Hello good afternoon,
I have a problem with my honor 7 was in beta android 6, but I did not like and decided to return to lollipop, I've done it this way:
1. copy to sd rom 300 ie the transition rom when I appeared actualize done and stay in the ROM 30.
2. then copy the sd B170 and meti this rom by mistake because I did not realize that was not complete, use the method of the 3 buttons update and appeared DONE started but the screen went dark and not light.
3. I try to put a rom full as the B121 to the sd precionando the 3 buttons but all that happens is that the phone vibrates and does not call the update.
The phone does not light, does not go into fastboot nothing more vibrates when I pressed the power button.
Appreciate it your help, because not to do.

How the problem occurred
So a year or two ago I bought a Jiayu G4A/T/Whatever they're calling it and safely got it here. I've used the stock ROM for a bit but I wanted to get rid of the bloatware that was still on it, so I eventually ended up with a properly rooted phone with a ROM from Jiayu.es (Everything worked, have ClockworkMod as recovery, accessible via Mobileuncle Tools), which was essentially a stock Kitkat rom made to work for the phone. Now I got sick of the ROM and recently saw the new EMUI version on Huawei's P8 Lite, so I figured I'd look around for a tailored ROM running that, and ended up at "jiayu-emui-3-0-stable" from Needrom.
What I did
1. I downloaded a ROM from Needrom with identifier "jiayu-emui-3-0-stable" (I can't post external links)
2. Backed up my important files following a guide from androidcentral titled "[Guide] How to Backup and Restore Apps and Data when installing new ROMs" that I can't link, and did a full backup using CWM
3. Placed the ZIP on my internal SD card, went into recovery, wiped data/cache (not dalvik, since it wasn't described in the instructions, I think this might be a probable cause) and installed the new ROM from ZIP
4. Rebooted the phone and now it's stuck in the boot loop I mentioned.
What the problem is
Bootloops aren't that much of a problem usually, except this one is... I can't get into recovery mode. From there on it'd be cake, since I made the right preparations, but I can't get into it. While connected to my PC it keeps powering on, showing a splash screen from Jiayu.es briefly (which shouldn't be present anymore) and powering off after 10 seconds, only to come back to the splash screen.
What I've tried
I've unplugged it, removed the battery, waited to get a full power cycle and tried to hold my buttons in these combinations: [power button + volume up], [power button + volume down] - but neither work. It just keeps going with the boot loop. I can succesfully power it down, and when I plug it in from there it shows the low battery image. At the moment of seeing that I thought I could connect to it using ADB / Fastboot, but no luck there either. It keeps saying no devices found, and with fastboot it keeps on <waiting for device>.
My questions
What exactly can I do if there is no way for me to get into recovery mode? Are there any alternatives? How can I get my device to be recognized by ADB? Is that even possible? Why is this bootloop any different from others?
Update from the massive Q&A thread:

Is it booting up on its own too after being off? This happened to wifes phone and it turned out the power button was stuck. I took a pencil and hit the power button with the eraser a few times and it worked then. Her case mustve dislogded it. I will keep my fingers crossed for u. If not send me a private message and i will look for an answer tomorrow and get back with u

Yes, it does. I took the battery out and let it lay disassembled for a night, after which I cleaned it a little and re-inserted the battery. With the case back on, nothing happened, so the power button wasn't stuck for sure. When I powered it back on with the power button (no USB attached) it showed the emblem for ~8 seconds and powered off. It then buzzes to show it's powered on again and up comes the splash screen again. Could it be that the ROM was just a rebooting falsehood? Why would it disallow me getting into recovery mode? I really hope there is something that can still force the device into recovery mode / interact with it somehow while in this state.
Oh, I also tried to see if the volume down button was broken but all the contacts seem intact, plus, they worked an hour before I started switching roms.
My phones loads up to home screen then reboot in about 10 seconds... Any ideas? Running EMUI 3.1/Android 5.1 beta build. was trying to revert back to stock B013 and thats when this problem started

For some reason, I can't boot into factory reset...
use ADB and Huawei update extractor to reinstall the ROM of your choice:

If you can goto fastboot, simply install recovery.img from UPDATE.APP(use huawei update extractor to extract img).
then copy update.app to dload folder in sd card and poweroff device.
press vol down + power button, it will boot into recovery and install UPDATE.app.
I faced this problem when from 5.1, i installed kangvipB015. it worked the way i told above.
Okay... I had my phone plugged into my usb 3.0 then I plugged the phone into my usb 2.0 port and phone started responded to my holding down volume and power buttons then phone booted up into unknown update and now everything is fine.... weird though
Huawei x2 loop
Hello. my X2 boots and reaches lockscreen, when I input my password a window comes up that says the system is not responding. After I click OK or WAIT the homescreen shows up, but after a while phone restarts and the same sequence happens again. I have tried booting into safe mode but the same thing happens. I also tried POWER plus VOL UP to clear cache. I have left the phone off and with zero battery power to simulate a battery pull. I cannot RESET however since I have valuable data on the phone which I cannot lose. Before this I was attempting to delete files by uploading to Google Photos, the phone froze so I restarted. When it booted that is when the looping began. I don't remember the version my X2 is in but since I got it I only had updated it once last year. I hope someone can help me.

I performed the update from the Honor Homepage using the Update -App.
Update started normally but then there was an error at approximately 65% progress. Update stopped and I only could perform a Reboot.
Marshmallow booted and seems to run more or less okay, but how can I be sure everything needed has been updated??
Maybe Marshmallow Software is ok, but Hardware Update files did not install or something like that.
Anyone else with this issue?
I have found a video containing the Problem at approximately minute 4:04 you can see the Problem/ error message

Think the general opinion is to redo the installation - which is to power off the phone, then hold the volume up and down buttons together while you hold the power button. Once the phone vibrates, let go of the power button, then when it starts booting let go of the volume buttons.
In my case, this acted a bit like a factory reset, but kept some settings - like it remembered the registered fingerprints. If you backup the phone to an SD card using the Huawei Backup software, you can get most stuff back on the phone within an hour with most settings restored as well.
Hello to all,
Respected members I have a LG v10 T-Mobile version with MM 6.0 stock version. I bought the phone today only. I have rooted many phones without any issues or trouble. Today when I used the method described in this thread [ http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-v10/development/tool-t3283944 ]. Now the problem is that I followed all the instructions up to the letter & everything was going ok.
I clicked the install.bat file the phone rebooted in download mode then it displayed that welcome to fastboot & there were a few options. On pc it in the CMD window which opened when I clicked install.bat file
which was present in the zip file I downloaded from the post it was displaying that waiting for device for I think may be 2 or 3 minutes. The it closed after 5minutes & I was seeing a black screen with 2 options with fast boot heading on top. The first option is to press the power button for 10 seconds to restart the phone or press fast reboot from adb. The problem is that I clicked both up & down volume keys after keeping the power key pressed for 10 seconds or more but nothing happened. The screen stayed for atleast 40 mimutes. Now the problem is that When I took the battery out of the phone to restart it booted & then after
lg mobile logo it displays that software not Recognize or Recognition failed. Can anyone please tell me what to do or that it is bricked or not. At the moment there is no bootloop or anything else. The phone is still connected to the pc with usb cable & is in firmware update mode. One more thing I wanted to respected members is that can I remove the phone or not. The phone is connected since 3 hours. I am at the moment download original stock firmware for T-Mobile v10 which MM 6.0. Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
That root method only works on LP "not" MM. Follow directions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3382631 to root MM.

So today I finally got notification for Oreo update on my Galaxy A8 2018 version.
I updated it via Smart Switch with original USB cable from Samsung, but after update was done, my phone was stuck at reboot mode.
It just keeps rebooting all the time, and even after 1 hour of reboots, it doesn't do anything usefully.
I went to recovery mode, where it still says it's android 7.1.1 firmware … I tried to wipe cache partition and that didn't help at all.
Next step was apply update from SD card but that just returns me errors: E:footer is wrong, E:Signature verification failed and E:failed to to find misc partition.
I tried to wipe all data/factory reset, but that didn't help either.
I can't start it download mode to use Odin, and smartswitch doesn't see my phone either.
I have no idea what else to do
Hi , let your battery to be completely empty , put in charger for about 2 hours don't power On!
After that take out the charger hold at the same time Vol - , home and Power taster , but to skip reboots , try when you hold those 3 buttons to press fast couple of times Vol - while you are holding other two buttons . If you are able to go into Download mode reflash the same firmware version Android 7.1.1 .
It turns out, that I was able to get in download mode, but I had to press volume up + volume down + power button all at the same time.
After that I was able to flash my device with stock 7.1.1 Android. After that was a success, I tried to update to Oreo again via Smart Switch … again same problem and phone would boot.
Then I downloaded Oreo firmware for my phone, and tried to flash it. It wasn't working at all. Program finished in 4 sec, and phone was stuck back at reboot.
After banging my head against the wall, I found some article on web, that this is a know issues for Odin 3.1.2 version, and that 3.1.3 version is working.
So I was finally able to flash my phone with Oreo Android, using Odin 3.1.3 version …. flashed my device at least 7 times before I got result that I wanted.
I still lost all my data, since I didn't have any backups enabled. This time I'm downloading all my apps, and do all customization, and then I'm making backup, so I won't be stuck with that problem once again.
Sometimes I regret going from iOS to Android, and next phone will probably be iPhone for me.
