I've been trying from many days, wasted so many hours on the pc to get a way to root my Micromax A88 but i haven't got any.Is any one here who can help me rooting my phone.would be appreciated.

Use kingroot( latest version) I m also using engage; now it is rooted

today i m buying intex aqua power hd from flipkart
but in phone when i check for update , got message that your system is up to date.
but in phone os is kitkat.
same my frnd has this phone and he updated lollipop in his phone from few days ago..
plz help how to i update lollipop asap.
Try updating over WiFi if u tried over mobile data the first time.

Also, if you are looking forward to rooting your phone after updating then don't. Coz I tried all the possible ways(the safe ones actually) but in vain. However with your current os it seems there are multiple existent ways of rooting your device, and hence installing a custom lollipop rom!

Remember, search before you post, a quick google search got me to this website that has the lollipop images and instructions and flashtool.

Why did you quote nearly the exact text from the op and the other dude?
Sir can u tell me how I can update my Intex aqua power HD to lollipop version build no. V13 and now KitKat 4.4.2 is running .
I am now tired of finding roms for Lenovo tablet 4 10 lte only i.e tb-x304l
If someone can make or tell me any custom rom for it
