May be it is bug but I have temporary solution for these. First play any song from your favorite music player then open Dolby Atmos and set slider and hold down for 2 to 3 second and press power off button while holding slider. Press power on button and open music player directly from lock screen. Don't open Dolby Atmos otherwise slider reset to default. May be it help you.

hey guys i found this thread on the Galaxy Note forum!!
Credits go to MarksThinkTank .
Wave control is an app that allows u to control ur phone without even touchin it it uses ur proximity sensors that detects ur gestures..
there are 4 basic gestures which allow you to Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Enable/Disable Controls by default. however in the pro version you have additional features such as Screen Toggle On/Off, Volume Up, Volume Down, Launch Google Voice Search, Alt Play/Pause (for MX Video Player).
Here's the link to the thread

oh n press thanks if u think i'v helped u in anyway
Tested it. It does respond to proximity events but seems like all of it's features doesn't work.

tested on mine n it works.. but the proximity sensors are less sensitive on our device.. hover over the sensor not over the screen.. see the video on the original thread he gestures over the sensor.. stil its a lil difficult trying option 3(2 waves) and option 4(3 waves)..

My RAZR randomly mutes the media volume and I can't see how to unmute it. If I press the volume keys it still has an speaker icon with a strike through it

I also face the same issue many times on my RAZR since ICS and pressing the volume keys don't do anything. You've got to go to the settings>sounds>volume and then slide the media & ringtone sliders left n right which will eventually unmute your device.

Same thing here, I am now on JB and in this precise moment I'm facing the same issue, I used to unmute it by setting up an alarm or messing with the volume controls as you say but it is not working anymore, I am now seriously thinking in buying another phone although my razr is working great after the JB upgrade and the phone is in mint condition :S
If anyone was able to fix this please tell us how :S

Guys! I fixed it!, I just looked at more whining guys in this forum and found that I there is an APP that forces sound through the speaker:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix
the link to that forum is:

As soon as I installed the app the sound went back to the speakers yay!!
Hey guys, i'm kinda new here so, I hope i'm posting in the correct thread. I hope someone here can help me out with my problem though.
Anyways, whenever i'm listening to music, and I press the play/pause button on my headset to control my music tracks, my phone turns on. This get's really annoying because every time my phone turns on, it stays on for a few seconds, and this really kills battery life. I've tried lurking around my phone's settings and even my launcher settings, but i can't find a way to fix this.
My phone is a rooted HTC Wildfire S running AOKP custom rom with Nova Launcher Prime. And if it makes any difference, I'm using the "Start" lock screen from the Play Store.
Thanks guys!:good:

This isn't a native feature so the first thing to do is to check the settings of your rom and Start app. Normally there's an option you have enabled.
Do u use an app to control your headset buttons? There's maybe an option that turns on your screen while pressing the buttons.

@Primokorn
I triple checked Start app settings as well as rom control settings. There's nothing there that seems to be the problem. I don't have an app to control my headset buttons either. I can't think of anything that must be causing this issue.

No, i don't think I use active display or lockscreen notifications. When my screen turns on, i don't see any notifications or anything related to the music player. It just turns on regularly as if I were to press the power button to turn it on.

While listening to songs or any audio on my Mi A3, when the screen turns off(locked) I am not able to increase or decrease the volume with the Volume keys. Everytime I have to turn on the screen for the keys to work.
I couldn't find any settings related to that. Is this a bug or my device is faulty?
Is anyone else facing the same problem on their Mi A3?
Please help. Thanks.

Yes, there is such a problem. But there is one solution. To do this, go to settings /protection and location /fingerprints/The fingerprint icon on the screen off - turn off the slider, and now the volume will be adjusted on the locked screen.

Thanks, man!
This really helped. I had no idea about this setting.
Now that I tuned off the fingerprint icon, the keys are working.
Thanks!
