hi guys,
This might be a quick one to answer, i hope
When using the music player, i have many folders of mp3 music from apps which i cant seem to get rid of and it makes shuffeling music awful. Is there a way to stop those files from showing in my music libary? I have 3 albums in the music folder located at root and i have 1000+ sound effects somewhere else...
Thanks in advance!
how can i get google music not to play games sound?? i have .nomedia in every of those game folder already... even the default music player cant even scan those folder with .nomedia in it...
anyone know how to fix this??
If the .nomedia files don't stop it, then Google Music devs need to hear about this. You'll have to dig a bit, but since Google Music is still a beta program there should be a place/email/forum to inform Google of this bug.
I guess is only tablet google music problem... cause is fine on my phone.
i updated to the new google music which is not beta anymore but it is still playing all those gameloft games soundtrack i have in the internal memory...
so i was trying to organize my library today, accidentally renamed over 1100 songs to Eiffel 65 as the artist. No idea how something like this happened.
Anyone have a program that can analyze mp3's and rename them? I should be able to download all songs from my account, hopefully scan them with something, and then re-upload them with the correct names...
would be ridiculously amazing if something existed that could scan my google music account directly and re-name them, but I doubt thats possible.

There are Mp3 tag editor apps, but I don't think Google Play uses that kind of Mp3 tags, maybe if you edit the tags in itunes.
Otherwise you could consider getting another music player, thought I don't know anything about Google Play Music and buying music.
There's an app called itag in Google play. Those songs the app is unable to match you will need to do it manually
Hey guys,
So I am a noob, but I did a search before posting this and found pretty much just unanswered threads. I was wondering if there's any way to save pandora songs to the native music library as they're playing. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the music files are cached somewhere while the songs play and then are deleted. Any one know? Thanks in advance for anyone's help!
I've downloaded music from googly play music to my external sd card. When using file explorer or another music app I can't locate any of my music I've bought.
Is it possible to find the music mp3's somehow?
Anyone help please?
If you're talking about all access music, it is only playable with Google app. Btw, you have to look in hidden android folder, in google play music. Can't remember exact path, but it's there.
If you're talking about your purchased music, might be much better to sync/download your music to your pc, then transfer on SD card. That way filenames will be preserved, rather than numbered, as is the case with play music app downloads.
