i have a galaxy tab s 8.4 t705 with android 5.0.2 and i have gear s smart watch but i cant pairing between to them
i updated my gear s to last firmware with a galaxy a7 and install last version of samsung gear manager on my tablet but nothing changed
please help me
It is not officially supported. Only Samsung phones are officially supported. No tablet support.

Please can somebody help me? I was finding everywhere I guess but I cannot find anything about my problem. I bought Samsung Galaxy A3 DUOS todday and I have Gear S. Galaxy A3 DUOS cant pairring with Gear S. I have S4 before and there was no problem.

Yes, it has Android 5.0.2
I also try it connect via bluetooth and it works. But Gear Manager cannot connect to Gear S. Manager cannot find Gear S

I am also having same problem, with my new Galaxy A3 2016 phone. when i go to to galaxy app, i can't find Samsung gear app in galaxy app, where as at the same time i can find it on my galaxy note 3.
I downloaded Samsung gear from play store. But when i try to pair with Gear S, it says either phone is not compatible or the Samsung gear apps need to update.
Can any body help??
I called to samsung and they told me galaxy A3 DUOS can not pair with Gear s becouse it has 1 GB ram only. Gear S needs at least 1.5GB ram...so you can not pair booth devices
But Galaxy A3 2016 model has 1.5 GB Ram so it should work with Gear S. Model # is SM-A310F/DS. Which A3 model r u using?? is the old model with 1 GB Ram?

I had older model. I sold it. Now I'm interesting in Huawei P8 dual sim. Try to call to samsung hotline and ask for some advice

Yes but unfortunately i am in KSA so samsung support is ****. For you information non Samsung phone will not work with gear S.

I don't think so...becouse if you visit samsung website you should download app for other devices... apps.samsung.com/gear ... try it

I had the same problem with gear s2 and the galaxy a 3 2016. According to samsung website the cell phone is compatible and it has all the technical requirement but it is impossibly to connect both devices. Then I talked with samsung customer care and they told me that A3 2016 was not compatible with gear S 2 because it was not designed for that purpose. So f..ck samsung but the previous version A 3 2015 is compatible no sense.
I have samsung Gear 2 neo, and Gear S , its not working on A3 310 , now i bought a new A2 2016 - A310F the same thing, not connect in gear manager . only as bluetooth audio ... ****.. both watches worked full on S5 mini, HTC one mini ( old version android 1 gb ram ) on S6 ACTIVE , on A5 , but on A3 not at all , i think its a bluetooth hardware incompatibility problem...
Yesterday I was trying to send some pictures from GT S7262 ( SAMSUNG GALAXY STAR PLUS) TO MY GT I9100 ( SAMSUNG GALAXY S2) by Bluetooth and as any time my phone is visible for all
I choose my phone
On the sender phone (galaxy star plus ) it say me sending and after about 2 sec say me sending faild
On the receiver phone (galaxy s2) no notification no accept or decline message no anything
I tried from another mobile but same thing happen
Please help

I have Gear Fit Model : SM-R350. But I do not kown, Gear fit Model : SM-R350 is compitible with Samsung J7 and Samsung J7 Prime ?
I am planning to buy one of them. Pls. guide me. I have visited samsung website link. But as per samsung website, Gear Fit works on 1 gb ram & android 4.3 & above Operating System. But I would like to know it will work or not ?

run the fear fit manager and follow the instructions....
(j7 cannot download gear fit manage automatically, and not pairing with watch if the manager not istalled)

I am using Samsung Galaxy Grand duos I9082. I tried to use gear fit manager apk for my gear fit device. but did not get success.
Gear fit manager apk on grand duos shows error : unfortunately gear fit manager has stopped and close. Any solution or apk is there to connect gear fit with android 4.2.2 device. I have read on samsung website. it is not supported android 4.2.2.
If you have any solution, pls. share it.
