastboot devices). It can still perform the flash/erase commands, but whenever I try fastboot reboot or fastboot reboot-bootloader, it doesn't reboot the phone. At this point, fastboot devices gives back a device in fastboot mode, but with a lot of question marks (?) instead of the serial number. On unplugging it, LED stays blue, like it is frozen or somthing. I kill the phone off with the power cutoff switch (next to microsd).
- holding just Power to turn on phone: Sony logo on the white background and is stuck. After a while I kill off with power cutoff.
- holding Power + vol Up, it vibrates once every 2 seconds or so. Nothing on screen, when I stop holding the buttons, stop vibrating. It however stays in a weird state, cause I can't get into fastboot for example (vol down + usb plug in; like I can do when it was powered off completely). I kill off with power cutoff.
- holding Power + vol Down: Sony logo on the white bkg, and stuck. After a while I kill off with power cutoff.
- tried the all-button hold: Power + vol Down + vol Up for 30 seconds, it was just vibrating every 2-seconds.
- flashmode with Flashtool: I downloaded a stock .ftf, loaded into FlashTool, but upon asking to connect the phone while holding vol Down, it can't detect it. The phone however lights red, then green on the LED light. Tried with both a new Flashtool (0.9.32.0, and a recommended older one as well: 0.9.18.6).
Is there something else I could try to get a working TWRP recovery again, and be able to boot into it?
Thanks for your help!
My M4 (E2312) have pretty much the same symptoms: can not boot anything and just stuck on SONY logo, Flashtool does not recognize phone in flashmode (Vol -), just fastboot. And using fastboot to flash system, boot, recovery shows finished processes but phone does nothing new. And phone does not response well to USB, only after a reset then it updates the status.
I have Pexo ROM v3, custom TWRP, SkyMelon 9 I think,Rooted SuperSU and Magisk( has conflicts so when I boot some pop up says X app has stopped working. When I install some more apps to use it was ok, then the pop ups show up more and more and then it decides to boot loop to the stage we are now.
I have tried install 0.9.33 and 0.9.23.1( somehow only 0.9.23.1 can install 3 drivers), Xperia Companion, Emma, ggsetup 3.2.0.1, Driver SONY so0104 (so0113 ADB interface- status show it cannot start),
So either it is the drivers on computer, the computer USB ports, the phone's software or hardware defects lead to software that caused it.

Yes, I also tried installing conceptify but it doesnt work. At this point its better if you stick with the stock rom, remove as much bloatware as possible and consider it a phone because almost none of the ROMs here work stability wise, or they maybe stable but some features like display brightness or speakers dont work. So I recommend you install stock rom via flashtool and then unlock the bootloader via flashtool again and install twrp again. Also if possible try reinstalling the drivers for the phone in flashtool. Hope this works mate.

Unfortunately, I still can't make Flashtool recognize my M4 as booted in flashmode. Tried installing the drivers with \Flashtool\drivers\Flashtool-drivers.exe , but choosing the "Flashmode drivers" option, it failed during the install (I guess cause there wasnt a connected device that supports it), tried both with phone being connected in flashmode (volDown + plug-inUSB), and phone disconnected as well.
