I'm curently on resurrection remix 6.0 i tried almost all screen record apps on playstore, i cant record the screen and if any app succeed i end up with a video hhat cant be played, any ideas?
I think the app is call "scr".. It 3 letters, i remember that.. Dont expect miracles tho. The I9300 isn't really a fast enough phone.

I tried it too .... after all i found something , if i add screendrecord to quick setting and start it, it does record but no sound ... if i start the screencast it asks for permission to record sound and whenever u click allow or deny ...the output video cant be played in any video app, samething with other screend record apps,

Hello!
Is there a way to record videos with the screen turned off? I frequently record longer videos and that would save a lot of juice...
I have tried the various spy camera like apps, but none of them makes high quality recordings (although some of them can record HD it is of very low quality).
The only feature I need is to be able to turn off the screen after starting the recording in the stock camera app.
Is it possible?
No.
The only current way is 3rd party apps, as you mention. I guess you're stuck with the best of them, for now.
I use videoreg from the market to record my car journeys in case of an accident and to laugh at the stupid things people do
this has third party support for the samsung hi def codecs and can record in background, with the screen off.

Interesting. I use AutoGuard but will give this a try too. LOVE AutoGuard!
I tried videoreg - does not record anything on my device!? Which video settings do you use?

it pretty much just worked, AAC audio, 1280x720 (although 1080p works too) H.264 and mpeg4. Make sure to turn on extended camera controls and manual bitrate.
After a reboot it now works as it should (before it stopped the recording right after I pressed the rec button and did not save anything) - the quality is really perfect!! Thanks a lot! (Although I still prefer to use the stock app - in case somebody has a solution for that please post it...)
I've recently published app: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lofatsoftware.hvc which records video in background... also then screen is turned off.
I've tried it on 6 different devices and quality of video is exactly the same as when recording via android stock camera application.
I would be grateful for feedback if my app works for you.
Best reagrds,
Hello, I came here because I cant find a fix for my problem..
I installed cm12.1, no bugs, no nothing..only one thing..
My youtube app only shows the max resolution to 320p
Normaly my phone can do 480p, witch I am personally pleased
I tried app setings but it wont work.. :/ my phone is a lenovo a328,
with cm12.1 unnoficialy ported from another phone.
And another thing, after I press play on youtube app, starts playing for
5 seconds and then I must press again play in order to work again.
Please can anybody show me a way to fix this things...damn it is so
frustrating!
Hey there,
as you probably know, it's forbidden by google to include a function to an app to record the internal sound. That's the reason why all audio/video-recorder-apps (like AZ Screen Recorder) only allow to record the microphone(s).
Is there anyway a solution to record the internal sound, for example with a cable? But only the digital way via USB(-C) and not the analog way with the phone jack which causes side noises! Do I need a special OTG-Cable?
If I connect the original USB-C-Cable to my pc nothing happens really.
In the dev options in the android settings I can de/activate the usb-audiorouting (but I can see no changes)
I also can choose 'audiosource' in the usb-config. If I plugin then to my computer, there is no new 'microphone' in the audio settings. In the device manager the BLA-L29 is listed, but the drivers are marked as corrupt.
Can somebody help me to finally have the power to record the internal sound? Thank you!
Perhaps try a Bluetooth recorder? I came across this after a 5-second web search; I'm sure that with a little more effort you could find many more varieties.

Well, maybe you invest next time 5 seconds more on reading my question(s). Your reply is nothing I've asked for.
And I already searched HOURS for a good solution, but without success so far.

If the answers you're getting aren't to your liking, you're obviously asking the wrong question. Good luck.

Update: Huawei Mate 10 Pro Screen Record with Audio
Hi
I'm a Streamer and mobile Gamer, Just updated to Official Stable Android 9 on my Mate 10 pro and they actually provided a new screen recorder that can record internal audio but..
Here is the issue i'm facing :
1) When using the screen recording app and i turn the microphone off i'm able to record system sounds on any app and while its recording ,however the speaker sound is turned off so you wont hear anything until you stop the screen record. Also if you enable the mic the screen recorder app will record audio from your mic
I hope this could help Devs to take a close look at this , all we want is that to use a screen recorder which records System audio and mic just like the IPhone to allow us to stream our games to platforms like Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, Omlet Arcade without buying a IPhone .
I understand google bans devs from accessing this API : Internal Audio, but what if Huawei just develop a app like Samsung Game Launcher where only games and Streaming apps like Twitch, Youtube, Facebook Live, Omlet Arcade are allowed to access the Internet Audio Recording Function?
And BTW to all those trolls , we not requesting bloatware its a just a simple screen recorder or a Gaming Suite/Launcher app for our Mobile Gaming Community
Regards

I'm looking for an app that can download videos from the Peeks Social app without using URLs that can maybe run in the background and download the videos straight from the app itself. I tried a couple screen recording apps but all they record is the audio with a black screen and the video I need isnt live it's been on the app for a while so I figure there might be a way to download it.
PS. Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this
the recorder on lineage os works, but ever since i switched to rr nothing works, not even the apk for the lineage recorder. all the other screen recorders just record a black screen, and the lineage recorder on rr just stops recording after 1 minute. dont wanna go back to lineage just for peeks, but i bought some stuff i need to back up because these broads are always deleting videos.
So I do a lot of music composing and subsequently I love to just grab my phone from my pocket and record whatever comes to my head. Laast year I got a samsung Galaxy J3 as a gift and its a pathetic little phone with really crappy specs but one thing that I really loved was the voice recorder module which allows you to pause it mid recording and scroll through the song and begin rerecording wherver you want without having to restart a whole new recording if you make a mistake or whatever.
I now have an LG G4 and I cant download this samsung voice recorder from the Google play store, it wont let me (i try to post link to it to show it but i havnt done 10 posts yet so it wont let me, just google "Samsung voice recorder app")
I tried using the Shareit app to forcbibly send the recorder from my J3 to the G4 but it wont let it install, Im guessing because samsung put some protective coding on it. but I dont understand programming so I am wondering if someone on here can make a version of this samsung recorder exactly the same that works on all phones or show me another app that is similar?
Thanks a bunch
om nom nom
bump
anyone? anyone know of a similar recording app that can be used on all androids?
