You can "ROOT" your Android UMX MXW1 Phone using the Kingo Root Method via PC/USB!
I used Windows 10 Pro x64 running Kingo ROOT version 1.5.1.3006 to perform the rooting.
Go on Youtube and search for the following video: How To Root Android UMX MXW1 Using Kingo Root. That video will show you exactly how to perform this process.
If it doesn't have an unlockable bootloader, then good luck getting cyanogenmod to run on it.

Anyone have any luck rooting the zte stormer / n9520? I know the zte warp (n9510) has a root method already, but I was wondering if that would work on the upcoming zte stormer. I know its not out yet but maybe someone has a pre release device?
Here's the info:
N9520, android 4.1.2
Baseband: N9520B01
Kernel 3.4.0-svn10453 [email protected]
SW: N9520V1.0.0B02
HW: cyyB
ZTE is obviously pretty new to the us cellphone market, so it doesn't seem like there's been lots of progress made on rooting their phones yet. Or maybe there's just not many people buying them yet??
Are there any generic rooting methods that are common for ZTE devices? I'm just not finding a lot of results.

I own a few ZTE devices and as far as I'm concerned there are no ZTE specific roots. The older ZTE Blade device was able to be easily rooted using Z4Root apk which basically runs a Gingerbreak exploit. There are other Android OS specific exploits capable of rooting ZTE devices (i.e. Bin4ry for ICS devices) but most of these have been patched by now. ZTE devices definitely do not have as big market as Samsung devices and therefore development for these is less. I would recommend Vroot V1.7.1 one-click root tool that has allowed me to successfully root a variety of JB devices whenever you have the new Stormer in hand.

Root method for zte n9520
Hey guys. So I asked this question a bit back and found an answer...check out this Post. http://www.photo-cool.com/?p=136637 I even emailed the guy and he responded telling me that everything remains the same but the phone is rooted so you can use "Root" apps ie: Titanium etc. The guy will also update the post as soon as he finds a custom rom that might work on it but for now just to root the phone, follow these simple instructions. So this might've solved the issue. I found a cheap case on ebay that came with a screen protector and a car plug for like 5 bucks. Anyway...love the phone
Once again page is :

If I helped...don't forget to click thanks
rooting the zte max
Yes the guy happens to be me and hes right just follow the directions i posted and you should be fine. I am working on a way to get the custom recovery working so we can then proceed on making custom roms on it i have 2 of these phones so i definitely dont mind building and testing on one of the devices since i purchased it to develope around it. Zte has always been difficult to get around but when theres a will theres a way and i determined to find it.
Most already knew about the root before he posted, but I greatly appreciate you working on recovery and roms. Would you possibly have an eta on those or custom kernel's?
Sent from my N9520 using xda app-developers app
MSL for programming
Is it even possible to get the MSL for this phone? I've tried all the MSL readers on the internet, tried all tricks (getprop ril.MSL), tried alogcat method, yet no show. Is it possible at all?

Hi Guys,
Newly bought this wonderful beast of a phone/tablet with a 7D-501L Build number.
I'm using Linux Mint 17, and I'm trying to find a way to root this device either by using adb or/and fastboot.
I've probably searched every "windows" solution out there, but so far no luck trying to understand their process to convert it to an adb/fastboot process.
Hope you guys can point me in the right direction

i rooted my 503L (EMUI 3.0 4.4.2 C208B009) using rootgenius app from the phone directly.
the phone was rooted initially when I flashed the KangVIP mod, but root was lost subsequently (cause unknown), upon recommendation from Chinese users, i re-rooted it successfully via the above mentioned app.
due to the KangVIP mod, Kinguser su management app was already the default su manager, i didnt change it, for 501L on international rom, you can download supersu from Play store after rooting to manage root access.
click on the dark green rectangle (with android logo) from the link below to download the latest apk

Hi!
I can be rooted the my Allview A5 Easy with Kingroot. Just google it and download from their official site
Install the APK and run it. Tap the blue circle. Wait the process will be done and make sure to don't let run any antivirus app on the smartphone. It will reboot twice. If not be success just run it again.
I recently got this device as a gift and have been searching around with no luck on rooting the device.
I tried kingroot oneclickroot and poot with no luck.
Model Number TCL-5056N
Android 6.0.1
try to search for a root method on xda or go to your device page I am sure you'll find something helpful ..
if your device doesn't have a page and as YOU say you couldn't root your device with kingoroot and oneclick root
then you'll need to wait for someone to discover a way to do it
OR get another phone who can be rooted here on XDA

how to root my devislce please
This is the newer version of the Insignia Flex tablet
It includes an Intel Atom Quad-Core processor.
The model # is: NS-P10A7100
Android Version is: 6 . 0 . 1 (marshmallow)
The Kernel Ver is:
3 . 14 . 0
[email protected] #21
Is anyone aware of a successful root access method for this table BESIDES KingRoot? Nothing against KR, I have just had nothing but adware problems whenever I've used it in the past. I've searched up and down for this particular model #, which is newer so I would appreciate any help, as I DO like this tablet. I would just like to have proper root access.
I found out that I can boot to recovery mode and load .zip files from SD or sideload from ABD. If this info helps, maybe someone has a suggestion?

I'm looking for same info. If I find anything I'll post here.
Me too. I am looking for a straight forward method. One root and King root seem to like to adding some of their own crap ware. I want my root to use a well respected SU like SuperSU.
I am probably going to use KR, and then use SuperSUme to switch roots to SuperSU.

Please let us know if that works out OK.
I just got a mint one from ebay. I've tried KR and kingo for pc and android and all 4 ways failed. I really want this rooted. I like the minimalistic stock rom.
Did anyone find a way to root the tablet? I want to root my Insignia - Flex - 8" tablet NS-P16AT08. Need help.
