Hey guys. I installed the new Gapps 4.2 and new Play store on my i957, and with the exception of PhotoSphere in the camera app, everything is working perfect (at least all I've tried).
I don't remember exactly where I grabbed them from, but I can confirm that everything works fine for me (minus PhotoSphere).
Works on CM10 on the 7310 as well, well with the exception of Photosphere crapping out

Yeah it's pretty awesome! Launcher works pretty good for me so far also. All in all I have only good things to say, other than photo sphere of course.

Downloaded gapps 4.2 on P7300 but with KK's CM10 ROM, the keyboard on whatsapp, viber and skype doesnt seem to work :/ I think it won't work on other IM's too.. anyone got this problem?
Here is a link for flashable zip I found in the nexus 4 forum. I take no credit for this. Photosphere works. The only bug right now is you can't edit with the gallery.

Photosphere works great on mint jelly TW rom! Thanks a lot! Been waiting a while for this!
It's working without any issues on the stock rom without root. The only option that's missing is HDR. But, since stock camera app is still working side by side, that's not an issue anymore but annoyance . Anyway the photosphere also works fine.
So this camera apk is good for non root user on stock rom as well.
Any one having poor video quality? I set it to 1080 p but stays the same on AOKP

When I installed it, it was actually just an apk. But yes you will have two cameras and two gallery's.

Permissions
I just tried installing this on PACMan ROM and it failed. Are there any special steps I have to take to install it? Also, if it runs on CM10.1, then it wouldn't automatically follow that it would run on PACMan, does it?
Edit- Got it work. Had to delete the previous Gallery app, reboot, then install this one. Thanks for the new app! Seems to work better than the old one.
hi all sorry for this dumb question maybe it belong in the stupid questions thread but , what does this camera offer over the stock 4.2.2 camera ?
i didi have it loaded and uninstalled it about 10 min later , it seems verry basic to me , not many settings or options at all , and they layout seemed totally weird to me , maybe just cause im not used to it alot but i did find the settings in the camera but as far as 4.2..2 goes it has all the different shooting modes and alot to it , i'm just not understanding what this camera has over stock is all .

It basically allows us to take photosphere images and its the stock camera UI from the S4 Google Play Edition

ok so i totally understand the photosphere images as there great , i guess most people also install and run stock 4.2.2 camera as there regular then use the other camera for photosphere images ?

Thats because aosp doesnt have that function...and the google edition is an aosp experience so the feature doesnt exist
And the reason why its not uncluded in aosp is because there are no nexus devices with an sd slot...they build aosp for nexus devices, not the google edition phones
And im gonna guess the reason the "edit" doesnt work is due to some missing libs...ill look into it
EDIT: Actually able to edit from the camera...so I guess that is no longer a bug?

Edit: Never mind. I've just found out myself. This only works with Touchwiz based ROMs. You'll get forced close if you try to run it on any ROM other than TW.

It keeps force-closing on AOSP based Roms. Could anyone make a patched version please? There was a patched one of the older version that worked fine on AOSP based Roms here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2214780. I messaged the dev but I guess he's been busy. If you are rooted, you can install the XPosed Framework and the App Setting Module to change the DPI Setting for that application. Here's the link to the module, make sure you're rooted first.

Are you sure about changing the dpi of this app using because once I tried but this anote app didn't respond.

I dont have a Samsung phone, but I love this app on iphone, i think its the best note-taking app available.
i tried installing this apk on a phone and a tablet, but both of them failed.
has this been made ONLY for samsung S4? and is there any way at all this can be modded to work with all Android devices?

Since you are on a stock ROM and that too 4.1.2 .. that's why maybe the launcher doesn't work.. but I am glad that the circles work.. for me they are a piece of beauty
I am not a developer.. so i don't know how to fix that.. Sorry :/

Oh man!! I was wishing it would work... too bad.. Looks like we'll have to wait till motorola officially releases 4.3 for the ULTRA
UPDATE: @niksy+ I tried the launcher and widget on Kayant's PA 4.3 and it worked... Maybe you should try again..
I just wanted to say thanks for this launcher+circle widget. I uninstalled the old Razr M's launcher+circle widget in order to use this one, and it runs without any problems in my Nexus with crDroid rom (based on CM10.2).
Only issue (doesn't matter though) is that circle widget is above the Google Search bar.

I tried it on 4.3 PAC & it works.. You should try for yourself.. Just take a nandroid backup as a precautionary step
And I updated OP with a new link..

first of all I don't think this will work on 3rd part launchers and the second thing ... you know this zip is CWM Flashable right?
All the files will be installed as system apps and files... If you haven't done this before I recommend you not trying it..

U should install *Uninstall master* from play store
And
Uninstall the motohome

Well, the CALLF-RECORDING seems was integrated in the framework. But I've saw a MOD-Stuff sth was called XPosed MOD or sth. There is a CALL-RECORDING mod in it.

Xposed is used to tweak the framework using modules. You can try it. Not sure if it will work.
But its worth a shot.

Unfortunately Xposed does NOT work at all, it is mostly intended for Samsung rom's and is not compatible with AOSP roms.
