First of all my apologize for my English.
I need some help... a lot!
I have SM-G925F XSG (United Arab Emirates).
My phone doesn't have Warranty.
At the moment i have this version G925FXXU3QOLO_G925FXSG3QOL2_XSG!
Yesterday i try update to MM (6.0.1) but doesn't work, return "dm-verity verification failed" then i return to the 5.1.1 .
But in the 5.1.1 continue with the "dm-verity verification failed ".
The phone turn on and work fine, but some times without reason restart some times per day.
I try the factory reset the cashe reset but withou success...
I'm desperate, in this moment i only want put the phone operate without turning off all the time.
If necessary I install everything from zero.

try to recover the phone with samsung connect, ..it's kinda digital key problem ..root?

I don't have root. But i can put root on the phone.

Hi guys, I need your help badly, plzzzz.
So, it happened one day that my phone kept restarting after I wanted to call my mum. Every time the phone booted up, and i typed in the right PIN, the problem remaind.
I tought that a factory reset could solve the problem...it couldn't. (btw, without the SIM in it, the phone worked; thats how i menaged to do a factory reset). After that i managed to upgrade the firmware (from 2.1.1.A.0.6 to 2.1.1.C.0.0) even though that PCC said that there is no upgrade for my phone. Finally I solved the problem, but just for i while. Everything was good till i dialed again, the problem reappeared.This time it didn't recognise the SIM anymore and i had no signal, but the restarting stoped.
Then i tried something else. I wanted to unlock the bootloader, but it was already unlocked (i bought the phone secondhand), so I replaced the stock kernel and the rom, with nAa kernel(v.13) and a MiniCM7-2.2.1 custom rom. But the problem still remains. The current state is that i keep recieving "Insert the SIM card, and restart the phone" notification, and i have no signal, everything else is work fine. Plz give me suggestions what to do, to restore the cell to usable state. Thank you for advance for you'r assistance.

Repair to stock rom and lock your bootloader might do the trick.. don't lock the bootloader on a custom kernel.
Hello there,
i have a smartphone vodafone 890n and recently after of an official update of the stock rom my phone keeps rebooting at the system recovery screen...the only thing that i can do is to get it only in fastboot mode..
I did a hard reset aswell but there is no changes on it,everytime that i power it on boots into the system recovery mode...
even the sdcard doesnt work...
any change to fix it? my phone has no root,was in the original state!

judging by your nickname, I guess it was the Greek version of the vodafone android (4.4.265.21.T3.141007.KTU84P.VF.GR). I got the same problem. After I have agreed to an over-the-air update (which was annoyingly popping up for a month or so) the phone got bricked the way you describe. By the way the update has not applied due to some permission errors, as the messages were stating.
Did you manage to have it fixed somehow? Did you take it to a vodafone shop? I am abroad for the moment so I don't have this option.

P.S. A friend of mine has an updated version (4.4.317.16.T3.150915.KTU84P.VF.GR) installed. He is a bit older and he could not understand what I was talking about. Obviously updated without realizing, but it works for him. Theoretically that is the version that I should have had after the update.

Just today after installing phone info app, i noticed that samsung serial number=000000
Could this sn be the cause?

after accidentally flashed modem from g925r4 and custom rom sn got 0000000 and gsm is gone any iea im on xxxx4

I'd try doing a fresh install of one of the combination firmware builds. Those tend to fix issues like this. And then flash a stock rom after the Combination Firmware finishes booting up for the first time. This being my suggestion for the highest chance of success.
If that does not work for some reason. I'd like to know what happened. The second option then would be to root the device and use flashfire to restore a backup of your EFS partition if you have one, or flash the correct modem that corresponds to the installed build you have that reads as SN=0000000

I do have a jig for entering Download Mode (tried flashing TWRP with ODIN but no auto reboot to it, updated to Nougat Official to see if it triggered a factory reset to no avail). I wanna know if there is a piece of software I can use to reboot immediately to recovery. Thanks in advance!

If the phone is logged into his google or samsung account you can bypass the lockscreen with a PC. Just type in (on the PC) find your phone (for googles way) or find my mobile (samsungs way). Log in and select lock my device. Set a new password and it will be sent to the phone. Type the new password into the phone and your in
hi, short sad story:
Bought s6 edge+ 64gb ,after reset frp(with box), no imei, after what tried to flash many times with odin with no luck.
long story:
s6 edge plus 64gb G928F from nordic region. phone have been fully working, until my friend forgot pass.
So i bought it,do factory reset, when try many ways to to bypass FRP with no luck(earlier friends email unavaible). bring to my other friend and he disable it with box (dont know yet what type of box). and when no imei, unknow baseband and etc. spend 2 days of reading and trying to flash many roms with no luck.
Maybe someone can help me? or explain something? please help guys. over 5 years reading xda and always solved problems but not this time sadly.
edit: box was z3x, and have been done "Reset FRP in flash mode"
one more question, the box makes itself any backup on computer of efs or imei?
Hey guyz. I have a problem. I want to return to stock. The problem is i don't know what my csc is. Phone is from Poland and i don't know if it's with simlock or not. The thing is years ago I installed some soft from galaxy s5 on my s3. Don't know which one though. Everything worked fine. After years I tried to exchange it for s9+ with additional paying and they returned my phone as unable to work. I don't know what they've done to it, but for sure some wiping. Now when phone boots up a massage prompts : " "unfortunately,com.android key guard has stopped." I can't rid of this massage and it just makes the phone unable to do initial setup and any use. My idea is to flash stock firmware. I read about correct CSC and i wonder how can i check it without access to the smartphone. Or it shouldn't be concered about that and install that ? I recommend installing a stock ROM for the Poland if that is where the phone came from.
If the phone is already network unlocked, it should not re-lock if you flash a stock ROM.
