My galaxy s III I9300 is rebooting again and again. Device is booting successfully and we can operate the device for a few minutes (2-3 minutes) suddenly it went for rebooting. I wiped data and cache from recovery and it doesn't fix also i flashed the official firmware from sam mobile using odin. The problem still exists even after the flash. I send my device to a local technician and he said there is no problem for the motherboard and he also fails to troubleshoot the problem. Anyone out there please help me to solve this issue.
Weird, I had that same problem a while ago. But wiping of the whole internal storage and reflash of stock ROM did the thing for me...
Try rebooting in safe mode? If the phone doesn't reboot then try to uninstall recently installed apps
Or.. you know check the power button
I'd blame a rogue app.. Flash a stock rom via odin twice. Ie factory reset, flash, factory reset, flash, reboot.
Why twice? Because sometimes remnants exist..

Hello, ever since i rooted my phone and then restarted it a day after my phone has a missing status bar and in storage under usb storage it will say unavailable. I can't install any apps after the restart either.
Does anyone know of any way to fix this problem?
This happens when i root using the cf method and even when i installed the litening rom (don't think i spelt that right).
Please help. Using a bell canada galaxy s ii
wipe and reinstall. if no worky, then it could be hardware issue.
I reinstall the rom (both factory and custom on two occasions) each time and it gets fixed but when i restart the next day it happens again.
I just reinstalled the litening rom without wiping and restarts don't mess with the phone anymore so hopefully that'll fix it.

Long story short, go to the following link to fix your issue. The instructions are missing two steps, you will need to download odin on a PC, it is in the same link as the article except it is under the third party apps folder. You will also need the Samsung Driver for your PC. Let me know if you still have problems.

Thank you Justin for you response, I will try that and I hope that its work.
Thank you again.
I Have followed the link from A to Z and nothing changed on the device. :crying:
I'm afraid that the mainboard has a problem!!!!!
What version of Ordin are u using? I could not get my tab rooted until I used ver 3.4......ordin 3.7 did not work fo me..not sure if this have anything to do with ur issue...just thought it may be something to look into..
ok,30 minutes ago my gs3 was next to me and I had music on then all of a sudden the ''Samsung Galaxy S III" splash screen appeared. It kept appearing and disappearing so I took the battery out for a while then inserted it and it turned on.5 minutes later the same thing happened and now it is working again but well this might happen again. What could be the problem ? can it be SDS ? but I had my gs3 for a year and a half so I doubt that.I'm running wanamlite 4.1.2,have been using this rom for almost a year.(except for trying out a few other roms sometimes).
Reflash your rom, try first without a wipe.

You can try this:-
Go to recovery and do factory reset. (You will loose all software installed by you, may b contact & sms too)
Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
Tried a factory reset and tried restoring to a an old backup, didn't help.I didn't try reflashing the rom, I doubt it will work because restoring to a backup that was working fine didn't help either.I'm thinking about giving it to samsung, hope they won't blame rooting and custom rom for the problem but I'm out of warranty period anyways.
Try another rom! But with a clean install! don't restore your nadroid backup data, use Titanium Backup for your apps.
I noticed that it happens when I actually use the phone(like for a few minutes) but when it's idle,it operates normally.
I don't have any other roms right now and I can't download any because my internet is limited currently.
UPDATE: It looks like the problem is the power button because when the phone does boot, the boot menu keeps showing up and when I pull the battery and insert it again,it boots automatically.I will get it fixed, thanks all.
hello guys
i hv a weird problem i was using my phone and suddenly the phone crashes and keeps rebooting so i desided to wipe data and after wiping it still boot looping and much worse a reset phone screen pops up after every wipe data and keeps showing me this error
Encryption Unsuccessful Encryption was interrupted and can't complete. As a result, the data on your phone is no longer accessible. To resume using your phone, you need to preform a factory reset. When you set up your phone after the reset, you'll have an opportunity to restore any data that was backed up to your Google account.
note ( it's non rooted phone ) / hope you guys help me
That's a big problem. Download the MIUI ROM from their website, flash it via Mi Flash Tool. There are many tutorials there that can help you.
I'm having a strange issue after flashing latest firmware on my Tab S7 (SM-T870)...
When I try to flash an update with odin I'm using "HOME_CSC" as I want to keep the data on the device. However it results in a boot loop to recovery where I have 3 options
1. Restart the phone
2. Factory reset
3. Check logs
Restarting the phone just restarts it and boots to the same menu.
I've checked the logs and saw an error saying:
Unable to set property "ro.boottime.init.mount.cache"
I've tried wiping cache in recovery as well, but that didn't help.
Anyone here who can help me out?
Thanks!

Maybe try to reflash previous firmware version.
There is no need to run after the lastest update.

No I tried it but only factory reset does help -.-
This is why I hate Samsung for Security reasons after a f***ing Update ...
I have the same problem, but i didn't update from Odin.
Just OTA september update, and the phone randomly goes in bootloop like once in a week.
Same here. Does anyone have any news?
same here. im in a bootloop and not even factory reset helps. i can access recovery and download mode and have flashed newest firmware three times via Odin with "pass," wiped cache, name it i've done it. I'm despondent. Does
Samsung not have the equivalent of Oneplus's MSM tool? four days have i worked furiously to save my phone.
sorry to revive, but I'm having this issue as well on my z fold 4.
Factory reset helped for about a week, and back to bootloops every 3 min or so.
PASS received in Odin, had to use micro usb cable with C-adapter as c->c did not allow Odin to complete flash (stuck at ~95% on "Super").
Not sure which error in the logs apply, but the "unable to set property "ro.boottime.init.mount.cache" to "0": error code: 0xb, try count 1-3" seem to be cause for alarm.
Has anyone fixed this?
